Carletta's Pies

Carletta is absolutely wonderful and so are her delicious pies! She truly has a remarkable product. I hope word continues to spread about how amazing these pies are. She puts so much care into her cooking and uses such high quality ingredients - you'll really notice the difference with that first bite! I've had a whole pie to myself, from the Clintonville Farmers Market, that I kept in my fridge and slowly ate over a week. It was perfect for when I just wanted a bite (or three) of something sweet. I've also just ordered two more pies - excited to try the different varieties - for our upcoming Friendsgiving Celebration. I could not be more excited to enjoy these pies with the people I love. I plan on coming back for more, year after year, whether it's to share or simply enjoy myself! 20/10 recommend Carletta's Pies. These pies are raising the bar for all desserts, and no gathering should be without one!

I haven't had her pies recently, but have had the sweet potato in the past. Delicious!!! Looking forward to trying other items as well

We've been fans of Carletta's pies for years. We started enjoying them when she had a stand at the Clintonville farmers market. Carletta's pies are decadent and delicious. She specializes in fantastic sweet potato pies. Recently she has expanded her business and bakes a wider variety of pies and also does catering. We ordered a number of pies for our Thanksgiving. You'll need to order more than one because one of the pies will immediately disappear (YUM!) and then save the other for your dinner. We ordered one of her new banana cream pies which was like southern banana pudding in a crumb crust--oh! So creamy! We ordered three different types of sweet potato pies, her traditional which has a rich taste with nutmeg and cinnamon, her signature which has more of a creamy texture and taste without as much spice, and the third type which was her new praline pecan pie. This pie has the traditional sweet potato filling and then is topped with a brown sugar and pecan praline that makes you think of a combination of sweet potato and pecan pie -very sweet and very delicious.Carletta's pies freeze well. She gives instructions on the box. They have become a special part of our holiday celebrations. As Carletta herself says- Better get two 'cause one won't do!
