Canton Chinese Restaurant

First time trying this place. My wife and I both ordered General Tso Chicken. Food came out hot and was not too bad. It was. bit spicier than other places I have been. Over good flavor just was not anything special. The dining room was empty except for one other guest and was standard fair for small Chinese restaurants. Service was good, no frills. Took our order, food came out, refilled water and cashed us out. No chit chat but friendly. Would consider again, perhaps something different from the menu. Interesting side note. there was a line on my bill that said other food item. Hand written next to it said tax. However the tax line on the bill was 0. The amount was calculated incorrectly. It makes me wonder if they are trying to avoid sales tax here.

Good Chinese. Moved to the area in search of authentic great Chinese. Like this place. Great fresh veggies. Light sauces. Good flavor. Excellent correctly cooked shrimp. Good noodles. Decent fried rice. Will be back

I bowl in Delaware on Tuesday nights and it's a goal to hit a different spot in town every couple weeks for dinner. My friend wanted Chinese. Having no experience with any place in town, I looked on Yelp. I was sad to see that the average for this place is below 3 stars. Google gives it above 4. I suggested that we try here anyway, and I have no regrets! Already at 430p on a Tuesday, there were several patrons. A great sign of good food! The decor is definitely not what you are going for, but it is very much like any other small family style Chinese restaurant. The prices are affordable, but you could tell there was a recent price increase based on the handwritten prices over the old on the menus. ;) Everything costs money, I get it!The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. But, I must tell you--they have THE BEST curry sauce I've ever had! I opted for the Curry Chicken (a la carte), and instead of Chinese veggies, I subbed for broccoli and got steamed rice. Nice portion size, but I could barely stop myself from eating all of it! I ordered their crab Rangoon, too... they were good, but nothing extraordinary. All of our food came out fresh and my friends really enjoyed what they had--Hunan Beef and War Su Gai. We will definitely be back.

Before I moved away 4 years ago I was coming in here periodically since 2005. The food is always fresh, tasty and hot. The owner is always very nice and accommodating. I stopped by for dinner. I ordered the Singapore Noodles dinner. It started with a small bowl of Won Ton Soup and followed by an appetizer plate with a giant prawn, egg roll, and rib. Then came the noodles. I was surprised there was curry in it because it was not listing it on the menu but it was sooooo good! It was a very large serving so I had to take the rest home. According to the owner he has been there for well over 20 years. The place is small and does not have a lot of seating but could use a little bit of an update. One thing I really like is they do not have a TV on. Some music would be nice.

I am new to delaware . It was the first Chinese carryover I have in delaware . It is canton style. I don't normally order soup,but My fiancée get their hot and sour soup,and it is different as other Chinese restaurant,and it is good . Love it.

The food it is kinda dry and the taste can improve but they got some really good staff and nice place.

The food is very good and the staff is courteous. They have my favorite dish, which is Shrimp Egg Foo Young. Almost all Asian restaurants in Delaware do not offer this dish. I believe that most of their business is done through carry out.

Extremely greasy and arguably the worst Chinese I've ever had. First look, it seemed like your typical fast Chinese food place but it's not.

Awful new owners nothing we got tasted like the " Old Canton" my favorite dish was a mess & they did not have peanut sauce on it and argued with me. WHY WHY WHY did our old friend sell & not tell us during COVID, so sad.
