Jim T. "My wife and I came here while winery hopping on a Saturday. We enjoyed our flight of wine - especially the Moon Dreams. We ordered the special appetizer of deep fried pickles and tried to order the apple crisp but they were out of it by 3:30. We ordered the bread pudding with a scoop of ice cream instead. The food was tasty and the service was quick. They were very busy for the middle of the day in the restaurant but we weren't overlooked."

Gab D. "Everything from start to finish at Cooper's Hawk was delicious! The restaurant was nice inside with low lighting and simple decor but had a comforting vibe for the holidays. We made reservations for Christmas Eve and although it was busy, we did not have to wait long for our table to be ready (maybe 20 minutes). Our waitress was spunky and hilarious (she introduced herself as Oprah lol). She was lovely and did a wonderful job with our service. We started off with their over the boarder egg rolls and died at how amazing they are! The pretzel bread was also insanely delicious and we also enjoyed the bruschetta and Italian sausage and whipped vuestra flatbread. Everything was great! For dinner, we ordered a variety of items including the prime churrasco grilled steak, the jambalaya, braised short rib risotto, and grilled tenderloin medallions. We all thought our dishes were quite tasty. The only hiccup was three of us ordered the churrasco steak and they did not quite get our meat cooked as each of us requested but aside from that, the dish was great and the cilantro-lime aioli was awesome! For dessert we enjoyed the salted caramel crème brûlée and some of the house-made truffles. Highly recommend! Lovely experience here and looking forward to coming back!"

Simone M. "We had an awesome afternoon at Vineyard at Porter Central. Fabulous friendly service, quaint interior with a live musician (unexpected and added the perfect touch!) We did a tasting which included 4 options. Not a large selection of wines, but with the seasonal ciders it wasn't hard to fill! Loved seeing the sheep and sitting in the many different outdoor options. Stunning farm. Hidden gem in Sunbury for sure."

My favorites were the blackberry and Peary. The building is an old IGA grocery store, and the setting is like an old antique café. Very quaint and the people were very nice. Not too far away from all of the other attractions in Sugarcreek. Will definitely be back."

Sandy P. "We went Friday 10/7 for a tasting. We didn't expect much for a winery in Nevada Ohio but let me tell you we were pleasantly surprised. Joe and Cindy Kraus greeted us as soon as we walked in. We did the tasting and all the wines were delicious. The tasting room is in the house. He could explain the wines and actually had some grape varietals that I'd never drank before. Try the wine century club to see more grapes to try. Very pleasant people offering pleasantly good wines."

Kris H. "The Winemaker's Shop is a rarity in that they're extremely knowledgeable and have tons of experience. It's run by a botanist and an accomplished high profile microbrewer, and it's been around for decades. The shop is really easy to peruse, and the staff is friendly and extremely well informed. I've been to beer stores that happened to have beer brewing kits, but I never get the information I need. This is especially awesome because brewing beer and wine is the absolute focus of the business, so they can field any question you might have."

Amanda P. "Even if you "don't like wine" just try it! I haven't tried any wines even close to this good. My personal favorite is Buck shot it's a very sweet blueberry wine. They do tastings and they are very affordable, small samples. Their food is good. I've had the burgers which were great! Chicken strips were yummy and the meat and cheese tray was a lot of food! There is indoor and outdoor seating. Def a must try winery! Add it to your list."

You can feel that it's family owned and the atmosphere here is so positive and warm. The woman who was our hostess for the night was so helpful and awesome for our entire experience. The food was delicious and the wines are great. My mom and I paired some appetizers with wine flights and then took some bottles home. Unfortunately, they don't ship bottles, but perhaps soon! Hopefully . 10/10."

Brett B. "Just saw that a 21 and over rule was implemented. This is a total game changer!! We are so tired of going to breweries, wineries, distilleries and so many are bringing their children now. Rarely do you find a well behaved child, seated at table not making a scene...but they're kids, they need to run. This falls on the parents who insist on bringing their kids to an alcohol establishment, total failure in their part.Kudos to Rockside Winery, we're coming back!!!"
