"The food was excellent. We had the burger and steak, both cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The service was not only friendly but also impressively quick. The restaurant's ambiance added to the overall enjoyable experience."
"We managed to slip in on the Eve of NYE. No small task. I think they are just crowded every night they are open. Monday is $1 oysters. Now that's a sweet promotion (if you like that sort of thing). Our four top ordered a dozen. They were very nice sized, meaty, and came with two excellent dips. I'll come back just for that promotion!Cocktails are well prepared and inventive. I opted for a rye OF. It was excellent. I actually ordered two. Service was impeccable. So nice to see. Menu is tight. Our four top had two dinners, fish sandwich, and a pizza. Each were excellent. You can't go wrong. Great experience all around. We will surely return. (Just don't call me Shirley)."

"Wow! Ordered on DoorDash and was so pleased. Got the "create your own poke bowl" and customized with poke, salmon, cucumber, carrot, mango, onions, avocado, spicy crab salad, wasabi aioli and sweet soy. Half rice half salad on the bottom. We also ordered the spam musibi (YUM), spicy edamame, and Kani salad. So blown away with the quality. Definitely ordering again."
"I did a carry out order and the ambiance of this place was cool. It's a Greek theme however, this place was great! I ordered Greek fries and they were delicious however, I can't speak for anything else. Also the service was pretty great. The cashier was nice and personable. and the food was ready really fast."
"Okay it's in a strip mall. Not a very glamorous one at that. No matter. Never judge a book by its cover. Tuesday is fishalicious Tuesday. That's a two piece fish basket and drink for only $7.50. It's a family run...counter (if you will), but, they embrace you into their family from that point on. Go sit down. They'll bring lunch to you!My fish and shrimp came with two hush puppies and chips. For the table we had an assortment ranging from Mac n cheese to Cole slaw to baked beans. I love the bread crumbs on top of the Mac. They also use two cheeses and it turned out super creamy and delish! My very favourite is the smelt basket.I'm not a fan of the chili. Too spicy. Decent tasting other than that. My friend Roger ordered a chili dog that looked like the dog was out in the sun for a decade. Cost wise this is the best family deal for fish baskets in our area. It's a friendly, family atmosphere and very clean. We spoke with Kate (I believe) and learned much more about their practices and how much is home made and how. Definitely return visits for us. 09/24"
"Had a great meal. I chose shrimp spring rolls and Tom Ka. Very happy with the service for our group of 15. Food was terrific."
"The restaurant sits right on the river and there is a nice view from the patio. Service was prompt and efficient and staff were very friendly. We ordered the prime rib special and the portions were very generous and the food was cooked perfectly."
"Best Barbecue in Columbus hands down . Service is superb. Price is very reasonable for the portions"
"Overall nice place. Great ambiance, fantastic wine list!!!Cauliflower wings were not cooked through-- raw batter in the middle. Smaller pieces would likely be cooked more thoroughly. Sauce was great. I liked their homemade ranch with them better than the blue cheese. Harvest salad was flavorful. However when I order a " mixed greens" salad I don't expect it to be 90% romaine, which I don't care for, hence why I order mixed greens salads. Otherwise would've been five starsChicken for salad could've been trimmed prior to cooking. Fat on the edge and the center weird part. Or offer the salad without meat and price as an add on. Guest had the Reuben and he said it was great. It looked well-made to me. Hostess, wait staff, service excellent. **Overall definitely worthy of visiting and likely revisiting. Decorated nicely for the holidays too!!**"
"Can you say "muy ocupada los fines de semana?" Very busy on the weekend!!! Our waiter was nice and hooked us up with a free birthday treat. Other than that, he was super busy with other tables and not around-which was fine since we were ok with our food and drinks the entire meal. Nina got a free fried ice cream and they sang happy birthday, which was super nice. Food was exactly what you would expect at Americanized Mexican restaurants, very good, not great. Decor was pretty much the same festive style as well. As this was the closest restaurant to our hotel, the first night it made sense to walk and eat here. I would recommend doing the same if you're staying close by. PS. they have happy hour until 8 but the drinks are only about 50 cents off."
"Very unassuming spot. Interior is very Bavarian, all wood everything lol. The menu is fantastic. We started with the lamb nachos, hear me out: lamb meat and a curry sauce atop pita chips. Then for my meal I had the scallops appetizer, garnished elegantly and the house salad. You can tell their lemon basil vinaigrette is made in house. Others at the table had the hot honey salmon, chicken parm and the blackened swordfish. Everyone loved their dishes. I want to try everything they have!"
"Wow, what an incredible place. We were warmly greeted by Marianne, the founder's daughter. The food was outstanding. We chatted a bit with Marianne and her husband (thought his name was Steve but I could be wrong) about the history of TAT as well as other Italian restaurants in the city. They couldn't have been more hospitable and welcoming. I grew up in Columbus but moved away for 30 years until returning in 1990. I've read many reviews about this place but never bothered to go. I had the veal piccata and homemade linguine with their signature sauce. My girlfriend had the Zita alla Sicilian which she loved. The carrot cake was awesome. We'll definitely return!"

So, stop waiting until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until winter, until your song comes on, until you've had a drink.... there is no better time than right now to be happy.

South Village Grill gave us a majestic pizza that looked like it came straight out of an oven in Naples! It tasted as good as it looked ....it was a showstopper. My vote for best pizza in Columbus. I don't think my description could do it justice, but here goes. The crust had great chew and texture. The bake on it was perfect and it had nice air bubbles. The sauce was slightly sweet and they used lots of creamy buffalo mozzarella which really kicked it up a notch. The pepperoni was crispy and had great char. I suggest ordering two pizzas. 1. because they are not huge and serve two people max. 2. you will want more after you finish the first one.

I have been to this restaurant 3 times and I'm always satisfied with great customer service and food. When I walk in it feels like home. The environment is very clean and nice. One of my favorite festivals that I use to go to is called "The Greek Festival". I went every year for 5-6 years in Dayton , Ohio. I love the culture and their food. Since I moved down here I have not found a Greek restaurant until I ran into "The Mad Greek". I really enjoy the Greek salad . Many people may say that the Cesar Salad is the best well that's only because they probably never had a Greek Salad . I love it plain or with lamb meat. It fills me up and keeps me wanting more. I also enjoyed their cheesecake and my children love their strawberry cake. Great food and great people. They even gave me and my boys the extra desert with white sugar on top for free which I enjoyed.OPA. Thank you for the wonderful food. Before I leave I will differently will have to try the lamb shank. Blessings.

I have been reading great things for weeks now about Rusty's Wharf on Columbus Foodies. I mentioned it today to my husband & we made an impromptu trip to Pataskala. It was so worth it!We are a family of 4. Three of us got the large fish baskets & my youngest got the chicken tender basket. Plus we added a side of slaw and a side of mac & cheese. Everything was delicious. The fish & chicken were hand battered. They were fried perfectly. The amount of crunch was perfect. The fries were crispy. The sides were both delicious. The tarter sauce was very tasty & very plentiful The highlight of the meal for me was the hush puppies! I could seriously make a meal of the them. They were crispy on the outside. The inside was tender & moist with just a hint of green onion. Our bill was around $50 plus we have leftovers for days. Pretty good for a family of 4. We will definitely be repeat customers.

I stopped a person coming out and asked what's good. He recommends ribs.. so ribs it was! I was greeted friendly. Football was on so into the bar area I went!I settled on the "get every thing BBQ platter". I comes with ribs, pulled pork sandwich (no bun for me) and chicken breast. A salad and side. Everything was fresh and very good but the ribs were fantastic! The sauce!! It should be illegal! (I'll take a vat of it!)

"I visit Akron often to hang with my brother. He picked this place because it is a go to for a neural friend. She is vegetarian and gets the veggie past dish - huge portions! Huge! So let's go...Prices are decent for the portion sizes, come on they are huge. Pasta, ribs and chicken dishes are the winners. The side veggie egg rolls not so much. Don't order them if you are expecting $15 egg rolls because that is not what you will get. The bread is fresh and warm, so good! The oil dipping sauce is tasty as well. The service was great, very attentive. The mixed cocktails were excellent. When you think golf course, you have to remember this is Akron and this place is on the edge of a neighborhood. It was nice enough for the enjoyable dinner we had for decent prices. Again the service was on point and the cocktails rocked. Bonus for having vegetarian options. I look forward to returning and enjoying the patio that over looks the golf course. They also set up a few weekly events so be prepared to see an artist preform on a random night."
"Contrary to the majority of the reviews on cazuelas, I found the dining experience here to be well above average. We were served promptly, the staff is super friendly, and the margaritas are excellent! If you're checking out a film at gateway, or you just happen to be in the area this restaurant is worth a stop."
"Everytime I'm back in Cbus, I insist on an El Vaquero's visit. I usually go to the one on Olentangy River Rd. I'll go to this one if I'm in the area, but I'm not crazy about it. It always smells a little weird in here, the food is just ok, the margaritas are kinda watered down, and the service is hit or miss. But this location gets a bonus star from me for nostalgia. I used to eat here all the time when I used to at a radio station & TV station nearby. But if I still lived in Cbus, I would probably skip coming to this location."
"Great food, the decor and ambiance reminds me of me of my trip to Rome! The people there were so nice and the service was great."
"Dad and I lunched with a friend today at Mi Mexico. This is my 4th time here, all for lunch.4th visit, 4th different menu item I've tried. First visit, I had the Fajita Quesadilla with Shrimp. It comes with rice, crema salad, lettuce and tomatoes. Absolutely massive portion size. I shouldn't have eaten all of it because I could have (and should have) made two meals out of it, but it was so darn good. Everything you get in fajitas wrapped in a quesadilla. What's not to love? Flavorful, slightly al dente vegetables and big fat shrimp. Excellent. And of course, you get bottomless chips and salsa to start. Warm, salty, crispy chips and ice cold salsa. I could (and probably should) make my lunch on the chips and salsa, but the menu is too enticing for that.Second visit, I ordered the Chimichanga with chicken. It is served with beans, rice, and guacamole salad. I think my favorite part was the guac salad. The chimichanga was fantastic (and humongous), but the guac salad was exceptional. Cool and creamy with plentiful chunks of avocado. Very refreshing. Once again, would have been smarter to halve this lunch and get a second meal out of it, but I lack impulse control obviously.Third visit, I thought I would be smarter. I ordered the Veggie Combo D which is a bean burrito, cheese enchilada, and cheese quesadilla. I chose wisely. That was a dandy lunch and I wasn't nearly as stuffed as I normally am when I'm finished eating. I ate all of it, but it was a more lunch-sized portion. 3 distinct items, 3 distinct flavors, each very satisfying.Today's visit I ordered the Vegetarian Fajitas. Veggies consisted of bell peppers, white and green onions, tomatoes, zucchini, broccoli, squash and mushrooms, sauteed fajita-style. The menu shows that it comes with rice OR beans, lettuce, sour cream and guacamole. I didn't notice that the menu said OR, but it didn't matter - they put both on my plate. Plus, it came with 3 perfectly steamed flour tortillas. I do not make actual fajitas, I eat the components in stages while munching on a naked tortilla. I like it that way.Today's lunch was a return to a dish with a heaping pile of food. This time, I brought some home. I finished what I ate at the restaurant at 12:45 and I finished the leftovers tonight for dinner at nearly 8:00. Smarter.I really like this place. I enjoy lunching with my dad and our friend. The food is tremendous, the lunch companions are brilliant, the staff is phenomenal. Attentive without hovering, very friendly, and quick. The restaurant is very rustic looking with lots of wood and heavy chairs and gorgeous tile work. All reasons why I have been four times so far with many more to come.Quick note on cost: each meal cost between $11.99 and $14.99. Free chips and salsa, and add a bottomless refill Diet Pepsi for $2.99. A bargain through and through."
"My wife and I decided to meet friends and go to Eat Greek 275 E. Main Street, West Jefferson, Ohio. Although we'd never been to this location, we knew the reputation of Eat Greek in Polaris. We weren't sure what to expect regarding safety precautions in place for diners at this location. We're they open for fining inside, was it just outside dining or only pick up and delivery. When we arrived, we noticed that it was a small restaurant, but people were wearing masks as they entered. We saw our friends who were already inside so we donned our own masks and went inside. We were warmly greeted by Rima, who we later learned was Chef Philip's wife who took the orders at a cash register behind a plexiglass screen. I already had a pretty good idea what I wanted to eat, but Rima showed us the menu on the board - no handout menu available as a safety measure. Unfortunately, I was told that the restaurant did not have a license to create an open fire, for such delicious pan-fried cheese specialties as Saganaki, served flambé style tableside. So, I dispensed with an appetizer and went straight to the entré. I ordered lamb kabab, which was served without the skewer, the food was pushed onto a paper plate. Ok. I can live with that. The food was good! The lamb was seasoned and cooked perfectly; savory, tender, juicy pieces of aromatic and delicious lamb seemed to melt in my mouth. The onions, carrots, and bell pepper were flavorful and complimented the lamb very nicely. This a small restaurant in West Jefferson, Ohio. It was clean and attention was paid to all of the CDC safety guidelines as well as customers coming into the restaurant. We used out Yelp incentive to get some baklava and bought extra to take with us. This delicious, gooey confection of rich chocolate and walnuts and phyllo pastry lavishly soaked in honey is not to be missed. No exception here at all. Will I be back? Yes. Chef Philip and his wife, Rima we're very personable, polite and helpful to us all and provide wonderful food. We'd like to encourage them as a small business during these tough times. We'll be back."
"Fast and friendly service at lunchtime. My food was hot and delicious. I absolutely loved the Lunch Special #1 for only $6.75! One chile poblano, one taco, rice or beans, lettuce, guacamole, and tomato. With the complementary chips and salsa I was full!"
"A friend of a friend had told me that the food they make is from his region so I decided to try it! I ordered veg dum biryani, chicken mughalai, and veg samosas. Sooo good! Great flavors. The food lasted me for a while too. Lots of options on the menu. South Indian cuisine and even Indo Chinese. They seem to be most known for their biryani.I'd be down to come back! Def one of my top favorite spots for Indian food now!"

"This restaurant was really pretty on the inside with a large fish tank and beautiful lights. The smell of the hot pots was absolutely incredible but I was on a mission for some dim sum, and that's what we got. It was a family affair so our choices were definitely impacted by whether or not our six year old would be into them. We got a couple kinds of pork buns, one fried and one steamed (the fried ones were chewy like mochi but crisp on the outside), an order of the siu mai, scallion pancake, a shrimp/pork bun and then a pig shaped steam bun filled with coconut for like, dessert I guess lolDon't miss their sauce bar omg, especially their house blend. It's one of the tastiest dipping sauces I've encountered in a minute. But let me tell you, I'm already planning my next visit to do the whole hot pot deal because again, the SMELL it haunts meAlso our server was an absolute delight, she was so precious and totally helped me steer my kid away from a boba drink in total parent solidarity (high five, fellow mom). We loved her. And I think we met the owners as we were leaving, since my kiddo had to check out the fish tank again, and they seemed darling too. 10/10, will be back!!"
"Great tacos and their whole menu is fantastic, Burrito Loco also on point. Carry out right necXt door to cool the spicy"
"El vaquero is many Mexican restaurants around Columbus. Stopped in a for bite to eat and service was very quick and nice. Our food came out hot and delicious. Plenty of seating, happy hour ends at 8pm which is amazing. Things were clean and ready for the next person."
"YOU GUYSSSS. THEY STARTED DOING DELIVERY! For someone who works at home and was seriously craving seafood, comfort food, as well as wanting to support local businesses... This was a great find! I have heard about shrimp lips for a while and figured I can give it a shot. Most of the time I always change my my mind to something closer to home and miss out on this great food. No longer is that an issue with businesses creating their own delivery channels in the wake of the pandemic. So this was a welcomed treat! Shrimp Lips is this little food truck on Parsons Avenue and I live closer to Italian Village so it was easy to order. The prices are a little steep for anyone who just want something quick but considering I want a great food and supporting local black businesses, the price didn't matter. I wanted some fish and shrimp so that's what I got! I ordered the Fish and Shrimp platter and a small lobster mac n' cheese and let me tell you, it was delicious! Any leftovers were easily heated up in the oven for the next day's meal. My friends are now demanding where I got my food! Shrimp Lips get ready, because your business is about to explode! Five stars!"
"The lobster fries are the best hands down. A co-worker introduce me to this place and I have been hooked ever since."
"Located in a strip mall, I was pleasantly surprised at the interior of this restaurant. The room was very large and inviting with a huge bar, around 20 TVs, and a live seafood tank.Coming on a Friday just before the lunch specials were to end, I was handed a humongous menu with pages and pages of offerings. I finally found the lunch specials, but choked on the pricey choices: $18, $25, and something else in the $30's range.I ordered the fried clam strips basket with sweet potato waffle fries: $12.95. My server, Allie was attentive, even bringing me a water with lemon while I took a peek at the fish tanks. Allie also brought me some containers of tarter sauce for the clams and ketchup for the fries, and a little something else: warm caramel sauce which she recommended that it goes well with the sweet potatoes. Yes! It was good!My meal was more than enough, and I took home what would turn out to be another meal, so yay!"
"WHOA! This place is amazing! Being from southern Cali that is a huge compliment too! Highly recommended!"
"A local friend took me to this restaurant and was worth the visit. The service was quick and friendly in greeting and serving us. With a large menu, these was no problem making a selection. The beer was cold and the location had the feeling of Mexico with its decor. I recommend and would return in the future. Enjoy!"
"We were in the mood for shrimp for dinner and stumbled across this restaurant. The service was top rate. Our server had everything out in a reasonable amount of time. She checked on us several times to be sure everything was going well. My wife and I both had the fried shrimp basket. Good size shrimp in a bery tasty breading with just the right amount of spice. Substituting plain fries for the Cajun fries that came with it. Not a super spicy fan. You could actually carry on a conversation without the background noise so many restaurants have these days."
"Great food! Stopped on our way through town, and loved the place! Had catfish, ribs, and kids had chicken. The ribs were really good, had a great flavorful BBQ sauce. But by far George's catfish is some of the best fish I've ever had!The Lord truly blessed his hand at cooking. Very nice restaurant, very friendly staff. Will be stopping again.I was blessed by your testimony George, keep letting the Lord work through you."
"Amazing experience! I loved this place so much I wanted to keep it a secret. Wise Guys is an absolute gem. I came here from Tampa, FL visiting relatives and was astounded at the experience at this restaurant. With an old world speakeasy kind of feel, this was the most welcoming establishment I have ever visited. I had the crab cakes, second wedding soup, and the nightly special of pho. This was THE BEST FOOD I have eaten in years, and I also was treated to wonderful conversation. The owner even came to our table to ensure we were satisfied. I would recommend this establishment to anyone-its the perfect place for date night and long conversations. Will definitely return!"
"This place was great. Seated on the patio and ordered and received food in less than 25 minutes. My husband had the chicken fajita and i had the vegetarian quesadilla with a side of rajas poblanas (surprisingly tasty-like a cuppa soup). Both our dinners were good. We will definitely be back."
"We love this place. From the braised pork burritos to the tacos to the queso to the hand crafted margaritas, I'm this place never fails. Get the blue margarita. Large. Yum!"
"This is one of me and my husband's favorite date night spots. Its very lively at night! Lot's of music playing and a dancing robot and other entertainment. It is very loud at night just a head's up! It did take us by surprise our first visit. The service depend's on the time of day. If you go during the day your server will just do that serve you your food. They don't chat you up. But you are there for the food so that's ok! During the late evening and night time the server's are more hype asking you what you would like drink to night and recommending drink's and wanting you to have a good time. The food is alway's good. They do have a fine print on the menu that "if you do not like your meal or you pick the wrong meal they will not take it back or refund you" i ordered the birria quesadillas which was amazing so i didn't have a issue with needed something else. I did feel there wasn't enough rice but the quesadilla's are so filling that i can never finish the whole meal anyway's. The salsa here is my favorite salsa a perfect balance of heat and sweet."
