"This is a great place to visit with a group, it's very cozy! Our group of 4 came in 30 minutes before closing but it was no problem. Our server was very nice, his name was Bruce. He was on top of filling our waters and our food all came out correct, no errors! My Cobb salad was so fluffy and not skimpy. The toppings were overflowing and they gave me TWO ranches! The produce was very fresh and tasty. The kettle dinner was "great" and we loved the appetizer (spinach artichoke dip). The shepards pie was ok, the bread crumbs on top were plain and had the flavor of oyster crackers. The meat was not lamb, it was beef. It wasn't ground. And lastly the meatloaf had good flavor and texture. No complaints.I suggest this place for a dinner, they have a very diverse menu!"
"I was pointed in the direction of Press Grill for good food, and they did not disappoint! I took a seat at the bar where I was greeted immediately. I had a few questions about the menu which the lovely lady behind the bar helped with and decided on the double cheeseburger with a side of the Tabasco mayo sauce. The food came out quickly and it is an understatement when I say I INHALED the burger. I dipped each bite of the burger in the sauce and it was heavenly! I almost licked the ramekin it was THAT good! I will be back next time I'm in town, there is no doubt about that."

"Seriously the best wings in town. When you order 12 you get two flavors. We got hot and at our bartender's encouragement, got the garlic wings holy cow SO GOOD! Just amazing. We threw down glasses of wine and my husband got a fun cocktail sorry - it was bourbon based but can't recall which one. I did ask to splurge for a large bread pretzel with dipping sauces. WORTH IT. Just hop on the treadmill lift a weight it is way too good to pass up. The staff was AWESOME. The food was TERRIFIC. The ambiance ROCKED. Yep - we'll def be back!"
"The fried Brie was amazing. Very crunchy and filling, and the apricot chutney complimented it perfectly. My husband was a fan of the triple decker sandwich; it was able to fill him up for two meals! The beer list was expansive and seasonally fitting without being overwhelming. It's pricy, but worth it for sure."
"Our server/bartender was great. Everyone's food was good but mine was not great. I ordered the loaded tater tots as an appetizer they came out with the meal and they were not hot. My entree was the French Dip. The meat and onions were cooked perfectly and the au jus was good. My only problem was the bread was just a smooshed hoagie bun. A sandwich like that needs to be served on a nice French Bread or Italian roll. The Hoagie bun was soggy and smashed."
"I love Liberty Tavern! Such amazing food! There is a parking lot right behind to park in. Kinda hard to find..I feel like their location kills them a bit. I would be advertising this place so much more with the awesome experiences I have had. The staff is kind, so helpful. I would come here for a date night, with the fam, a work party, honestly anything. I have had their apps, burgers, brunch. They know how to make a girl happy. Keep up the good work Liberty!! I will have to try out their new location on Polaris!"
"I've been coming here for oh, at least a decade. Even when I lived in Zanesville, about an hour away, friends and I would purposely come to town to go to Woodlands. The music is what draws us here. I almost always only come here when there is a live show taking place. The space itself is split into two, one side is the bar and kitchen, the other side is the music venue. They also have a great patio out front. I had pizza here once way back in the day, but I usually just order a few drinks while I'm here. The venue side has a small bar but the kitchen side is where they have the most options. As I mentioned, the main reason I come here is for the music. I've seen the Floorwalkers once or twice and I always make it a priority to come when the Spikedrivers are playing. I went to OU where they've played often, and try to catch them whenever they are in town. The space has a whole light system and the sound is usually pretty good. I like that they give you wristbands so you can walk back and forth between spaces. I also like that you can purchase tickets ahead of time instead of paying cash at the door. There's no doubt I'll continue coming here. If you've never been and you're a fan of live music, add it to your Yelp Collection pronto!"
"We went to this location recently for an alumni event to watch a basketball game. I read many reviews about what to expect. It is a bar-type restaurant, but kids are allowed. We did call to ask. Keep in mind that they only have high-top tables. They do accept reservations, and that was great because it was packed. I ordered off their whiskey and food menu. The whiskey was great, and I was offered a second when finished. I passed at $15 for a glass. I do really appreciate that the prices are on the drink menu. Many restaurants have you guessing. We ordered the Buffalo chicken dip and Bacon cheeseburger French fries. Pro tip, the fries are a huge portion. It was enough for my husband and I to share as our main meal. They were very good with a ton of fresh toppings and a decent amount of ground beef and bacon. The Buffalo Chicken Dip was excellent as well, with a hardy amount of chicken. The only flaw would be that we didn't receive many chips, so when we ordered more chips, there's a $4 charge.Service was decent, but a few hiccups. They were slammed, and my husband had a drink spilled on him. When he asked for a rag to clean his chair, someone told him they were too busy. Fortunately, another waitress nearby offered him a rag when she heard. Overall, we were happy."
"Everything here was good. Came with a group of about 10 folks. The service was excellent, good beer menu and the food came out reasonably quick. Only issue I'd give feedback on is the bread with the fried fish sandwich was way too dense or thick."
"Obviously I have been coming here for years since attending Otterbein University locally. Your 1 stop shop for drinks, shots, a bar crawl or a fast dinner. I highly recommend, always an amazing time. Awesome service. I love that it is in the heart of right uptown Westerville! The patio is perfect with the lights and fountain. Walkable distance for sure."
"Food is good. Obviously you are not getting a gourmet experience but food is a cut above the average pub food. Shrimp poboy was a surprise. Do not usually see it offered often on pub menus. The sandwich was good with lots of shrimp, but could've used more sauce and I found the sauce a bit bland. Hamburger was definitely 1st class. Big and juicy. Fries were plump with a crispy exterior and creamy interior. Service was great."
"Would you eat a Reuben on a pretzel bun or does it have to be rye?If you find yourself in Amish country on a Sunday when nothing is open, head to Millersburg and eat at Bag's Sports Pub.Bag's Sports Pub has a Reuben that is to die for. Smoked Angus corned beef, Thousand Island dressing, Swiss cheese and grilled sauerkraut on a grilled pretzel bun. You can also choose rye, white, or multigrain bread. This sandwich has changed my mind about Reubens. The smoked corned beef smelled so good and tasted out-of-this-world delicious. We also ordered the ribs & wing combo which wasn't any good and I can't recommend it. The bbq sauce was watery, tasted cheap and lacked flavor. The ribs were tender but were not flavorful at all. The boneless wings were terrible. They were dry, flavorless and freezer burned. Yuck! The onion rings were also terrible. The chips tasted oId and stale and the dip was literally a horseradish dip that didn't go well with the chips. I am not one to leave food on my plate and if I do I take it home. This food unfortunately wasn't worth eating or taking home. The food took way longer than it should have and they were out of too many things which limited our ability to order things.Overall I would highly recommend the Reuben sandwich but be prepared to wait a long time to get it.@ohiofoodlover"

Delicious food. Delicious cocktails. Amazing service. This is definitely in my top 3 restaurants/bars in this area. We ordered Hooley eggs, the buffalo chicken wrap, shepherds pie, and carrot cake and everything was wonderful! We also ordered the chicken fajita sandwich to go for my stepson and he loved it too! My favorite thing was the carrot cake, and I highly recommend the Irish coffee with that. I can't wait to come back, this was such a great experience.

I don't give many 5 star reviews but Atlas hit the mark! I was visiting a local retail shop and I overheard someone mention Atlas Tavern as a recommendation to eat. A door normally dine out in this area since I was across the street I figured I'd give it a try. First thing I noticed when I pulled into the parking lot was the place was packed, which is usually a good sign on a Tuesday night. I was able to get seated right away at a spot at the bar and had great service. They had some black pepper Cajun wings that I had to try and they were some of the best I've ever had. I also selected one of their signature burgers. Now I'm not the typical burger guy, but this was fantastic with great flavor. I would definitely get it again. I also enjoyed one of their signature cocktails which was also very tasty. I would definitely come back and enjoy the atmosphere of this establishment.

We love this place! The food is fantastic, the beer is good, and we love the causal (but still nice) feel of the place! Nine times out of ten the service is good too. Our biggest qualm is the cost-- everything from beer to apps to salad are definitely pricey. We would love to make this our regular spot, but can't justify the cost that often. That being said, their happy hour is great! Makes everything reasonably priced; we are far more willing to go more frequently when we can fit happy hour into our schedule.

The food and service were good. We ordered The sant Fe chicken wrap, cheese curds and chicken tortilla soup. Not the best soup but the absolute best chicken wrap and cheese curds. The blueberry cheesecake also looked delicious! Comfortable setting and would recommend.

Appetizers are very small for the price. Our cheese balls were hollow and the pretzels were a very small serving. My PB and jelly burger had very little PB.It used to be good.

I can't believe how much Woodlands has changed in the last few years! The music room has gotten some pretty amazing soundproofing, and the patio door in that room has been removed, making way for a MUCH bigger stage! I had the pleasure of visiting on their "NYE do-over" night last weekend and the bar provided complimentary glasses of champagne for everyone at the show.As always, the staff is top-tier, and the band was awesome. I love how great the lighting looks with the new setup. Woodlands has ever been a top favorite of mine, and I can't wait to go back again soon! It's a totally different Woodlands than the place I went to in college, but it really still has the same heart and soul. Way to go Woodlands staff and cheers to many more years of bevs, bites, and bangin' beats!

Don't let the outside scare you away! From the outside it seems like a dingy bar in a warehouse, but inside is much cuter! The food and service were excellent. They didn't have a lot on tap, but they had a lot of can selections. It seemed like they had many daily specials and their menu was vast. I would definitely go back if I am in the area!

"We came in during an Ohio State basketball tournament, and it was packed. We still were seated quickly. Service was amazing. We never lacked anything, in spite of the busyness.I started withĥgh a strawberry margarita and husband tried a beer. It was decent. We also got a0 pulled pork nachos appetizer. It was good. It hadpull?m pork, jalapeños, tomatoes, salsa, and sour cream. The cheese was a little overdone. No cheesy pull. Pork was sweet and tasted good with jalapeños. I found I missed the beans that usually come with nachos. I wish we had added guacamole and street corn. I just didn't want to pay $5 more, totaling almost $20. But this could definitely be meWe also tried wings and an Italian sandwich with tator tots. The husband loved his garlicp parm wings. My Italian was good, the tots wete great. What really stood out here was the service. It was great"
"Wanted somewhere to see the Ohio State game. Local recommended & THIS DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!"
"We stopped by to meet friends for drinks. We ended up having lunch and it was delicious! They had a special on Mussels and they were great, especially for the price. The broth had a nice flavor. I had the perch dinner. It had a nice thin crispy coating that was not greasy, hand cut fries and homemade coleslaw. The quality of the food is definitely a step up over normal bar food.I was here years ago and when it was just a neighborhood bar. It still has that same neighborhood feel but the menu is much nicer."
".The first thing that you will notice is the location. Off of 70 East, exit 129 heading south on 79 briefly to the first light (at the Wendy's) you will see when you turn an old empty building that was most likely the old McDonald's which was probably moved to take advantage of being closer to the freeway so people see the sign and know it is there. Behind that further down the road several meters is The Blue Heron. Ample enough parking for even the biggest families, I was also taken aback by the lack of vehicles in the parking lot during dinner time. But I didn't let that get to me as we were out in a rural area and I have no real gauge on the level of what qualifies as a "rush".Once inside the maître de or host greeted us and waited for our party to slowly get through the door (we travel with a 98 year-old) then she led us to our table. She soon brought us water to our table and informed us our server would be along soon. The water was served in glasses as well as there is a bottle service for the water where it is brought out in fancy bottles, of which I wanted to take one home with me even if it was just filled with chilled water from the tap. To the owner: The bottles are a nice touch. Perhaps a side hustle for your restaurant would be to have them for sale at the front of house? The food, this is what you are really here for. AMAZING! Around the table, we had fish and chips, spaghetti, chicken tenders and every person was raving about how good everything was. If you read any of my reviews, you will know how much I love pub food. Fish n' chips is my go to any and everywhere I travel to. It is how I can gauge quality as it should be the same or similar everywhere. Some places have let me down before but if you can't get that right, you can't really be good at... food. The size of the fish is on par with that of the fish at Cooper's Hawk. A dense delicious piece of white fish thick and filling. I was so surprised at how much I liked this that it would have been easy to take a second order home with me had the price not been so restrictive. The bead of fries the fish sat on was also prepared well. I am not normally into steak fries as they aren't alway seasoned right or prepared in a way where the texture seems consistent to me. But these were so well made, I wish I had more of them to just splurge on. The same sentiment went around the table. No one regretted their order. The only regret anyone had was that they didn't order what the other person had as we all were enjoying the food so well, we felt as though we were missing out on the experience our dinner partners were having with their food. Our biggest complaint: that we didn't have room for more food. While it is regrettable to me that I feel the necessity to leave the city to find great food, it is completely worth the trip to such a rural area to experience a meal like this. If you have the money and you are trying to impress a date or even impress a business partnership (as a company I used to work for frequently did) this restaurant is worth the drive and the money. There is also ample space in the restaurant to move around without bumping into most other patrons. There were walkers at a few tables and room to stow them out of the way. There may have been enough room to add in 1-2 more tables but I enjoyed walking through and not having to figure out "Fight Club" etiquette of whether to pass by a seated person with my front or my rear in their face like other big chain restaurants that hammer in tables and chairs to the maximum occupancy posted on the sign. To other restaurants: it is a dining room not an airplane. People like having room to eat without bumping elbows and chairs with other strangers. So even through a glowing review from me, I will point out there were obvious glitches with service that were completely visible to me since I knew what to look for. The owner was easy to spot and she was busy. Bussing tables there, seating patrons over there, bringing food here, she was on task being an attentive owner doing what needed to be done due to what I assume was short staffing in every area. At one point her, the 2 servers, and the host were all busy with everyone in the dining area I could hear the kitchen yell for service a couple of times which no one heard. Throughout all of the work that kept them all so busy, no one ever made us feel like they were too busy for requests of more sauces or silverware. No hesitation to keep us happy. At the time we were there, this business was still pretty early on. I just took a bit to get to writing this, to the management: I'm sorry for the delay. The food and service were amazing. I hope to be back soon. I hope others enjoy the food just as much. Also, there are corporate offices a few exits away that should consider bringing business partners there for a great meal and there is a bar. Cheers!"
"I'm not sure why this place doesn't have at least three stars on Yelp. The food and service are pretty good at Wendell's. I've been here a couple times over the past few weeks and was pleasantly surprised at how much I like it. The wings are incredible and the service has been quick to serve and friendly.I would say, if you have been here before or haven't been here recently, give this local dinner a try. They have plenty of great tasting selections to choose from."
"Although this place is a bit out of the way, I would definitely recommend going here. The restaurant was very aesthetically pleasing and the service was good too. It's advertised as a part of a golf club, which makes it sound expensive, but the price of the food was very affordable and delicious on top of that."
"some of the best wings in columbus. the place is very unassuming but don't let that stop you from going on. the staff is great and accommodating; the food is on point; and you get to do a little keno while you wait or eat. must try if you like wings and that is the only thing I have tried so far."
"i've tried many different things to eat here, and the food and staff never disappoint! when there's karaoke or music on stage, it's a good time! and even when crowded, there's just a nice comfy feel here!"
"Stopped in to try their delicious drinks.I was not disappointed - Morgan made me an amazing passion fruit mango margarita! Very fresh, not syrupy - killer drink for $5.Super friendly staff (go above and beyond to make you feel welcome) and friendly customers. I definately want to come back on a Saturday night and check out their live band venue. BANDS start at 9pm.Their kitchen opens July 11th.Tuesday is half off well drinks and draft beers.Nice selection olf IPAs on draft."
"Not to be confused with the far-inferior Noble Roman's Pizza, Roman's in Canal is a great little spot. Roman's offers some tasty pizza. The thick crust is soft on the inside and the outside is just crispy enough -- another of those rare departures from Columbus-style pizza. The subs are nice too. Fresh baked bread and lots of fillings make them a lunchtime staple around Canal. The menu features lots of sides too. Some are predictable -- cheese sticks, garlic bread and the like. A few of the items are more unexpected. The fried macaroni and cheese is a must-try -- and probably worth the drive to the southeast side. The decor leaves a bit to be desired. There is only one narrow row of booths. You feel like you are sitting in the kitchen, though sometimes that built-in accountability is niceThe help is friendly enough, if not always attentive.Perhaps the best pizza on this end of town."
"Good wings for a reasonable price. I've visited Market Street Grill and Pub twice, both times were to pick up a take out order for wings. On my first visit I picked up an order of 50 wings and on my second visit I picked up an order of 12 wings. What attracted me to the Market Street Grill and Pub was the price for their wings. Well under the price you would have to pay at some of the chains or other local joints, I couldn't pass up trying the wings here. And I wasn't disappointed. I was satisfied and happy with the wings, the various flavors, and the price. The amount of meat on the wings is generous. Ordering and picking up my take out order was easy and efficient.I see myself going back to the Market Street Grill and Pub for more wings."
"Well, surprise surprise surprise.. I have heard about this place from friends. Not a place I would normally go to or stop by to try. It's located by a gas station, no its connected to the gas station. Very shocked to see how well designed it was and clean. Greeted as we came in and all three bartender's were nice and had so many opinions on what to try...very friendly! The beer choices were awesome! I like cider and they had alot to choose from. The food was good, had one of their specialty sandwiches, which was made with pizza crust.... YUMThis place will shock you so try it out for yourself..."
"Happened to be nearby and knew how good the other location is, so stopped in. It's in the new build area of Grandview, at the base of tall buildings (near the Bricks and Minifigs store, so I knew where to look.) You can go in from the front or back; not huge signs on either side, at least compared to the building. Park in back in the retail area.Same great food and service as the other location, but in a more sleek space. I got a sub for there and a pizza to take home for supper. The sub was great: good bread perfectly toasted, lots of good meat and fresh veggies. The pizza (I got I think "Al's" which is pepp, sausage, banana peppers) was excellent. Thin but supportive crust, lots of cheese, lots of good toppings. Reheats well. Very tasty.Really good service. Decent prices. There's a bar and tons of screens inside, with lots of windows. In a more trendy area than the Linworth one, which is a turnoff for me, but go at an off time and get some great food."
"Pat's serves up a solid Central Ohio style pizza. Yeah, it's good as they've nailed that crispy cracker crust. They also top their pies with a good amount of sauce, cheese and whatever toppings you want and it'll still be steaming as it hits the table. Not into a pizza? No problem. They have a pretty decent sized menu that offers various subs and other sandwiches, hot wings and the usual deep fried good stuff that most bars tend to offer. Prices are more than fair too. Pat's is typical, laidback, smalltown casual. They offer bar seating, a dining room and they also have a really nice and comfortable patio for some great al fresco dining. They are one of the few places in West Jefferson that has a liquor license so you can get a brew or cocktail which is nice.Their service is good and friendly. What's not to like?5 StarsAndHere'sAnotherSliceOrTwoForYou:** If you're on the westside of Columbus and you want a little afternoon escape, Pat's is only about a 10 minute shot straight out West Broad Street.** Their alcohol selection isn't huge but they can make most standard drinks."
"I would come here every day if I could. We had the most amazing experience ever here last night. This is my new favourite local bar - I just wish it wasn't ALL the way up High Street from where I live (but it'd be a quick cab ride, I bet). We aren't drinking this month, but yes, we found our way to several bars last night. A last ditch effort at amusing ourselve amidst our November sobriety, El Dorado made my night completely. It's a hole in the wall bar, and yes there were a bunch of rowdy middle aged locals hanging around outside (I think they were serving beer from a booth/window outside? I couldn't exactly tell what was going on). We walked in to witness a fully packed bar - mostly middle aged and white haired local yokels - dressed to the nines in their own way, and dancing and carrying on to an excellent cover band of the same general age/cultural demographic. The band was truly very good, and it was awesome to watch everyone so thoroughly and uninhibitedly enjoying themselves. A couple funny moments: I went to go to the bathroom, and while I was waiting outside, a drunk older man started leering at me. My boy swooped in and waited with me - then while I was in the bathroom, I heard this woman drunkenly ask him if he was waiting for his "wife." Hit on all around! Haaa. Wonderful. When the boy went outside to make a call, I got asked to dance by several very nice men my dad's age - within like three minutes. It was really very endearing and not at all skeezy - people just wanted to have a good time! I declined and went to find the boy outside, but we really enjoyed spending the next hour or so listening to the band (and not drinking, ftw!). We are DEFINITELY coming back here in December and getting trashed with these wonderful people at this effing fantastic bar. If you like serious local culture, I'd recommend checking out El Dorado - but don't bring in your own element and try to take it over or change it. It's very obvious that this is these peoples' bar."
"I think that this might be our new happy hour place! We were running errands today before a 3:00 cookout. Stopped by a wonderful farmers stand on Agler Rd. and still had almost an hour to kill. Thought we would check out Dolphin Bar but they were not open (2:00 on a Saturday) so went next door to The Mug. Old school bar. Service at bar was terrific. Judging from conversations overheard a lot of regulars. $2 beers all the time! Bathroom was clean (big plus in my book). Pool tables and bowling game. Will definitely be back. Our daughter says pizza is delicious so will have to try that next time"
"This is a great hole-in-the-wall place. Regulars know it, but I think more people need to hear about this cool interesting restaurant. We had crab cakes (lump-style, very good!), smothered chicken (mushrooms/cheese) & their special salmon which was very yummy! Food is home cooked & comforting. The place has been there since the 1800s and the decorations are so fun! Our waiter said his family has owned the place all his life and he still finds things he's never seen before. Go! Have fun!"
"Update: went for wing night again just a few nights ago. A completely different experience. The wings all tasted like fish sticks. The service was subpar at best, the beer selection cut in half and 5 or so wing flavors were crossed out on the menu because they didn't offer them anymore. We won't be back. So sad to see a restaurant go down in quality so quickly....You know I love me some cheap wings. I have been to the Firehouse location in Talmadge and had no clue there was one literally right around the corner from my house. This could be a problem every Tuesday...... wings at at Firehouse make my heart smile. What a cool little location. Set in an old building, this place is brimming with charm. Sure, it is small. But, he fantastic service makes up for the size of the building. Our server was absolutely fantastic, attentive and friendly. We sat in a really cool corner booth too! The wings were cooked perfectly and came out super fast.Parking is plentiful here was well! Just thought I'd throw that in here. Will be back for sure!"
"I've been coming here for years and even during the crazy beginning of the pandemic, they stayed strong, together and still in business. I've always loved the atmosphere, good food and servers that know you by your first name if you're a regular like me. Now that we don't have to wear these masks, it was nothing but GOOD VIBES with everyone talking and socializing with each other whether you knew them or not. Thank you to management for the hot food, strong drinks, clean restaurant and many smiles and laughs. They now have live music on the weekends so that's a nice addition. I knew one of the band members of course because I'm a musician so you can get an acoustic set every Thursday or Friday from 7 pm to 10 pm. Come and see for yourself. They're open late until 2 am"
"An unexpected dive bar which carries an amazing array of great bourbons! Totally blown away by their bourbon list from elijah craig barrel, basil hayden, angels envy to blantons...just to mention a few of their awesome bourbons! And dayumm, they do a very generous pour!Had 4 generous pour high end bourbons plus a martini, large cocktail and craft beer for $58...that is super cheap in my book. The bar is divey but the place is friendly, 2 pool tables, darts, plus JT's pizza( incredible wings)inside the bar..and great jukebox box music. This was a great find for kicking back snd enjoying some very generous pours!"
"Dub pub is a typical divey-Irish bar, in a good way. You know what you're gettin here. A reliable, comfortable neighborhood bar!"
"2 Fish dinners for under $20.00, Very good food and the owner came out from the kitchen to make sure things were just right."
"So good! My friend used to live close to the one in Grandview so it's been on my list to try for a while.I ordered a 10" with pepp and banana peppers. It was under $12 which isn't bad for a BYO 10".Delicious! It's doable to finish the entire pie but I ate 2/3 and saved the rest for the next day.It wasn't busy during the day for lunch. Only a couple people dining in. Parking lot is huge! Shouldn't have an issue finding parking. Can't wait to come back!"
