We honestly chose this place for convenience. It was a little rough around the edges. It appeared that they hadn't really finished cleaning up from Saturday night. Our server brought chips and salsa and water for us and we ordered the Nachos Supreme. The salsa was good. It was tasty and fresh but not drippy. The nachos were so good. It might be the only thing making it worth coming back to Columbus. Service was good. It looks like a fun place to meet friends for dinner and drinks.

It's pretty rare that I don't check Yelp before going to a restaurant, but this time it just worked out that way. I had the Tres Marias (3 different enchiladas with rice and veggies). Solid 4 stars Hubby, who CRAVES the spice, cried his way through the Diablo Fire Habanero tacos (3 different flavors). Solid 4 stars Overall, I'd come back and try again. It wasn't anything to write home about, but a decent meal nonetheless.

Located on High Street in the Gateway this is a great place to stop for lunch or a drink after work. We stopped in for lunch and had wonderful service. We all decided on the Cazuelas bowl with chicken or barbacoa and it was delicious. The right amount of toppings and so much flavor. I would definitely stop in again to grab this bowl.

Trivia Time! - - What interesting aspect makes their tortilla chips different? (And honestly, makes double dipping a requirement) Even though the place was slammed, the bartender was attentive and even apologetic when the kitchen was backed up. (Totally okay, 100,000 people had exited from the stadium an hour prior). Food - Pretty typical Mexican fare. The quesadilla was both crammed full of ingredients, and, weirdly, NOT sliced into sections (in the picture, the cuts were made by me). Had I not cut it, one would have needed to eat it like a giant taco. Many of the other meals, passing by, looked tasty. The gentleman next to me was working his way through ice cubes because he asked for some hot salsa and it was, according to him, "definitely a little spicy." Ha! Cleanliness - I guess I should remember this is a college restaurant and bar. But the place was really sort of dirty. There was standing water in the corner of the restaurant and the bathrooms smelled and looked pretty rough. Again, the place was swamped. Notables - lots of great brews that pair well with the tacos, enchiladas, and the many tasty meals. The Pacifico with lime was great. Also, the margarita pitchers seem very popular.

WELLLLL my first time going I went on a Monday night. Of course it wasn't busy so I thought service would be good....sadly the girly went mia most of the nightI got a margarita it was indeed delicious but it got ruined by the employees splashing dirty dish water that they clean the tables with.??? Like what the hell why would the buckets be so close to ppl eating & drinking...Then honey...the birria tacos. WHAT? Looked like my 11y/o niece made it. The thick onions that were overly seasoned & the meat was terrible. Gah dayum they'll never see me again

The food is average at best and way overpriced. The service is sketchy most of the time. It's one of the few choices if you work on South campus. Finally, they charge a service fee for a gift certificate--a piece of paper like in the last century, not a card. I got it for someone who likes their food. First place, the person didn't seem to know how to do one--took my card in the back multiple times, which seemed odd. I noticed the fee in my bank statement. Had she told me there would be a fee, I would've made a gift selection that didn't involve their restaurant.

Lev 5 he's a great server!Anoche salí con mi hermana y nuestro servidor, Lev, fue genial. Sin embargo, cuando nos sentamos en la barra para tomar tequila, el bartender seguía burlándose de lo oscura que es mi piel. Intenté tres veces redirigirlo para que solo nos diera un trago, pero él seguía con las bromas. No fue hasta que le pedí firmemente de nuevo que finalmente nos dio un trago. Definitivamente habría regresado por nuestro servidor Lev, pero debido a esos tres chistes coloristas sobre mi cabello y color de piel, no volveré. Cazuelas Gateway, mejoren-- no todas las latinas se parecen a Sofía Vergara."**My sister and I went out last night, and our server, Lev, was great. However, when we sat at the bar for some tequila, the bartender kept making fun of how dark my skin is. I tried three times to redirect him to just give us a shot, but he kept going on with the jokes. It wasn't until I sternly asked him again that he finally gave us a shot. I would have definitely returned because of our server Lev, but due to those three colorist jokes about my hair and skin color, I won't be coming back.
