"Everything from start to finish at Cooper's Hawk was delicious! The restaurant was nice inside with low lighting and simple decor but had a comforting vibe for the holidays. We made reservations for Christmas Eve and although it was busy, we did not have to wait long for our table to be ready (maybe 20 minutes). Our waitress was spunky and hilarious (she introduced herself as Oprah lol). She was lovely and did a wonderful job with our service. We started off with their over the boarder egg rolls and died at how amazing they are! The pretzel bread was also insanely delicious and we also enjoyed the bruschetta and Italian sausage and whipped vuestra flatbread. Everything was great! For dinner, we ordered a variety of items including the prime churrasco grilled steak, the jambalaya, braised short rib risotto, and grilled tenderloin medallions. We all thought our dishes were quite tasty. The only hiccup was three of us ordered the churrasco steak and they did not quite get our meat cooked as each of us requested but aside from that, the dish was great and the cilantro-lime aioli was awesome! For dessert we enjoyed the salted caramel crème brûlée and some of the house-made truffles. Highly recommend! Lovely experience here and looking forward to coming back!"
"Not sure if this is Elite-exclusive, but if you check in here on Yelp, you'll receive a $10 off $40 coupon! This time, I ordered the pasta rosa again, and my partner ordered the goat cheese ravioli. (Note: I forgot to specify, but my previous picture of the pasta rosa is only a 1/3 portion; the server kindly had the kitchen plate the dish in portions since she knew we were sharing. Thanks Robin!)The pasta rosa was once again amazing, and the goat cheese ravioli was just as great if not better. It was savory, sweet, tangy, and just perfect. We also ordered Protea white wine, which was also delicious and a perfect complement to the food.Additionally, the women's restroom is so clean and has a basket of free menstrual products, which I think says a lot about the restaurant and their care for the customer. This may be on the pricier side, but it is worth the quality of the food and experience."
"Mezzo!!! I visited in 2019 and finally made it back tonight and it was just absolutely superb! Brian was our server and he is the BEST hands down.My group of 6 and I made it out to here to celebrate the birthday of a lovely friend. Making a reservation was easy and so was parking in the lot nearby. The restaurant itself is dimly lit and intimate. My only complaint is that it is insanely loud. But otherwise it is lovely. The food is fantastic. I went with the Orecchiette and it was perfect! I also had a glass of lovely red wine that paired nicely with the pasta. I have no complaints and will definitely be back soon!!"
"Super surprise for us. We met up with another couple from out of town and heard good things about Ale House 1890 but had yet to make it over - not to mention this was bookmarked in my Yelp for who knows how long. :) We heard word the line can be out the door. No reservations (I REALLY like reservations) but we were savvy enough to meet up at 3 pm for a late lunch/early dinner with our friends. Lunch menu is available until 4 pm when the dinner menu comes up and at that point, you get the option to choose from which menu you like. Huge bonus. The pretzel nuggets and bacon appetizer were incredible we ordered the bacon one twice! I had the grilled cheese with fries my husband ordered the best out of all of us - his was the steak with amazing veggies. Our wait staff was awesome. She was so helpful and paced us nicely. By the time we got out close to 6 pm the restaurant was jamming. Lots of large parties one I recall was a milestone bday with the birthday girl all decked out with a sash and tiara. Parking is on the street as it's downtown so be prepared to walk a little though not bad. Casual not super fancy which works. I think next time we'll hit the bar where we normally sit just the two of us as it looked super cute and fun. Bathroom was clean. Check it out for a fun different spot and come to find out it wasn't that far from our home in Columbus."
"Just passing through late on a Sunday evening. Pull into the parking lot and the place is packed. Wow! Must be a good place to eat my wife says! Park the car walk in and we are quickly greeted and seated in a booth with an amazing atmosphere surrounding the restaurant. Our waitress "Veronica" quickly greeted us pleasant and up beat. We we asked if they had aperol spritzer she said yes. We said two please !My wife ordered the ziti. I ordered the veal both delicious meals! If you are a local or just passing through you won't be disappointed if you stop in at Pasquale's and order your favorite Italian dish. . Bon appétit"
"So, is this a bar? Of course. "Tavern" is right in the name. But it's so much more.First, skip to dessert. This place carries a million types of Amish made pies. Flavors you didn't know existed. And frankly, I'm not sure how the Amish knew they existed. So save room for dessert. You have been warned. The food: this neighborhood classic has been dishing out comfort food since 1964. And they it really well. Burgers, fish, sandwiches, meatloaf...traditional bar fare done right. The bar: a cozy area in the main room with dining room booths and tables. Oh, and a patio out back where some might partake in tobacco, but as I'm not sure what the rules are about that anymore, I'll deny having said that. Bonus: they have TouchTunes but are often playing great songs on a radio.Bonus 2: this place has on street parking AND a parking lot. What the hell? On this street? Yes!!! Well done, 1964 planning. It's on a COTA bus line, too, for those of us who use transit. Bonus 3: Great staff. Sometimes it takes awhile to get your food order. You know why? Because they care and make it properly, so be cool. Pie is coming later. Pie! Stop in. Try it out. And wait for the Goldwater/LBJ election returns to come in. By the end of the night, you won't care, but you'll have made new friends and had a great meal. By the way, you can order pie to go. Because sometimes you need pie on the fly."
"Attended a wedding. The space was large and staff was very accommodating. The food at the bar and the venue was delicious. An order of fries was only $3.00 and fresh not frozen. We had large potato perogies with sausage and glazed onions wonderful flavor with a smooth texture. A fresh garden salad with crisp lettuce blend. The chicken breast had a lot of seasoning, nice and warm, one breast was plenty for two. Definitely going again!"

Everything about this place was 5 stars! We were greeted promptly then seated outdoors per our request, we had time to lol over the menu which I needed as I'd never been and weren't rushed. The food was absolutely delicious and filling. A very pleasant lunch outdoors enjoying the almost fall weather.

Absolutely delicious, and I almost feel bad that they lost money on me. Almost...Came in on a Tuesday for dinner and sat at the bar. Bartender said the fried chicken was sooooo good, so I had to try it. It was absolutely delicious! Breading was flavorful, chicken was moist. Brussels were devine and although I don't know a grit from a writ, these were good.Washed everything down with a local IPA. The beer cost me $8, the dinner $10 as it was the weekly special.

This place is so charming and cute in old Dublin along with an amazing HH!! I have met many friends here after work to split a $12 bottle of wine (during HH in/ at the bar) along with a super light and yummy flatbread type pizza. They have about 4 different options and can choose from and even substitute gluten free crust if need be!! Yay! I have had most of all their HH menu and everything is shareable and good. Especially for the price it can't be beat!! If you are looking for a great charming place to meet friends or go out for date night Mezzo would be a great option! Also lots of free 3-2hr parking in surface lots near and close by!!

Most recommended restaurant passes the test! Since arriving in Lancaster & asking around, Ale House 1890 has been the most recommended. Upon entering the hostess was very welcoming & nice. She promptly sat us and wished us a great evening. I found it extremely endearing & not what I'm use to. A welcomed change! The menu isn't large, but they have some good choices. We opted for the 7 pepper burger and the A.H. Chopped salad. oh... my... the chopped salad is large and SO so SO good. All incredibly fresh ingredients. The chicken was cooked to perfection. It knocked my expectations out of the park. I wish I had snapped a photo, but to be honest I scarfed that down without talking until I was far too full. The 7 Pepper burger was also delicious; cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly & all the ingredients meshed together bringing out bold flavors to complement the juicy burger. I will 100% eat here again (and again).Thank you Ale House!

The photos don't do these meals justice, as the lighting isn't very conducive to pictures -- but it is conducive to an enjoyable, intimate dining experience! Pasqualone's is a bit of a hidden gem in the middle of a strip mall. Upon entering, we were greeted not by someone at a host stand, but by the chef himself, who stepped out of the kitchen and immediately greeted us by first names (since you have to make a reservation to go there-- they are small and only have about 12 tables I believe?). We entered the dining room which was cozy, close seating but not cramped, with delightfully kitschy / old-school murals of brick facades or Italian countryside on the walls. The server was friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about the food and wine, and rattled off a number of impressive specials before giving us the typical menu as well. We went for the veal marsala, which was delicious with its creamy sauce, and the lasagna, which had both marinara and Alfredo sauce and short rib. A stand out might have been the escargot we ordered as an appetizer: it was perfectly broiled and covered with crisp breading and cheese. I have had escargot in France, and this was better! Wonderful date night, and it also feels great to support a local small restaurant that doesn't have a corporate feel.

$7.00 cheeseburgers on Monday! I ordered the cheeseburger with America cheese. Choice of French fries or potato chips. Burger was cooked perfectly to order. Juicy and delicious! The service was decent. This is a neighborhood bar/diner. There are plenty of tables and booths to accommodate a crowd. Reasonably priced drinks. This is my go to place on Monday!

The Paddock Pub is a wonderful clubhouse for the Groveport Municipal Golf Course, complete with rich solid wood furnishings and walls, with lighting to match. Luxurious! I felt very comfortable here. Can't tell you much about the service as I was only here for takeout, but what I did experience was fine. Routine. Rote. Now for the important part: my Rueben was WONDERFUL. One of the best sandwiches I've had in the past year in fact- so thick, juicy, and tasty!Jordan's goes on the list. Awesome job, Groveport! PS The parking is kind of far from the restaurant. And it's a steep uphill climb.

This was a cool experience. Drinks and pizza what more can you ask for. It was not a lot of people here and it made the experience even better. I will definitely be back again!

"Love this place for volleyball and happy hour. I've been playing sand volleyball at woodlands for 2 years now and I love it. The leagues are affordable and the happy hour is always great. They have a burger place inside with a limited menu butt super delicious food. They've also amped up their craft beer game which is amazing! $3 beers on happy hour for ANY beer=win! They also added the outside sand volleyball dome this winter and I just got to try it out. It's pretty cool, but has some downfalls. Your ears pop pretty uncomfortably when you enter and the whole place is sand for volleyball and I know it's winter outside but the sand is a super super cold. It was hard to play because I couldn't feel my feet after 5 min. Overall cool idea and I love this place. Glad they tried the dome, but I'll wait for summer and sun for my beach volleyball."
"This is their hot chocolate. It comes in 8, 12 or 16 ounce (this is the 12). Delicious and creamy! Friendly people, and some great art from local artists on the wall. Inside seating and patio seating in warmer weather. Street parking is relatively easy to find."
"I found Graystone through a website for venues in Columbus when I was looking for a corporate holiday party for 70-80 people.Graystone Cellars is a banquet venue in the Brewery District located in a limestone vault. (pretty cool, huh?!) They carry some local wines & their food menu looks delicious! Plenty of options from a la carte apps to dinner and apps to dinner, drinks, & apps, etc.For drinks, there are multiple options from sodas to wine/beer to wine/beer/spirits, to better spirits, you name it!Brian was responsive and the information packet he sent me had everything I would want to know (the food and drink options, venue pictures, cost, etc.). I asked if gratuity was included, and he confirmed it was added into all of the pricing. So, it was a really great option!I haven't reviewed places I haven't experienced, but we looked at quite a few venues, and I was really impressed by the quality of food and drinks, how beautiful the space was, and the price. It was the best venue option, in my opinion. So, I wanted to share! The only reason we didn't book Graystone is because one of my colleagues got too nervous about the little lead time we had & wanted something with live bar music for the younger folk, so he booked a grungy bar. The younger team wanted to karaoke (he didn't), and he knew that no one could karaoke if there was already live music & a venue available to the public, so here we are. Ha! Fingers crossed for next year."
"The place is a very cool, old 3 story venue in downtown Newark, apparently recently renovated. We drove over for the Ben Nichols of Lucero solo show. We did have drink/bar issues in that the third floor bar was limited and the main floor bar was busy with only one gal tending. My husband could not get the beer he wanted as they were out so he settled for another. He ordered my Riesling but they had to go fetch a warm bottle from the basement. The sound was pretty good, although since we were standing under the speakers, it was difficult for me to hear his between song chats with the audience.I would return. I love old places with character and this suits my enjoyment of small Indy shows."
"Left here very impressed with food, story and art. Amazing people, super interesting owner. They let your tour in back kitchen when you come.Should give this place 7 stars, best meal I've had in the past decade. Best lobster bisque I've had. Foie Gras to die for. Great beef wellington. Drinks were great too.I was a bit floored to start with when they were giving me a tour, Chef Hubert was private Chef to the King of Spain for four years. Pretty epic connections, apparently Charlie Trotter worked here for a time and a few chefs have Alinea ties.Apparently some big names come here, Warren Buffett closed the deal to buy RR engines and the Ohio gov is a regular.I've never said this about a restaurant before but I was very impressed by the art. Salvador Dali, Chahuli and some awesome new age stuff I'm not familiar with."
"Clover Valley is a well maintained public course out in the country but close enough to suburban Columbus. The greens and fairways are in pretty good shape but had a little bit of damage depending on the hole. The hole placement on the green was pretty difficult which was annoying considering the general difficulty level of the course. The carts were nice but could have used a good spray down. Overall, it's worth a visit if you find a good deal."
"I'm not a golfer....at ALL. I've been to Little Bear 3 times for our "Discover Arbonne" meetings once a month. It's a very nice facility (as far as the conference room we meet in.) The bathrooms especially are interesting...with deer and other animals mounted on the wall. It's a bit nerve-wracking if you're pee-shy. hehe!"
"I visited the Social Club a week ago to attend a surprise party in a rented location off to the side. I can't give a great deal of information about the establishment because our activity was kept in that one room.It was a huge dining area that is ideal for hosting events (spacious for party tables and a section for catering), but I have some concerns about the full-sized windows in the front. Depending on the activity, unblocked sunlight might limit the effectiveness of various engagements. It was difficult for us to take appropriate photographs in the back of the room because of light in the windows. Also, there was poor cool air movement, so we were uncomfortable throughout the evening, despite the great event and wonderful food. When we left, I did notice that there was adequate security in the entrance to the bar/club, which I greatly appreciated. Considering the area of Hamilton Road, many visitors want that sense of security. One day, I may go back to see the club side and hopefully I'll be able to give a more detailed review of the lounge as a whole."
"My boss took another co-worker and me to lunch here the other day. If The Stanely Hotel from The Shining was envisioned as a restaurant - this would be the place. Tall ceilings, proper silverware, really old waitresses. The dining area was filled with old fat business men wearing glasses and reading newspapers. Real Republican, out-dated vibe. The food was okay. I ordered the fish sandwich and it tasted just like a fish sandwich - nothing special. I don't think I'll ever come back, it's just an "old money" kind of place. Not my definition of a classy or romantic place either."
