"Located on far Eastside in Pickerington. Friendly staff. Fast service. Nice atmosphere. Great prices. Most importantly, good food!! Probably why it's been open for years.*overheard someone say the food is better than when they were last there. (That's all I heard)"
"Food is delicious. I've been here twice. All of the extras taste so fresh. Love it here! The restaurant is upbeat with K-pop music videos and music. Service was extremely attentive. Constantly coming by to ask if we would like the grill changed out or needed anything else. Combo A is $80 and was a little too much for 2 people but we pushed through. Could definitely be eaten by 3."

"The food was awesome. There were many choices. Everyone in our group was pleased with the food. The location was fine. They bring a selection of appetizers with the meal. It's great for browsing small bites, the kimchi was on point and all the others a nice bit of nibbles. This is certainly one of best Korean restaurants in Columbus."
"Fast, friendly and tons to choose from!Sushi En was a welcome haven during our very rainy drive north for the Thanksgiving holiday. We were seated right away in a cozy corner, and experienced fast friendly service throughout. If you want sushi, ordering is as simple as marking up the menu with the provided dry erase marker--genius!We enjoyed the tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, spider roll and cherry blossom roll. The latter two were a bit unwieldy in size but tasty nonetheless. The first three rolls were pretty standard, while the cherry blossom is something I haven't seen before. Looking back at the menu now I see that the crab on top was meant to be spicy, which it really wasn't, but it was a nice addition nonetheless. Everything that fell off the roll was just like a free extra snack."
"I love fried chicken and this place definitely was worth the trip. Our tenders were very crispy and super flavorful yet juicy inside. For the price, they gave decent portion sizes as well. The amount of tenders I got lasted me two meals and after putting tenders in the air frier they still tasted great. The service was a little slow, but the staff were nice. The ambiance is your basic food joint decorated with photos of the chicken and some signs about their story. Inside were a decent amount of tables, but I feel like this restaurant is better suited for smaller versus larger parties. I'd definitely go here again, my only minor complaint is that the chicken was overly salty but this sometimes is expected with restaurant food."
"Wonderful place to get sushi. Service is top notch. Very casual relaxing atmosphere . Highly recommend ."
"Best Sushi in Columbus! Small family atmosphere inside. Staff are friendly and attentive."

I've been going here for years, and my friends and I still love it. Meat quality is great, staff are great, and in general, the place has a great vibe to it. Prefer going on weekdays cause on weekends they are tremendously busy. Bulgolgi, dumplings & the variety of banchan hit

The restaurant is tucked back with a welcoming sign. The environment is very cozy, with decorations and nice lighting. The food is incredible and they have a vast menu for all your Korean favorites. Their side dishes are always fresh and in season. What truly makes this place special is the owner. She is so kind and loving. The food is great but I keep coming back for her!

This is my first time back here in a while. Since Covid, I have only done the carry out in that time and missed eating inside where the Sushi Chef's inside loved their blues music. Today, I got to sit inside and enjoy their fresh cuisine. We ordered so many different items, spicy shrimp rolls (California roll without the avocado because Avocado = yuck), Bulgoki (a Korean dish which tastes like a stir fry version of the best beef stew you've ever had. Pretty much the Bulgoki (bull-go-key) is a bed of stir fried carrots, onion, zucchini, broccoli with a delicious beef broth that adds flavor to thinly sliced pieces of beef on top with a very mild pepper in it. It was pretty good and something I recommend for those who love a heartier meal in the cool weather. I went with my usual go-to of the spicy shrimp California rolls, without the avocado which makes them spicy shrimp rolls, but if you want the spicy sauce on top you have to say California rolls and then whatever you don't want. Unless unlike myself, you actually believe an avocado tastes like food? I ordered 3 orders of it which equates to 18 rolls or 3 hand rolls. Garnished with a spicy green wasabi paste (fresher than the paste on the premade sushi stand at the grocery stores) and pickled ginger slices to cleans your palate after the meal, I love these rolls. Probably the simplest to make in comparison to an entire page of sushi (prepared cooked meat) or a choice of sashimi (raw food) I have never been terribly brave enough to venture beyond what I know. But if you want to get crazy, you can definitely find some great sushi/sashimi options. I like to dip my sushi rolls in the Katsu sauce. It is part of the Chicken Katsu dish but you can order the sauce for dipping with whatever your heart is content with. The chicken Katsu is another favorite as it is planks of thin panko crusted and lightly fried chicken breast meat and you can dip it in the Katsu sauce which I can only explain as a slightly smoky savory robust sauce with a weird non-citrus tasting A1-type flavor ans soy sauce mixed with possibly a hint of Worcestershire sauce and something a bit sweet. It is so good on the chicken and even the sushi rolls go well with it. We also had two side salads which was the house side salad of iceberg lettuce and carrots with a delicious light ginger dressing and the cucumber salad which is thinly sliced cucumber in a very tart vinaigrette dressing that makes the cucumber taste a bit sweet like homemade relish almost. It was my least favorite as I don't like sweet cucumber or relish flavor. And the beverages are served from cans in a cooler. No worries about mystery flavors from a barely cleaned beverage machine with dirty fountain nozzles. This may also increase the price if you want more than a single soda.I have easily spent $30-$40 in my younger days destroying my wallet to order sushi. This meal, with all but the chicken Katsu totaled $50 before the 20% tip. It was more than enough for two people to eat and given the quantity I think a small third person would have easily fit into this price range for not much more. I love the look of this place. Always have. I find the design aesthetic to look like the sushi bars in Japan. Before COVID every time I have gone in the Korean chefs had their old school blues music playing because those guys loved their blues music. Today was a bit different as Spanish and American pop music. But this isn't a party atmosphere typically as even when I have been in here during the dinner rush, it has never been loud. There is also a small party room in the back for more private dining events. The servers are always friendly. This has always been my absolutely favorite sushi place

Ordered this off DoorDash food delivery. Food was still warm and decently in contact by the time we got it. The sauce container did spill a bit but didn't ruin our order. We were happy they put the sauce on the side! We got the spicy snow chicken 1/2 order and side of curly fries. This was plenty of food for 2 ppl. The chicken was crispy and spicy and for takeout fries they were still pretty good. I'm sure even better if you eat in! The onions were perfectly sliced and the the white sauce was like nothing I had ever tasted before! It was delicious. Overall I really liked it but it's definitely a decadent meal so not something I will be ordering all the time. Definitely worth the try if you are on that side of town and looking for some fried chicken with a flare!

Bonsai Japanese and Korean restaurant has been in the Kingsdale shopping center, a few doors down from Market District, for about seven years now. I ate here once when it opened, but never think to go there even though it's just a mile from my house. It was a convenient lunch option, so I stopped in for some sushi and bibimbap, both which were really good. Bonsai is now officially on my radar. I was here (solo) at a later lunch hour, so the dining room was quiet, and the service was all mine. The ambience is warm and the service was great. They sent out a complementary plate of crab rangoon, which isn't my favorite, but a thoughtful gesture. Definitely recommend. * I have subsequently been here a few more times, and each time has been very good. I mostly have got sushi, but the bibimbap is consistently nicely done.* hello

The best fried rice I've ever had! The menu is huge with both American and Korean food. The Korean food is excellent, totally worth a try even if you're new to it. They're quick and very friendly. I always get the food to-go, but there are plenty of tables and booths inside.

"Food = outstandingCost = expensive for what you get Service = D-Last night was our first time going. They weren't all that busy inside for a Saturday night. We were there around 7:30/8. They were busy for takeout orders. There was a constant flow of customers coming in to place & pickup takeout. Inside there were 2 parties of 4 & 2 parties of 2 including us. A party of 5 entered a little while after us. There was 1 waitress on duty & another employee working the front desk & helping where she could. We were told to sit at a booth & were given menus. Being our first time we needed a little while to look. Our server came over 4 times about 1 minute apart to ask if we were ready. On her last visit I simply had a question & she took that as me placing my order. I asked if it was possible to get the garlic soy chicken with snow sauce on the side. She answered me while writing it down. I told her we have more food to order before she walked away hoping she would understand not to put my food in. No such luck. Then she disappears for a while. She finally comes back & takes the rest of our order. She puts the order in & immediately comes out with my chicken & snow onion, drops it at our table & quickly walks away before we can say anything. Serving 101 is bring all the food at the same time. That was a major faux pas. The girl avoids us completely & it takes about 10 minutes to finally get the other woman's attention. We explain what happened & that we specifically told her there was more to order, that we weren't ready to order. We wanted all the food at the same time. We ask if she can take my wings to the back to at least keep them warm until all the food comes. Instead she kinda shrugs me off & goes to the back to grab our sides. Out comes our rice & fries. We ordered wedges but got fries. We didn't say anything & just took it. She looked at us & smiled & said enjoy your meal. Like no, we still have his wings we're waiting on. We tell her there's another set of wings we're missing. She says the Tikkudak wings take a little longer. That's fine but why is no one understanding how service flow works or paying attention to what anyone orders? What we have is getting cold while we wait for it all to arrive. The original server brings the wings a few minutes later. She does the same thing. Quickly drops them on the table & runs away. This time she put them on the far corner of the table where neither of us are sitting, instead of placing the food in front of the diner or even handing them to him. The service here is absolutely horrendous. The server was either up our butt or nowhere to be found/flat out ignoring us. At the end we asked for check & 2 boxes. She forgot. After a while she walked by our table & asked if we were ready for check. Yes...we already said so. Comes back with the check & no boxes. "Can we have boxes?"She responded "sure! 1 or 2?" like this was the first time we asked & like she couldn't see we needed 1 box per person. Some common sense is lacking here. It was all a little chaotic & scatterbrained when it didn't have to be. Most disappointing is there's no concept of service flow. The food was great! But my wings got cold while we waited on the rest of the food. Service flow is so simple & frankly common sense. Take the whole tables order at the same time, drop the ticket, & bring out all the food at the same time. The only thing that should come early are appetizers if they apply, unless otherwise requested. I get that they were busy so that offers some sympathy but they need serious work in that dept. My only other grievances are it's way too expensive & their sides suck. Fries, rice, & coleslaw. They can do better than that. Plenty of things go with wings. I'll be back for lunch since that's $10.99 with sides. But I'm ordering & asking for a box to go. Hopefully that's not too complicated. Much work to do. Great product alone won't keep a place open."
"We drove through the city and this place came up the drinks are amazing here, a bit expensive but worth the fresh fruit prices. All the food is delicious and they worked with all my allergies also. Everyone was very nice! Come on by for great food and people!"
"Amazing.... I can't rave enough about this food. I thought about it for the rest of the day. Going back next week to get more. The service was quick and helpful. It is in a grocery store, so maybe not a date night place, but so so good."
"Delicious! Highly recommend the garlic snow chicken. Just know that when they tell you it is spicy they are not kidding. The Korean Ramen is also delicious- but again it is spicy. We were surprised to find out this location is a sit down restaurant, although it seemed like most of the business is carry out. Will definitely be back."
"Great Karaage Donburi! Mildly spicy, a nice amount of white rice, covered with fried chicken, corn, furikake, green onion and then eel sauce and spicy mayo sauce. I also ordered the Harumaki which came with a sweet chili sauce. They were crunchy on the outside and tasty on the inside. I would definitely order this meal again, I was stuffed when I finished it."
"I stopped by this stall in the new Bubbly Food Hall about a month ago. I've been wanting to try tteokbokki for a long time and was thrilled to see this as an option since I live nearby. I had the jjajang (Korean black bean) rice cakes on this visit. I am not huge on spice and saw these were non-spicy. While they may have not had much heat, they had a ton of flavor. There was a great savory but also sweetness to these rice cakes and they had a nice chew. The only thing that would have made these better would be a thicker sauce. It was a bit on the thin side and I had trouble getting the sauce to stick to the cakes instead of sliding off. Since I went so early in the opening this may change eventually or may already have. I also wanted to mention that they have a great range of Korean sodas and I really loved the melon one I had, but I will warn you they are very sweet."
"I've always referred to this place as "the takeout counter inside the Arirang Market". I only learned it has its own name earlier this year... oops.So yeah, Nara Korean Cuisine is a Korean takeout counter located inside Arirang Korean Market on Bethel Rd. They offer a good variety of classic Korean dishes at a very reasonable price. They also have a small seating area for those who prefer to eat on site.As an added benefit, you can buy other side items and drinks to go with your meal since it's located inside a grocery store. One oddity here that threw me off on my first visit is that you actually order and pay for your food at the cash register up front for the Arirang Market. You then take the receipt back to the Nara counter at the back of the market to receive your food. If you enjoy Korean food, this place is definitely worth a try!"
"I tried their ddukbokki & Korean Fired Chicken.. Amazing.. Especially their fried chicken is really really good.. I strongly recommend this place and fried chicken"
"Really delicious food. We catered TaKorea for lunch and it was excellent. Highly recommend the birria tacos and KFC!"
"I'm so grateful for this place! The kimbap is delicious and fresh! I miss my mom's Korean food and this adorable stand hits the spot without having to drive out to upper Arlington"
"Amazing chicken. The fries are outstanding. service was excellent and it is gorgeous inside!! If you enjoy chicken, the crispy GOOD kind...you won't wanna miss this spot folks if you ever roll through delaware"
"Not bad, but my experience just needed a little work. It was really hard to hear the worker taking the order. I'm not certain if it was the truck, or what. I knew what I wanted, and was trying to go in order of their sign, but she kept skipping around to different areas, which threw me off a bit. It may have just been a huge communication thing, because it was hard to hear. What I got was ok... they really skimped on the meat portion here. I probably received the equivalent of 2 tbsps of chicken unfortunately, and with you paying $9+ for a bowl--- That can be a make/break for considering patronage of the truck in future visits. The plus side is that you can make yourself some really healthy options, and it's nice to take a break from the deep fried mess trucks that are all over. They at least win my respect on that end, but the experience unfortunately was not seamless from start to finish. Perhaps better luck next time."
"What a gem. We ordered this on a whim hoping for some great Korean food. We truly were not disappointed. The kimchi rice was fantastic with just the right amount of heat on the back end. The Duk Bakki was excellent as was the bibimbop. The gimbap was the best that I have had in years. I'm looking forward to actually visiting."
"We tried the garlic soy and spicy garlic wings and parmesan fries. The wings were crispy and flavorful! I liked the spicy garlic more which I think had more flavor. I want to say I wish it was a bit more saucy but not sure if having it delivered played a part but it was still good. Fries and aioli were on point. The daikon could be more pickly but it's a small side so who cares. I hope this place continues to grow in popularity! We need more KFC in Columbus!!"
