Caribe Sur

I was looking for lunch on SFF and saw that Caribe Sur was in my doctor office's Ear/Eye Institute building , so I decided to try them. I like the bright, bold colors used for their catchy food truck exterior! The gentleman manning the window was polite. They were currently out of fried cod fish, so I was happy to wait the 5 minutes, as I wanted to try their three tacos - chicken, pulled pork, and the fried cod. I did ask for their cilantro sauce in place of the chipotle sauce.I misread the chicken taco description - theirs is crispy, which is not my fav in general. The chicken didn't have much taste (more times than not, frying anything tends to take away the natural flavors and juices, and replaces it with just sustenance). The fried strip was warm and pretty easy to chew. The cilantro sauce is too mayonnaisey for me by itself, but it wasn't bad squirted on the tacos. It would be awesome if each taco had its own toppings (theirs is the blanket lettuce, tomato and sprinkled Mexican-blend cheese); for instance, if the fried cod had its own slaw - something to set itself apart, I always enjoy that more; but, a personal statement, so take it as you will.

I ordered the Fried Shimp entre dinner that comes with cabbagr and redbeans and rice.I also ordered a side of Mac and Cheese.Had a fun time out with friends at Moments Lounge. In the parking lot is the food truck. I love to support food trucks. I recently seen their truck was stolen. I hate thieves. I'm glad this food truck is up and running again.The food was hot and great. Everything packed and sealed with no spills. Card or Cash payment. It was a cold night so the wait was 10min and they send you a text message when it's time to pick up your food. I will be following this food truck for future purchases.

Caribe Sur was a great option at Pins Mechanical for a snack! The quesadilla was really good and extra cheesy. The tacos were delicious as well! The service was excellent from the cashier to cook! Top notch a bad highly recommend!

I get this just about once a week . They are parked outside pins mechanical co on a lot of weekends. There sauce on the tacos is good. So is there pico. My chicken this time tasted a old, but it usually is fresh. There service is just mediocre . If your gluten free they do not have a lot of options .

The cubano was no bueno. It was a good size, but smothered with processed cheese that overpowered any other flavor. It had pulled pork and ham, with pickles, but the cheese was so overpowering. Neither my husband or I enjoyed it. Ten bucks wasted. The mozzarella sticks were good, fresh fried and tasty.

Had the Dominican burger with fries. The burger was delicious & juicy. Cabbage, tomato, red onion and 'golf sauce' (mayo ketchup blend) all on a nicely grilled bun. There were plenty of French fries and they were good, but I was surprised they weren't hand cut fresh fries. That would've taken it to a 5 star review.

Stopped here and grabbed the crispy chicken tacos. Didn't think I'd be writing a review, but they were fantastic. Emphasis on crispy. Chicken was good quality, not just a bunch of breading. The tacos were nicely filled and prepared carefully. The ingredients tasted fresh. Will definitely stop again if I see this truck around

Amazing experience! The pork tacos were out of this world. We are from out of town but next time we are in the Columbus area we will be back!

No. I just had the crispy fish tacos. It tastes like the fish has been reheated. The fish is hard to chew. I cannot finish it. It was a waste of $9.
