I've come to the conclusion that the reviews I've read about them not wanting to do smaller receptions is quite accurate. It's been over a month since I've heard from Krystin Van Horn, the Director of Sales. I've followed up and left a voicemail message. If they don't do receptions under a certain number? Communicate that. If it's a busy season due to the holidays and the response time is slower? Communicate that. If the wedding is too far in advance and they'd rather provide a proposal closer to said date? Communicate that. The venue we chose has them down on their list of caterers that they will only use. I plan on sharing my experience with them in hopes they remove them since the venue is for small to medium sized weddings. Every wedding planning site I am on, I will be posting about this experience. It's a shame I can leave a review not based on what they actually do, but on how they don't feel I'm good enough to get around to doing what they actually do.If you have a smaller wedding/reception, I'd look elsewhere.

Fantastic food, great service, but what puts Cameron Mitchell Premier Events over the top is the attention to every little detail. I had the pleasure of attending a wedding and everything from the ambiance of the dining room to the food being served was amazing!! If you are looking for a caterer in the Columbus area look no further.

I ordered Cameron Mitchell's "Thanksgiving in a Box" and it was fabulous. The Turkey was tender and moist and tasted fantastic! The green bean casserole was so tasty and complimented the flavors in the creamy mash potatoes and gravy as well as the tart and tasty cranberry relish. The bread tasted freshly baked! Nothing tasted over-salted. The re-heating instructions were comprehensive and easy to follow. Included are times for putting each into the oven so everything is ready once the turkey is completely heated. Love the simplicity! I will order again next year!

The event and wedding season has begun, indeed. One thing I've noticed this year is that Cameron Mitchell Catering seems to be more and more prevalent among these satiating soirees. I can only review based on being the end consumer, not the purchasing customer, but if I was paying for it, I'd be happy with the results.I've run into different service-speed issues (some places they are incredibly quick, some not so rapid on the repast reload). The food is always well prepared and satisfying. I've seen simple dishes and some more unique offerings. But I'm going to give this catering co. 5 stars for their charitable contributions! A friend of mine recently held a fund-raising event for BuildOn.org and Cameron Mitchell Catering donated all the food as well as the catering staff. With some thanks to Cameron Mitchell Catering, this worthy cause was able to raise funds to help children in need around the world.

I would highly recommend NOT even thinking about using these people for a catering event. Don't know what it takes to get them to call you back. Evidently, they make plenty of money and do not need your business. The below comment form "the business" is laughable. The WORST customer service ever!
