"Tremendous! I've been working with Frankie after a series of injuries and planned surgery. I have limited ROM and balance issues as well as a bit of weight gain/muscle loss due to rehab. This studio has been a game changer for me, my flexibility, balance, and confidence. Everyone at this studio is so kind and welcoming and lovely. I've been able to get back to my regular gym with confidence and the Pilates sessions add to my ability to participate in regular things like hiking and walking for miles without worry. I've learned so much about my small muscles and the difference a lot of focus can make on success. Frankie is very patient with me as I grow into my love for Pilates. This is a commitment I'm making for myself for life - because it's that good. LOVE this studio!"
"The Spot Athletics is in no way your regular gym. If you are looking for a bunch of treadmills and stationary bikes you are not looking at the right place. If you are looking for athletic training and serious about getting into shape then this is the place for you. I'll be 100% honest you will be pushed and you will ache and be sore but the result are worth it. The staff is amazing they truly know what they are doing they will guide you the whole way through on how to properly lift and use the equipment. They stress form not only for results but for safety. Age and current fitness is no excuse I started here at 44 years old and almost 300 lbs and I see clients who are in their 60's and some as young as 8 maybe 9 years old. I have not only witnesses my own transformation but that of many others. If you choose to come to The Spot Athletics you won't regret it however you might be a little sore but hey like they say no pain no gain."
"I hate the gym.It isn't their fault. I just hate working out and being at gyms in general. But, since finding Go Fitness I can at least say that I DO now go to a gym. Memberships run around $40 a month (they have a few options). With a basic membership you get access to tier 1 & 2 classes for free -- think yoga, conditioning aerobics, things like that. You can pay for passes to the tougher classes like spinning. Plus, with each membership you get a free 30 minute session once a month with a trainer to do whatever you'd like. You can have a workout, figure out a nutritional plan with them, get a body measurement & analysis, learn how to properly use foam rollers for stretching, etc. They also offer specials, education sessions and fun activities throughout the month so you can always switch things up and keep it interesting. I started out with a basic membership and still had a tough time motivating myself to go even though the small, casual atmosphere is much less intimidating than one of those big-box gyms. So, I bit the bullet and opted for a Personal Trainer. This definitely multiplies my monthly cost, but it has been well worth it. My trainer is able to keep me accountable and it's perfect for me because I can just mentally black out while I'm there and do whatever he tells me to do. The gym itself is relatively small, with a cardio room (15 machines maybe?), weight/strength training room and a back room that is used for classes but can also be used during off times. But, even on busier days, every time I've been there I've been able to use exactly what I wanted. They even have a little smoothie station at the front desk (I have yet to try).Nothing is shiny or new anymore and admittedly it could use a bit of a deep clean. But, for the first time in my adult life I have found a gym (and a trainer) that keeps me coming back. And that is quite a feat. P.S. If you're interested in joining, go visit before purchasing the Yelp deal. When I joined, their sign-up benefits were better than the Yelp offer and I wasn't able to use both. Luckily Yelp refunded me!"

I'm so happy I found Body Pure Pilates! I am not athletic, I'm not in shape, I can't follow along to any workout-at-home DVD's, I hate exercise classes and I think Cross Fit is dumb (like seriously, who throws weights and grunts? We aren't cavemen.) But after repeatedly being told by my Doctor to try Pilates for my weak pelvic muscles, I decided to do 1 private session (just so my doctor would leave me alone about it) and I totally saw how this was the perfect exercise for someone like me who absolutely hates to exercise but has to do SOMETHING to get stronger. Pilates will kick your butt and make grown men cry. It will also clue you in to your body and teach you all kinds of things about yourself that you didn't know before. Pilates will strengthen your core and more! For me, it's working much better than current physical therapy treatments.

Pros: not a typical gym! A trainer is with you every session. Great workouts. Variety of classes. Several trainers. Knowledgeable staff. Very friendly and down to earth. Affordable. Free 30 day trial! Cons: schedule is wonky. Review: I found this place many months ago and signed up. I loved my 30 day trial, but being a mom of 4, finding a good time to go is super hard. I either have to go at 5am or at 7pm. I have a 10 month old and 3 older kids who are in school. Even if I have someone to stay with the baby in the afternoon, The Spot is closed. There is a large gap of time in the middle of the day that the gym isn't open to the public, which really hurts my ability to go. I am going to suspend my membership because of that reason alone. But if you can make the schedule work, this place is the best I've found!

This gym is the best, absolutely best gym I've ever been a part of.1. It's not Urban Active and isn't filled with pretentious d-bags who spent an hour getting ready to go workout. This gym isn't filled with girls in spandex who did their makeup before hitting the gym. This is real people, doing real work. 2. A monthly personal-training consultation is part of your membership fee. Each month, you can work with a trainer in a wide variety of ways. 3. It's low traffic. Unless you go between 4:30pm & 6p, you're not going to be running into people. It's doesn't feel crowded. 4. Great service. Their staff is always smiling and quick to give some help. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend GO Fitness!

"Finally! A workout I look forward to! All the instructors are very helpful and encouraging. You can modify the exercises to fit you, whether you need to ease up or want to challenge yourself. I've been going here for over a year and don't have one negative thing to say."
