I hate winter. Among the top marks against it is the biting cold that coops me up when I so want to get out and exercise. No more walking the cityscape, no more visiting parks, no more riding my bikes at least until late March. So what is there to do in these dismal, gray months for a body starved for the endorphins of aerobic exercise? A couple years ago I found the answer--ice skating. I come here a couple times a month when old fart winter is being a jerk. I've also done the Easton location but this one is closer to me. They have a few times a week when skating is open to the public. The noon skates are the best value at $4 plus retail skates if you need it. Friday Night Meltdown is the most popular event, and the most expensive at $10 includes skates. I like day time openings as it is less busy, for I am not the most graceful person on ice. ( truth be told, my skating would better be described as a loooong slip.) Now these are not regular hours; check the website for scheduling. This place is mainly for hockey where high school's match up, and amateur adult leagues drop the pucks. So public skates are scheduled around the games. They also have skate classes for those who don't want to learn the hard way.The rink is well maintained and large; music is played, general pop disco and dance tunes are the usual choices. The skates attract a nice variety of skill sets from novice to mastery, and age groups from children to elderly. Ice skating also makes a great date night; I have always gotten "I had a great night" text after an ice skating date. It is the endorphins. Being active is always a primo courting idea. If you are an active person with the winter blues, this is the place to come.

Better than many years ago with the improvements. Plexi has been replaced so easier to see through. New seating upstairs. No one manning snack bar; maybe people at front desk doing double duty.

This chiller facilities has definitely come a long way from a few years ago. The facility is now well lit, the restrooms are clean, and they have a great snack selection. The locker room board is now easily read and the lockers rooms are nicely setup. The staff here is also super friendly and they can handle large crowds nicely. I would definitely recommend this chiller for some open skate or booking a birthday party.

This is a great place to play hockey! They have a viewing area upstairs between the two rinks which is awesome. You have a great view of the games except for the pillars. They do have bleachers for spectators, but only in rink 1 which is a bit disappointing. The facility itself is bright and clean and the people who work here are friendly. The rink is located just down the road form multiple places to eat which is convenient for teams that travel here from out of state.

We went for a Saturday public skate (1:30-5 pm) and it was a blast! We perfected our triple axels and quads...jk. The staff was super friendly and the experience was a bit pricey for us, but fun for a one time date. $8 for public skate and $3 skate rental. Awesome facility, very clean, and very popular/busy.

Other then finding a full blown turd on one of the toilet seats, it wasn't a bad experience.

The Columbus Chillers are a great place for hockey if you're looking to get into an adult league or just starting out. The leagues range from beginner to an Adult B league for the most advanced. Even though the Dublin Chiller is the oldest of the Columbus ice rinks, it's still well-maintained and is a great facility. It no longer has the Pro Shop it once did (these are still at every other Chiller), but they are still able to sharpen skates, and even better, they can do some repair on skates as well. When my rivets broke on my skates, they were able to replace them for me within 45 minutes of me getting onto the ice for a game. The place has a great staff, who are all very friendly, and with the whole SportsOhio complex surrounding it, it's a great place to hang out and have fun for the day.

As a whole the Chillers are the best hockey experience I've ever had. For comparison I've played in 5 different leagues in 2 states. The facilities are clean, and in good repair. The games start on time and and schedules are adhered to with a minimal amount of changes. I have some issues with individual ref's (but who doesn't).The Dublin rink is the oldest of the Chillers (Easton, Powell, and Icehaus - I've never been to the 'new' Worthington rink). It's my least favorite of the four, but it's still a nice facility. Plenty of parking, good ice. The locker rooms could be a bit larger.

lets just start this off by saying New Brunswick Canada. I asked for a cookies and crème pop tart but instead they gave me a cookie that has obviously been ejaculated on by the local mailman. He was nearby at the water fountain making his own fountain of ejac. then he stole my foreskin and ate it like a pot pan pie. he smelled like penile fluids consisting of urine and hot semen. it was so moist I almost joined. him.

I have been taking my kid for last3 section to Chillers Dublin. I don't see much improvement or progress in his skating skills. They have few good teachers but most hardly care if your child is really making any progress or not. Most teachers at Chillers Dublin won't even put any efforts its disappointing.
