"We arrived after seeing the big balloon archway. Having been open 3 hours they sure have things well on the way to being a staple in the Mexican food restaurants. The food is fantastic. Chips and salsa very good; very fresh salsa with good flavor. The menu is not overwhelming but a nice variety. We will be back for sure and I suggest that you give it a try too. Great job on opening day. Congratulations!"
"Located in a strip mall, I was pleasantly surprised at the interior of this restaurant. The room was very large and inviting with a huge bar, around 20 TVs, and a live seafood tank.Coming on a Friday just before the lunch specials were to end, I was handed a humongous menu with pages and pages of offerings. I finally found the lunch specials, but choked on the pricey choices: $18, $25, and something else in the $30's range.I ordered the fried clam strips basket with sweet potato waffle fries: $12.95. My server, Allie was attentive, even bringing me a water with lemon while I took a peek at the fish tanks. Allie also brought me some containers of tarter sauce for the clams and ketchup for the fries, and a little something else: warm caramel sauce which she recommended that it goes well with the sweet potatoes. Yes! It was good!My meal was more than enough, and I took home what would turn out to be another meal, so yay!"

"Every time I've been to this restaurant the food has been great. Wish it wasn't in the dungeon though!"
"Fantastic unique Mexican food that's unbelievably cheap! A fantastic sports bar. They even have a giant mural of Joe Burrow! Off the TV is including 120 inch 4 up screen."
"My wife and I needed a getaway! For a change we opted to sit at the bar. The bartender did not seem fully at ease, and I must say I never recalled anyone eating at the bar during our previous visits. That said, it was still a good overall experience! We started with adult beverages, a Manhattan for me and a Whisky Sour for my wife. Sitting at the bar, it's nice to watch the preparation. My wife really enjoyed her beverage and mine was pretty good. I only needed to remind the bartender to add bitters to my Manhattan. Unfortunately they did not have Angostura Bitters, only Orange. Oh well. We did not order any appetizers. My wife decided on their Chicken Strips with a Spinach Salad and Curled French Fries while I opted for their Fried Shrimp and Scallops, Rice Pilaf, and French Onion Soup. The soup was served along with my wife's salad. I thought the soup was very delicious! My wife's salad was fresh and the warm bacon dressing flavorful. Our main courses came out after we were finished with the firsts. My wife's chicken strips had a light cornmeal breading and the fries were really thick. My scallops and shrimp were fairly large with the same cornmeal breading. Very delicious! Overall a pretty good visit. We arrived about 1645 and departed about an hour later without seeing anyone else come in?"
"A local gem - after multiple.trips I'm always impressed with the service and how helpful they are. Often giving samples of tea, coffee. Great unique dishes. Watch out for the peppers they are sneaky spicy!"
"Despite being off the beaten track, this place has great seafood and steaks and a nice salad bar, with AMAZING butter!! Trust me. Get the butter Portions are big, prices are small. They don't take reservations so don't try. Either show up at 5 or expect to wait. The service is very good/great. But they're not a corporate trained perfect force. They're humans working their tail off in a busy restaurant. Highly recommend!"
"My in-laws live in Urbana and we asked them if they'd like to have an early dinner. There is such a lack of restaurants in this small town. Literally there's this place, another Mexican restaurant down the road and 'The Farmers daughter" are pretty much all this small town has, except there are several fast food places being most of the choices. I think there might be a "sit down restaurant" downtown but parking is difficult there.So... I didn't take pictures but our food was wonderful! The service was great, and our server was pleasant, on task for any needs at the table and food was priced reasonably. 5 adults with full meals was approximately $75. We had huge portions that only my husband and his dad were able to finish. Compared to Mexican restaurants in nearby towns they are mediocre compared to what we had today. Definitely will be back!"
"Went here on a weekday night. My family had gone twice before, but this was my first time. Be warned there isn't much for a vegetarian and nothing for a vegan, but it's a steakhouse so no surprise there. The normal dinners on the back of the menu are served with salad, rolls with honey butter, and a choice of potato. I had a portobello mushroom sandwhich with mushrooms, but stole some salad and bread from my family. Be aware the salad comes with bacon normally. The sandwhich and fries needed some seasoning in my opinion. I ended up taking half home so I'll try playing around with seasoning on the burger. The fries had some seasoning, but not much. My family liked their steak and potatoes. One liked his portobello chicken while another felt his was very chewy and rubbery so he didn't finish it. The decor is kind of like a bar, and there is an actual bar as well. Servoce was good with a friendly server, good times, and lots of parking. Overall it was a nice night out."
"I recently ordered from High Eats, and it exceeded all my expectations! I got the mix over rice, which included chicken, lamb, rice, pita, and tzatziki sauce, and it was absolutely amazing. It's the closest thing to authentic NY chicken and rice I've found in Columbus, and it's officially my favorite spot in town.I also ordered the kids' chicken and rice with French fries (no sauce), and it was a hit. The food arrived on time, was hot, and every bite was flavorful and fresh. If you're looking for delicious, hearty meals with that classic NY street food vibe, High Eats is the place to go. I'll definitely be ordering from here again!"
"Was so good! Perfect spot just off the highway. Good food, tasty margaritas. Had mariacos primavera, perfect flavors. Wide range of prices. Kind service. Quick. Super good. Nicely done Garcias!!"
"Absolutely amazing!Must try see pictures Love the perch and catfish Get the sweet potato pie!"

Food was pretty good. Great atmosphere but this chips and salsa were underwhelming. Rice and beans were good but the carnitas were a little dry.

Pleasantly surprised! We will definitely be retuning and brining people with us next time. Really good service and delicious food. Sushi was fresh, ramen was hot and tasty, appetizers were good, seafood boil was perfect. I have no complaints at all. Nice inside with friendly staff.

I was with a colleague who has been a regular at this venue for many years. This was once an old jail. I actually met someone who remembers visiting the jail back in the '60's to sing to the inmates. It's been long converted to a restaurant. They also have a sister tavern next door which has outdoor seating and serves mainly bar food. We went downstairs to their bar where we ate and met up with my colleague's friendly waitress-- Carol. Our barmaid was Rachel. The 2 were fabulous for conversation and great pours on our drinks. My colleague ordered the Ribeye steak which he said was one of the best he'd had in a long time. Of the non steak items, Rachel suggested I order the salmon. I'm glad I did. It was also one of the best I'd had. Moist, tender and perfectly glazed. After dinner, we wandered upstairs where they have additional seating and banquet rooms. We also stumbled upon their bourbon bar. There's probably a story to that, but that's for another time. I'll be back on my return visit.

First time eating African food. The owner was very patient , and helpful . I chose Thiebou, similar to fried rice, with a piece of chicken on top. I loved it, and loved me experience at Senetaste. I will definitely be back!

1st time and if I lived in the area we would be going back regularly. But the family does. The location is clean and bright and service could not have been better. But that's not why you're here, is it? My granddaughter has the street tacos and they looked great. And she said they were. She's been here before. I had the shrimp diablo, excellent. Very spicy and not overwhelming. But for those who don't like heat STAY AWAY. Go. You'll like it.

"This is one of me and my husband's favorite date night spots. Its very lively at night! Lot's of music playing and a dancing robot and other entertainment. It is very loud at night just a head's up! It did take us by surprise our first visit. The service depend's on the time of day. If you go during the day your server will just do that serve you your food. They don't chat you up. But you are there for the food so that's ok! During the late evening and night time the server's are more hype asking you what you would like drink to night and recommending drink's and wanting you to have a good time. The food is alway's good. They do have a fine print on the menu that "if you do not like your meal or you pick the wrong meal they will not take it back or refund you" i ordered the birria quesadillas which was amazing so i didn't have a issue with needed something else. I did feel there wasn't enough rice but the quesadilla's are so filling that i can never finish the whole meal anyway's. The salsa here is my favorite salsa a perfect balance of heat and sweet."
"So let me start off by saying that the guy at the counter was very friendly and attentive. One star for that. I have tried many of the other chicken and fish places on the east side of Columbus and this one, being the closest to where I currently live became the choice for tonight because we have the snow storm rolling in and the roads are getting icy. Wanted to stick with something close by and something I hadn't tried before. I really liked a couple of the other places that were a little farther away. I was hoping this would be comparable or perhaps even better.Unfortunately, I was very underwhelmed overall. The fries were pretty bland and most of them were far too crunchy because they were edges or butts of the potatoes. I got the combo that also included chicken tenders and whiting. The whiting had the skin on and it was very chewy both on the skin side and the other side surprisingly. Didn't have a ton of flavor or a lot of crunch in the breading either. The chicken, well having decent flavor, had a strange kind of chewy texture that made it hard to bite into or chew up at all. One piece was okay, the other two were almost inedible. I didn't even want my dog to eat them. As I'm writing this, I'm kind of wondering why I gave it two stars and not just one. I think just because the guy was friendly and it wasn't completely inedible. Needless to say though, I will stick with J. Peppers or Mr. Chicken and Fish from now on."
"Great food! Stopped on our way through town, and loved the place! Had catfish, ribs, and kids had chicken. The ribs were really good, had a great flavorful BBQ sauce. But by far George's catfish is some of the best fish I've ever had!The Lord truly blessed his hand at cooking. Very nice restaurant, very friendly staff. Will be stopping again.I was blessed by your testimony George, keep letting the Lord work through you."
"Delicious! Four of us all ordered different dishes, and all of us loved our food. Tandoori fish, lamb Rogan Josh, chicken tikka masala and baingan Bhartha were so flavorful. The service was quick and attentive, and the restaurant is decorated with white tablecloths and modern wood or metal accents. I highly recommend giving this new place a try!"
"They do a very nice fried Perch sandwich here. One piece of fish on a soft fresh hoagie roll with tartar sauce, lettuce, tomato, onions, and pepper rings. I bought some potato chips to go with it. Great lunch!"
"I visit Akron often to hang with my brother. He picked this place because it is a go to for a neural friend. She is vegetarian and gets the veggie past dish - huge portions! Huge! So let's go...Prices are decent for the portion sizes, come on they are huge. Pasta, ribs and chicken dishes are the winners. The side veggie egg rolls not so much. Don't order them if you are expecting $15 egg rolls because that is not what you will get. The bread is fresh and warm, so good! The oil dipping sauce is tasty as well. The service was great, very attentive. The mixed cocktails were excellent. When you think golf course, you have to remember this is Akron and this place is on the edge of a neighborhood. It was nice enough for the enjoyable dinner we had for decent prices. Again the service was on point and the cocktails rocked. Bonus for having vegetarian options. I look forward to returning and enjoying the patio that over looks the golf course. They also set up a few weekly events so be prepared to see an artist preform on a random night."
"This was fabulous. I cant believe how much good lobster meat they stuff in that bun. The line was long but gave me the opportunity to meet new friends and boy once I got my food, it was tasting pure heaven. I will be craving this in years to come, I just know it. And the lobstah truck people were entertaining and hilarious besides knowing how to dish up some damn good lobster. Come to Cleveland area, I beg you!!!"
"Best Barbecue in Columbus hands down . Service is superb. Price is very reasonable for the portions"
"The Barn doesn't disappoint. My partner's prime rib was perfection, as expected. I was really in a mood for fish and the walleye called to me. I was assured the fish was very fresh, so I went for it and it was great -- not greasy and perfectly seasoned. Yum! Our server was very personable and helpful. We had a lovely meal!"
"This restaurante Mexicano off the St. Rt 62 strip is en fuego serving its authentic fare in a comfy, upscale suave. The second store spun off the casa madre in New Albany, it occupies the space of a former Panera, leveling up the environment to a romantic sleek with perfect ambient lighting, clean booths, and a rustic patio. Plastic vines drape the dinning room like MC's Ling Ling. Latino music filled the air in various South American styles at perfect volume. The bar is specially impressive: a wide and long bottom-lit span of earthy crème and white suggesting the colors of the Mexican desert where the Blue Agave grows, the succulent from which tequila is fermented. We came on a noon Thursday after my girlfriend was stressing and needed an escape. We were greeted by a very friendly staff and selected the eye candy of the bar to sit. TV screens above, high-end bottles glistering from the chandeliers behind, and a wall of wine closed off the world and created the sanctuary for which we had searched. The food did not disappoint. Choosing from the lunch menu (served 11:00AM - 3:00PM) I selected Enchiladas Verdes: chicken filled with green tomatillo and sauce--I sensed serrano, garlic, and cilantro--with fried rice as a side ($10.49). This was superb. It tasted so rich and expertly made with the perfect spice balance for my palate. My g/f selected the Speedy Gonzales ($10.49). Named after the classic WB cartoon mouse, it comprises of a taco, a enchilada with two sides--she picked beans. She downed the combo with a fresh Margarita which she flipped for. The menu is worth a check. It has all the Mexican fare. The service is is superb, on-point. The salsa nd chips are plentiful--and the mild spice they gracefully got us was the tops. I recommend this place for a classy lunch or date night. It is the tops."
"So, stop waiting until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until winter, until your song comes on, until you've had a drink.... there is no better time than right now to be happy."
"This place is authentic, food was great. Their chips were super good, salsa was ok.I got the chille relleno (pablano petter stuffed with chorizo). It was huge! But very tasty and seemed fresh. My husband had three enchiladas and ate it all. They also had a la carte tacos and everything was reasonably priced."
"Absolutely one of the best sushi places around. Definitely worth the drive from Charleston or Parkersburg."
"This place was great. Seated on the patio and ordered and received food in less than 25 minutes. My husband had the chicken fajita and i had the vegetarian quesadilla with a side of rajas poblanas (surprisingly tasty-like a cuppa soup). Both our dinners were good. We will definitely be back."
"In my neighborhood, there are many local kitchens that have been around for years. Specifically, Amina's Fish has been a staple in the Mount Vernon area.I ordered the catfish dinner (Mac & Cheese and Cabbage/Greens Mix), hush puppies, and fried okra. The food was amazing! I had a pleasure of supporting a local business that has done amazing during COVID-19."
"Had a private room reserved. Met with family and shared a great meal and great conversations! The staff was on par with anything we needed. Everything was wonderful! Looking forward to going back when we're in the area again!"
"Food and service excellent. So far everything we've had here has been delicious and prepared perfectly. Coconut shrimp, quesadillas, burgers and fries all wonderful and very reasonably priced."
"A local friend took me to this restaurant and was worth the visit. The service was quick and friendly in greeting and serving us. With a large menu, these was no problem making a selection. The beer was cold and the location had the feeling of Mexico with its decor. I recommend and would return in the future. Enjoy!"
"Our first time here and I doubt we return. Access was a slight problem as I an in a wheelchair and there was no lowered curb for access. The restaurant itself was quite pleasant and seating was great. Chips came right away as did our drink order. The chips were cold and hard with a strange aftertaste...day or two old maybe. Then my chile Rellenos appeared. They looked like no rellenos I had ever seen before. Large black/burnt green pepper sized things filled with about a cup of stringy, gloppy cheese and tiny bit/sliver of chicken. First bite was horrible and tasted like no rellenos I had ever eaten before... bitter and hideously fiery and unpleasant. I've had many rellenos before but none this inedible.the rice was cold as were the very watery beans. An unfortunate experience."
"You'll pay $25-$50 per person. The sashimi catch of the day is a winnerIf you're doing sushi, try the Akai Hana Roll. The dining room has become stale and costs have skyrocketed. The great service and their quality keep them at 4 stars. Don't get too greedy! 06/24"
"This restaurant was really pretty on the inside with a large fish tank and beautiful lights. The smell of the hot pots was absolutely incredible but I was on a mission for some dim sum, and that's what we got. It was a family affair so our choices were definitely impacted by whether or not our six year old would be into them. We got a couple kinds of pork buns, one fried and one steamed (the fried ones were chewy like mochi but crisp on the outside), an order of the siu mai, scallion pancake, a shrimp/pork bun and then a pig shaped steam bun filled with coconut for like, dessert I guess lolDon't miss their sauce bar omg, especially their house blend. It's one of the tastiest dipping sauces I've encountered in a minute. But let me tell you, I'm already planning my next visit to do the whole hot pot deal because again, the SMELL it haunts meAlso our server was an absolute delight, she was so precious and totally helped me steer my kid away from a boba drink in total parent solidarity (high five, fellow mom). We loved her. And I think we met the owners as we were leaving, since my kiddo had to check out the fish tank again, and they seemed darling too. 10/10, will be back!!"
"It's pretty rare that I don't check Yelp before going to a restaurant, but this time it just worked out that way. I had the Tres Marias (3 different enchiladas with rice and veggies). Solid 4 stars Hubby, who CRAVES the spice, cried his way through the Diablo Fire Habanero tacos (3 different flavors). Solid 4 stars Overall, I'd come back and try again. It wasn't anything to write home about, but a decent meal nonetheless."
"An adorable place filled with evidence of history. History of architecture, decor, menu and importance. The sidewalk seating was picturesque and relatively cool on a very hot summer evening. We opted-out from inside dining ... the seated clientele felt territorial almost, like it was "their" dining spot and we were exposed as tourists. The staff is very properly uniformed and well trained though, in our case, still green. We were not offered bread as the other tables were and my request for a second glass of wine went unanswered for so long I finally canceled it and asked for the check instead. Trip to the restroom was interesting... nice decor once inside but the hall was quite cluttered with boxes and equipment and felt dingy. The food was okay. Three out of four dishes were labeled as such and I had two apps both very simple and easy to prepare, each however, felt lacking in one way or another. Prices were appropriate, thankfully, and all in all it was a nice experience but we felt an overwhelming sense that the potential wow remained deliberately hidden."
