Let me start off by saying that you get what you pay for. This management company offers a lot of specials at lease signing time. For example, I came in and signed a 10 month lease and got $1k "anytime dollars" which I used to divide over the lease and take 100/mo off my rent. I have looked high and low around Polaris and the apartment complexes just keep popping up everywhere... With rent higher than most people's mortgage.I'm sorry but I think paying $730-ish a month is pretty good for a 2 bedroom apartment that includes:-No pet fee/pet rent-Free washer/dryer-Free water-Free gym membershipYES, I could hear my neighbors constantly... YES, the electric bill was high (in fact in the winter of 2013-2014 I had frost growing INSIDE my apartment). I didn't mention it to the office, I just bought insulated curtains and kept them shut most of the time.So - you choose what's important. This is a prime area, and these are old units.

I have lived here since December of 2012 this apartment complex is nice. I live across from the office and the place is kept clean. I have had a good experience here. I have lived in Bad places in Columbus trust me when I say this place is not a bad place to live it is a great place to live. In the time I have lived here I have Never seen any bugs in my apartment unless you count the occasional fly that gets in. I live in an upstairs unit and when I moved in it was clean and did not have that old carpet uncared for "stench" that a lot of apartments have. Besides the one time that I listed below I have never really heard my neighbors. To be honest this place is extremely quiet and I loved that I can go home and relax with hearing other people. Anytime I have had an issue and went to the office I was greeted properly and it was taken care of. Examples:1. We had an issue with a raccoon that made its way into the ceilings from the outdoor hallway. When it was reported they had someone come out and put mesh up over all the openings on the eves to block the raccoon out. Then they set a trap and caught and removed it.2. I went out of town and came home to the refrigerator having broke and everything inside spoiling. When I told them it was on a holiday weekend one of there handy men brought over a mini fridge for me to use till they could look at it. During the week someone came out checked and ordered a new one. The new one came a week later.3. My neighbor on the other side of my bedroom wall was playing music too loud and keeping me awake late into the night. I went to the office and told them about it and they said they would give the neighbor a notice. The music stopped.4. When all the break-ins happened a bunch of us asked for an extra dead bolt lock to be installed on our units and they came out and installed it the next day. They also gave us permission to have security systems installed. So in all I give them a two thumbs up because when I had an issue or a problem they took care of it as soon as was reasonably possible.

We moved towards the end of 2024. It's a huge improvement on from where we moved. Night and day different, mainly with the management. It's been a huge relief to know that we'll be taken care of at Cedar Trace.

New Management company and some nice upgrades which were much needed and some new rules and of course increased rent.. okay fine. Free recycle bin too. $20 recycle fee, um okay. Not okay to require that the recycle bin be kept inside this very small apartment and if the bin stays outside even when not in the way of any walkway renters will be charged a 25.00 fine for not keeping the dirty recycle bin inside the apartment. Also not an option to give the free recycle back because they say it has to stay with the apartment at all times. There's no room inside the tiny 1 bedroom apartment which are not 740 sq feet. No no no and if you recycle the bin they will charge 50.00 to replace the bin at move out. They said to use it as storage, sure that makes too if I didn't want to use it to recycle, but no room to store it indoors, not happy. No valid reason to not be able to keep it in the corner outside where it is out of the walkways and can be used as intended and paid for.

I lived here for 19 months only one lease. i would not recommend this apartment complex or the management of Holiday Management to anyone! The people who were living in the complex that i lived in are dirty nasty disrespectful people. Trash everywhere people swimming in the pond. Flea infested apartments on the bottom level when no pets live in the apartment. Management changes a flat rate for water but all the sinks leak. maintenance requests half finished. any complaints about neighborhood or neighbors are not acted on even with pictures of proof of the complaint. Drunks walking around at night coming close to people's front doors. multiple car break ins. i would not recommend this place to anyone. Also during the epidemic management went around and cited people by putting huge bight pink notes on cars for expired automobile tags and threatened to fine people for this when the BMV was closed. only gave one star because i had to to write this WARNING.

BE WARNED POTENTIAL RENTERS!!!Countless times of having to do my own repairs and improvements to make the apartment function and energy efficient. Windows that leak air which in turns causes water to leak in when raining causing black mold that has had to be cleaned up by myself, not properly sealed AC/Furnace returns (leak air), interior doors that do not shut completely (warping frames), An owner who believes in not ever getting in touch with tenants. A maintenance crew who is not trained correctly.Be prepared to WAIT and then be let down with what the complex will actually do to help the situation. Maintenance and owners attitude is to "band aid" the problems and not fix them. For $650 and then an electric bill of over $120 a month for a 1 bedroom apartment... Not worth the headache.Rent was just increased another $20 a month and as I type this I HAVE NO FUNCTIONING AIR CONDITIONER on a day that is 90 degrees outside with heat indexes over 100. (July 20, 2011 Heat Wave)Air conditioning is blowing air at a temperature of 84.7 degrees out of the vents in the apartment. I have reported a bad air conditioner twice now to the office.BE WARNED POTENTIAL RENTERS!!!
