Went for the first time with my family for Mother's Day and my dad's birthday. Cocktails were really good. Salads were okay. Pizza was not great. First time in my life I ordered mushrooms with my steak and got canned mushrooms??? They were warm and only tasted like butter. So gross.

Hole in the wall restaurant tucked in Lancaster. Their steaks are always spot on. Sometimes we get tired of driving all the way out to Columbus to eat, this is always our number one choice for great service and good steak. Make sure to get their coleslaw and mushrooms!

Great service and food is yummy! Quaint place but they have good specials and have never had a bad meal. Pizza is good too!

This is a great steak place, farm to table with this place. Can not get a steak any fresher. The appetizer are good and the soup and sides are strong. It you come here to get a steak and $5 cheaper than any one else. It's a chill atmosphere so do not dress up like we did.

Wow I thought I reviewed Castaways but I will try again. The service was great! Quick to come to table and take your order. The Ambiance was to my liking but I like "old school" tablecloths on each table. Food, I know restaurants are trying to overcome loss time at lockdown & was looking for some tastier food. My mouth was all set for a great sirloin steak but it was tasteless. I paid a lot of money for that meal and I am willing to wait for a freshly cooked steak. This is a sit down meal and I am not there to be rushed out the door. I maybe critical but I want what I pay for and not fast food taste. I will give you a 2nd chance. Attention to steak and pizza is how I remember Castaways.

Very disappointed, I had heard so many people talk about this place. Perhaps we came on an off day, because our experience was not what we expected. The house salads were sad, the lettuce was wilted and had brown spots, my cole slaw must have been left in the fridge far too long.The meat was tasty, but not evenly cooked. I wanted medium rare, throughout. The baked potatoes were rather small for the price we paid.Perhaps, we need to give it another try, but it may not be for a while.

This was a new place for us. Glad we went. Food was reasonable priced. Service good. We had an issue with our order but the staff took care of it. All the staff worked together well we plan to go back this weekend. We had heard about this place but never tried it till now. Going to try the beef for two next

Food service...EXCELLENT food quality and service was fine.. cost$$$. Save up!!Ambiance a little noisy but weekend friday holidays time..

"Come eat at the butcher's house". This says it all! If you want a great steak, casual atmosphere and excellent service with a good price, this is THE place. Steaks are always spot on and I love the cole slaw so much that I order double serving every time I'm there. Great owners greet each patron with a smile and respect that you can only get in a hometown small business. Keep up the great work.

Need to go back. The first time was not impressed. Service was okay. Food could have been better. Layout a bit crowded. But it has been awhile, a lot of people like it. So we will have to try again!!
