On the porch, inside lounge with new leather chairs, speedy free internet, flatscreens and speakers to play what you want & a private lounge in back with 24/7 access at a reasonable monthly fee. Perfect for those aficionados who can't enjoy inside their homes. Welcoming BYOB policy, clean restrooms, fridge & sink to use. New super efficient, quietly air filtration. Yep, that's what happened to me over the weekend. When I noticed, I did a quick search and discovered Smoke Zone Smoke Shop just up the street from me. Located on the busy corner of High St. and 5th Ave., this smoke shop is currently off the beaten path due to construction, but provides nothing short of helpful, attentive service. Street parking doesn't exist in this area of the Short North right now, but here in a few months it should be available again. Until then, there's a small parking lot across the street, right next to BrewDog. I made the quick trek across the street, dodging construction workers and makeshift ramps to be greeted immediately. At a quick glance, I noticed they had what I needed but I browsed around for a minute too. They really offer everything you need if you're a smoker of any kind. From large glass bongs to vape pens and everything in between (yes, there's a lot in between), they've got it. Their prices are on par with what I've seen at other similar establishments too. I'll definitely be back and I really appreciate how friendly their staff was. Pro tip - they got a stellar check-in offer for a free pack of rolling papers. Just an FYI... you're welcome!"

"I generally stop by here when I happen to be in the area walking around or when I need something specific and this is the closest spot I can think of picking it up. It's near the corner of 5th and High, there's a little bit of street parking out front but I always walk because I'm close.The staff is crazy friendly. They are always quick to help you find what you're looking for or make suggestions. I have my Ohio medical marijuana card and from time to time I need small items like papers or a lighter. Afterall, they are called The Joint. They also have items like incense, pretty sure they have come cbd products, jewelry, and clothing items."

"This little carryout on 5th Avenue is controlled chaos. There's so many different random items in here that it's hard for me to begin to tell you. If you're looking for drinks and snacks, odds are they'll have it, especially some of the weirder ones.The main draw to this place for me is the beer selection. If you're looking for some good craft beers to go, then this place has them scattered all over the place. Don't be alarmed by the front exterior of the building, the guy working the place is very nice and helpful if you're looking for anything in particular. I believe they'd even order some beer in for you if they didn't have it there. The place has beer, wine, and all other types of sub 40 proof alcohol lining the aisles or resting on the floor. Honestly, the store is way too small for the amount of inventory they have, and I'm not even totally sure how the beer is ordered in the layout. It makes it a bit of a guessing game/treasure hunt of finding beers.For those that are unfamiliar with the Dairy Family store, you might recognize it as hosting Junior's Tacos in its parking lot. While I'm not a fan of the taco truck, it seems to be a crowd favorite of Columbus, so even if you can't find what you're looking for at the store, you can at least grab some tacos to go. On the outside this may look like your ordinary convenient store, but its contents may surprise you."

"The ownership at Tobacco International is an amibitious lot, as you'll soon be able to tell after entering the cramped quarters of this 13th Ave. mega-convenience mart. Walk in to the back room, and you'll notice that the contents of the shelves here are constantly in flux, with new brands of energy drinks, beer, energy beers (I don't get it either), snacks, and assorted smokables constantly coming and going. Once you get past that, you'll notice one the handsomest assortments of every Vitamin Water product imaginable this side of Lane Avenue, which is always a clutch find when hungover and wandering to wherever you need to be on campus or off. The walk-in beer cooler has an impressive assortment of cases in many different sizes, which is a much-welcome upgrade over the poorly stocked cooler and the UDF a block away. This is the only place I know of that always has 30 packs of PBR in stock, that's for sure. Tobacco International also has an interesting selection of hookahs and hookah-related accessories, which may or may not come in handy at 12:30 AM on a Wednesday night when you're in need of provisions for an impromptu beer pong session. Good to know it's there, at least. One thing about TI that is usually a bummer is the parking situation, which consists of a public, meter-operated lot that's almost always a complete mess. It's not exactly their fault, but driving here is generally a hit-or-miss affair. Still, this is one of the best places to pick up beer and mixers for a last minute gathering, and the deliver too, which is more than worthy of my glowing endorsement."

There are loads of edibles, other things to try, and various accessories, plus a few decorations. Prices seem reasonable, it's a welcoming place, and there was plenty of free street parking on a weekday."
