"We only had some sashimi because we were restaurant hopping on a Sunday night. It was very good and good choice of sakes as well with knowledgeable servers. Cocktails were decent - service was prompt and friendly. Unique atmosphere (in a good way) - think former high street bar from the 1950s gets converted into a fusion eatery. Kind of cool..."
"Came in on a hoppin Saturday night 10 days before Christmas and the place was packed! If you come on the weekend reservations are probably a good idea. Parking will be hit/miss, you might get somewhere close. You might park 4 blocks away like I had to. The inside has a nice vibe as it's situated in an older building with lots of brick. The place is loud if it's busy so be prepared for that. The food is all really good, from the pho to the rangoons and egg rolls to all the sushi. My only chief complaint and I'm offering grace here because I know it was busy, is that it took a solid 25-30 minutes to get the appetizers after we got our drinks. Otherwise the service was good as well as the food. Check it out!"
"Stopped by Fugu Sushi for to go lunch! It's super affordable, fast and convenient. I got the salmon teriyaki bento box that comes with a miso soup or salad, shumai and a California roll. I also got the 3 sushi roll lunch combo (eel avocado, spicy crunch salmon and shrimp tempura). Both combos were $12.95 each! It only took 15-20 mins to prepare so call ahead and pick up. It's also a great place for dining in alone, with a date or in a group setting. The last time I dined in, we got a sushi boat and some sake. Super affordable as well. The only downside about our last in person visit was that the waitress had chased after us because they forgot to charge a drink on our bill. It was kind of embarrassing so my boyfriend refuses to go back here but for the quality of food and price, it's not a bad deal."
"Sushiko doesn't look like much on the outside but their food is very high quality. Service was prompt and our server went above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted and understood the menu. I had the miso soup which was served hot. I definitely recommend due to the price point and how much you get for the price! In addition, the tuna and avocado hand roll was fantastic - priced below $6 and was very filling. The table shared a big bowl of edamame and hot sake! The server was able to recommend which sake would be best for us to try. Family friendly, clean restaurants and high quality sushi! I will definitely be back!"
"I recommend this place for anyone who loves Sushi. The service is excellent, the sushi is spectacular and you can eat in or go out. The dining area doesn't have much ambience but it doesn't matter because the food is so good! It is family friendly; there is plenty of parking and if you want to grab a bite to eat before or after shopping there is. Fresh Thyme market right next door. I love it here. It's busy. I got here a little after 6 and it was packed."
"The food was awesome. There were many choices. Everyone in our group was pleased with the food. The location was fine. They bring a selection of appetizers with the meal. It's great for browsing small bites, the kimchi was on point and all the others a nice bit of nibbles. This is certainly one of best Korean restaurants in Columbus."
"We ordered a couple of rolls that were really good (can't remember which rolls). I ordered the bento box and was very happy with it. The fried rice was okay. Inside was nice and welcoming! Wait staff were really nice!"
"Awesome sushi! This place is always packed. We get salmon hand rolls. They are full of salmon. Not a couple of small pieces. Totally worth it."
"Had a great meal. I chose shrimp spring rolls and Tom Ka. Very happy with the service for our group of 15. Food was terrific."
"This was my third time here in the past 4-5 years. It was enjoyable every time. The place was pretty empty when we got there, then quickly got packed. They were not ready for the crowd and the service was slow. The food hot was great! My favorite was the Korean spicy chicken, I can't wait to have it again. We also got 2 sushi rolls and a sesame grapefruit gin drink. Pretty nice spot located not far from Pins and Jackie O's."

First time here, the crab Rangoon is really good. The shrimp fried rice is a HUGE flavorless portion.....UGH!! Staff didn't really seem to care if people were there or not. Oh well.

I had been wanting to try this place for some time but hadn't gotten around to it. I am so glad I finally did! We did the hibachi, we really enjoyed everything that we ordered. The miso soup was unlike any miso soup I have had, I usually hate miso soup but this was so good. I ordered the steak and shrimp with fried rice. Everything was cooked perfectly and the portions were huge. I will be back very soon!

Their sushi is absolutely amazing, like some of the best I've had. You gotta try it at least once, seriously. I'm always torn between getting takeout or just eating in, because the atmosphere's really cool too. But yeah, the food's the star of the show. You won't be disappointed.

Delicious. Consistently. Fresh ingredients, great sauces. You'll need a reservation on busy nights like Friday and Saturday. Great sushi, great pho, my favorite curry is the avocado curry. Walnut chicken is wonderful. The strawberry mojito mocktail is so tasty. Nice atmosphere, great for date nights or just meeting friends. Or carry out alone :)

First off this is by far my favorite sushi spot!!!! I'm OBSESSED with there fat lady roll I get that everytime I go the service is great I will say if you go later in the day they get busy so just be aware of that but besides that everything is great. I love how clean it is inside. they make the sushi where you can see it I love that. The spring rolls are good the Japanese chicken is alright I probably wouldn't get it again because of how small the pieces were.

Phenomenal sushi! Fish was very fresh, salmon and maguro melt in your mouth. I had chirashi, my husband had a dragon roll, a spicy tuna roll, and a couple of pieces of sashimi. Sashimi was sliced very thick, and looked incredible. He also said the rolls were exceptional, the tempura shrimp inside the dragon roll was some of the biggest I've seen and you could tell they were freshly made. My chirashi was excellent as well, all fish tasted fresh and were flavorful. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Overall a great meal on a cold evening! Will definitely be back.

I was excited to try this place, as I've heard good things! It's slightly pricey, but the lunch menu is pretty good. We got the three sushi combo with California roll, spicy tuna, and salmon roll. It was pretty good, fairly plain tasting. The green tea was the same, kind of bland. And the fried dumplings were great! Highly recommend the dumplings. The server never came back after giving us our food. Another server came over with the check, so that was weird. I would say I was underwhelmed with the service but would like to try their food again. Oh, and the salad was gross. Iceberg with a dressing that didn't even look appetizing. It was chunky.

The restaurant is tucked back with a welcoming sign. The environment is very cozy, with decorations and nice lighting. The food is incredible and they have a vast menu for all your Korean favorites. Their side dishes are always fresh and in season. What truly makes this place special is the owner. She is so kind and loving. The food is great but I keep coming back for her!

"My husband and I frequent this place a lot. I am an absolute fan of their sushi lunch combo. You get the option of two or three rolls plus soup at a very reasonable price. This place is worth checking out if you're craving sushi. Although it's not "omg" level, it is still pretty tasty. We first discovered it during COVID times, and their dining room was closed, so we've only ever had it as take out. I think they finally opened up their dining room though."
"Fast, friendly and tons to choose from!Sushi En was a welcome haven during our very rainy drive north for the Thanksgiving holiday. We were seated right away in a cozy corner, and experienced fast friendly service throughout. If you want sushi, ordering is as simple as marking up the menu with the provided dry erase marker--genius!We enjoyed the tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, spider roll and cherry blossom roll. The latter two were a bit unwieldy in size but tasty nonetheless. The first three rolls were pretty standard, while the cherry blossom is something I haven't seen before. Looking back at the menu now I see that the crab on top was meant to be spicy, which it really wasn't, but it was a nice addition nonetheless. Everything that fell off the roll was just like a free extra snack."
"Been so very long since I had been here. So very pleased. First time I actually sat down here and ate. Before I was always in a hurry then there was the pandemic so I got take out only before. I had a wonderful server. I came during lunchtime and got their two sushi rolls with salad special. There were so good, I'm going to have to get their 3 rolls with salad lunch special. I ordered their California Roll and Shrimp Tempura roll. My two favorites. Atmosphere was very inviting and I found it also soothing. Both rolls were so delicious and flavorful. I will return for sure!"
"Wonderful place to get sushi. Service is top notch. Very casual relaxing atmosphere . Highly recommend ."
"Absolute family favorite sushi spot. Yes, they are incredibly short-staffed, so be patient & kind. The food is worth the wait! The ambiance is beautiful inside, perfect for a date night. They do have two larger dining areas in the back, and, a sunken in dining room as well (you have to call and reserve well in advance, though). Sometimes when it's a date we enjoy sitting at the bar, too, watching them prepare is cool to see."
"Best Sushi in Columbus! Small family atmosphere inside. Staff are friendly and attentive."
"While visiting my daughter in Dublin, Ohio, I stopped by the Blue Ginger restaurant for lunch while she was working that day. It is featured as an asian fushion culinary experience. The menu certainly reflects that concept. Chinese ,Thai, Japanese and Indonesian dishes stood out to me on the menu.I opted for a dish called Sambal Samba. What stood out in the dish was the use of Indonesian spices which include: turmeric, white pepper, lemon grass, ginger and Java tamarind. The dish had chicken, carrots, onions, mushrooms, jicama, eggplant, basil with a sauce that was flavored with Indonesian spices. It came with a choice of white,, brown or fried rice. You also had a choice of hot and sour or Miso soup. I chose the Miso soup. The lunch cost $10.99. I also had a cocktail called the Crouching Tiger ($7).I enjoy trying new foods and this was not a disappointment. The service was quick and efficent, the ingredients were fresh and the flavors were delicious. I had the Jasmine tea ($2.99) with my meal but felt that it was not flavorable enough so I took a star off. Additionally, the eating area was too dark for me. The wood for the tables and benches were dark and the lighting was dim. Parking was adequate in this strip mall. If you pay in cash there is a 10% discount on the entire bill."
"The service was exceptional as soon as we walked in friendly, inviting and just felt welcome by friendly faces. I'm so glad they brought back the half off sushi rolls at one point they did remove that special but now it's back. The food is always delicious and it didn't take at all to get our rolls. The waitress was really nice and was very attentive. The restaurant has a nice calming and laid back feeling. This has turned out to be my go to sushi spot."
"I've been to the other locations, so I knew this would be good, but it's a bit out of my way. Stopped in today, right when they opened. I've had their entrées mainly, so I thought I'd try some sushi. Started out with the Fantasy Island, which is pretty much a deconstructed crab Rangoon. Tempura crab around a center of cream cheese, with sauces and scallions on top. Amazing. Perfect blend of flavors and textures. Tiny bit of heat at the end. Very nice appetizer. Then I had the super scallop roll, and the sweetheart roll. I was a little embarrassed by the sweetheart roll, with pink wrapping and arranged as hearts, and even served with a small flower display. But I liked the description, and I like crab but have never had crab tempura, so I had to try it. Again, excellent. Beautifully plated. A great combination of different flavors and textures. The crab tempura was kind of hidden with everything else going on, but it was very tender and tasty. The rolls held together well. The scallop rolls were a bit more messy. Scallops and I don't know what all in the roll, with tiny, tender baked scallops in a creamy sauce on top. Ended up using the fork to pick up some scallops that fell off the top, and some of the sauce. Again, well made, and a nice combination of flavors. Service was great. It's expensive, but it's sushi, and for what I got it was well worth it for the quality and quality. I'll be back, to all of the locations eventually."
"We decided to dine here one night after I got a sudden craving for sweet potato sushi (it's a constant craving!). We love the atmosphere of this sushi bar and the vegetarian sushi options. Sushi: Buddha's roll, OHIO roll, Mamenori rollThe sushi was delicious! I mainly eat vegetarian sushi, but my wife order the Mamenori roll. She loved it, but picked off the eel. She was not a huge fan of the texture. The OHIO roll and Buddha's roll were both amazing! The OHIO roll is deep fried with walnut panko and comes with sweet sauce. I have never had a sweet potato roll like this before, but I can say 100% that it was absolutely delicious! The Buddha's roll is pretty hard to mess up. Sweet peanuts and avocado are always great! We also ordered Chicken Pad Thai and Moshi Asian Pockets. Both were very good! The Chicken Pad Thai has ALOT of onion, so be aware of that when ordering. By the time we were finished with the sushi we really didn't have much room for anything else! This was great heated up the next day. My wife loved the Moshi Asian Pockets and had no complaints about them! The waitress was very attentive and kind! We will definitely be back again!"
"I know we have food snobs in town, so I'll start with this:Yes, I am SURE that your favorite sushi place does it better.Happy? Okay.I've been here once so far, and I want to come back. In terms of service, after being sat (and it being the first time) a guy stopped by and explained the process. As an American White Dude™ it feels very Japanese, in the whole "music playing, bright colors, anime on the wall." Which I dig, because I'm also a nerd that loves this shit.** How busy are they? **I've heard the stories - hour upon hour waits on the weekend/evenings. DOWNLOAD THE APP - it has live wait times and you can join the waitlist via the app! I didn't do this, because I had a meeting at 12:30, so I got there at 11am to be the first person in - literally one other car rolled in at that time, and by the time I left at noon - the wait was three minutes and it was still fairly empty).** How to survive your experience: **1. See a plate you want? Lift the plate and the lid will open and you pull it out. Each plate is $3.95 (I think? Less than $4 at lunch when I went).2. Done eating? Slide the plate into the receiver.3. Drinks are ordered via touch screen/app and delivered via robot.4. Since the robot is not 21, a person has to bring alcohol.5. Do not put the bowls/other dishes/trash into the slot. They have a menu above you that has other dishes (think teriyaki chicken, nigiri, salads, soups or if you want a particular dish that the conveyor keeps reaching you empty - you can order it).Every 15 plates inserted, you get a "prize" (and every five plates, it plays a little video clip). So the umami oil/garlic dishes were my favorite - SO GOOD. But I didn't have a bad taste out of everything (note: I do not eat crab/octopus/squid, crab because, gross, octopus/squid because they're the cats of the sea, so I'm eating one less thing get off my back I don't care if you eat it geeze)They have something for everyone. DOWNLOAD THE APP. Get points. Get discounts. And then you can join the waitlist and not ponder wait times! It's worth going once for the experience, but it's good enough (and enough variety) that it's worth coming back again!"
"I stopped in today for lunch and had the three roll lunch combo with the standard ginger salad. I had the spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and avocado eel rolls. It hit the spot but wasn't excellent . I have an admittedly high bar for sushi.I'll be back when I need sushi in a pinch but it isn't date night material."
"Our family likes going to hibachi for special celebrations and we found ourselves at House of Japan for my brother's birthday last evening. All entrees include the mushroom soup, bacon salad and a shrimp appetizers. The chefs provide an interactive show but unfortunately due to their insurance they can no longer do the flamin' onion volcanoes. It still is fun to watch despite! Food is delicious and always huge portions with enough to take home. If you get any type of seafood make sure to get the egg yolk sauce--it's like hollandaise--and super yum. Prepare yourself for a pricey bill but for a special occasion it's worth it!"
"We've tried many Chinese restaurants in Columbus and finally found this hidden gem. It's hands down the best Chinese spot on our list. We've only ordered takeout multiple times, and the food, service, and atmosphere are phenomenal."
"We enjoy eating here!!! It's right on the square in Medina!!! Our food is always excellent! And of course, we love Dino!!!! He's the manager and he always takes good care of us!!! We love the spicy shrimp salad, the pot stickers, egg rolls and chicken wraps!!! Great appetizers!!! We also love the Peach Schnapps chicken with crunchy rice!!! Yummy!!! My date likes house Chou Fun noodles!!! One of my favorite places!!!!"
"Best soba noodles and srimp topora. The service is so nice this one lady always service me is just the sweetest."
"Our first time at Sapporo and we loved it! Located in the Giant Eagle strip mall off of State & Maxtown next to Game Stop & Classic Pizza. It's a nice, casual atmosphere and service was good. I ordered a small hot sake ($5.85) which was very good and more than enough. My husband and I ordered a Sapporo Roll ($15.95), Smoky Mountain Roll ($14.95), and Karma Roll ($7.95) to share. They were beautifully prepared and presented. Everything was so delicious. There were many items on the menu we were interested in trying. We'll definitely return!"
"i actually enjoyed the vegetarian sushi! i don't have much sushi experience to compare it to, but it was yummy. the crab rangoon was so good too! the service was good and they gave us extra sweet chili sauce which i appreciate cause nom nom. i think the only thing i'd change is the vegetarian sushi prices for how much u get, but the quality is good and hit hard. good for around campus sushi."
"I had an absolutely random experience here with friends, but it was fun!We were in the area with the goal of dining at a different restaurant nearby. Unfortunately we didn't have a reservation and the wait was going to be about an hour. Instead of sticking around, we whipped open our Yelp apps and found this Japanese steakhouse across the street. Their Yelp rating wasn't bad and it had been forever since any of us had been to a Japanese steakhouse so we headed there ASAP. We arrived, were greeted right away, and taken back to a table immediately. Our waters were out in an instant and I also ordered a plum wine, my guilty pleasure when dining in this environment. As for food, I ordered the shrimp Hibachi which also came with soup, salad, and two shrimps as an appetizer. As we waited for our chef to get ready, our table filled up to just the right amount of people. While our table was more on the quiet side, we made the most of it and our chef read the room (well, table, lol), really well. He didn't do much of the fun jazzy stuff you expect from a Japanese steakhouse but it was fine. I pretty much ate every bite of everything that was placed in front of me. I was really hungry, but more importantly, it was good eats. Fun fact: They also have sushi on the menu. My friend ordered a roll and enjoyed it. They also have pretty darn good lunch specials."
"The best quality sushi I've had in Ohio to date. Our server David was excellent. I highly recommend and we will be back!"
"Peony is one of my favorite restaurants! We eat here all the time. My boyfriend eats here pretty much weekly. The sushi is always fresh and delicious!! Love the soup!"
"Went into Oishii as we were in the area. We used to come here when it was Jeni's many times, so it was nice to see they nicely renovated it to have more seating space. We got the rock shrimp and scallion pancakes for appetizers. The rock shrimp was our favorite. We loved the sauce, but wish there was more of it on the shrimp. The scallion pancakes were good, it was like an Indian paratha and came with a tamarind sauce. We ordered a roll and chicken hibachi to share as our entrees. The kiss of fire roll was not that spicy. We liked it, but not our favorite. The hibachi we thought was good, but would have liked a little more sauce. Overall a nice place, but took a star off because the service was not up to par that day. We had to flag down our server to get plates, straws, and water refills. There was not that many people at the time we went for an early dinner, so that was a bit disappointing."
"None of the food we ordered was particularly flavorful. We got the sweet & sour chicken & general Tso's. The sweet and sour sauce was super liquidity and not sweet at all. The chicken was heavily battered, but the meat was good and cooked well. All and all not bad, but lacking flavor. The general tso's was okay, but again not a lot of flavor. I will try this place again because nothing was bad, but would try something else."
