"Wowowow, Neehee's is soo good! For any Filipino reading this, it honestly feels just like an Indian Jollibee, but with a much bigger menu. Most of their food is plant-based with much of it being available vegan, and it is just so so delicious. I'm not familiar with all the dishes, but everything I've tried has been great. If you're not familiar with the food, I highly recommend just stepping outside of your comfort zone and going with a group so you can try multiple options. I always go with a group so I can try new things but also get the Paneer Veggie Grill. Every. Time. Bear with me as I grew up somewhere with tragically no Indian food, but for lack of a better comparison or description, it's like a deliciously flavorful, gooey grilled cheese. Definitely my strongest recommendation. You can't ever go wrong with mango lassi either. I tried Falooda for the first time during my last visit, and it was a hit. They describe it as the Indian equivalent to boba. I can see the comparison - sweet drink with dairy and textured topping - but it doesn't really compare. Very very delicious and creamy with a fantastic texture of basil seeds and vermicelli noodles.They also have a huge variety of home made ice cream. It is very good and very creamy."

It's more savory than sweet and go so well with naan. They're mango Lassie is also definitely worth a try. My favorite dish is chicken vindaloo."

"Recently we ordered from Tikka n Kabab, a local restaurant we found during COVID and have visited a couple times. This restaurant serves halal Chinese and Indian cuisine. We tried a couple new dishes, chicken tikka masala and chicken curry and a previous favorite, vegetable fried rice. Just like our last visit everything was piping hot, had wonderful flavors and the portions were so big we had enough leftovers for a second meal. Delicious and we would definitely recommend!"

Food was good. Drinks were good.Both the mango & the salted lassi were delicious. The paneer dosa stuffed full of potatoes, was so good.The uthappam was something I had never had before just it was tasty.The sauces they both came with lacked flavor however & were on the thin side so couldn't really dip or pour them easily. Overall, I won't stop by to eat here again with so many good options on Henderson & Bethel area, but I would get carry out."

"Mehak is an exceptional restaurant. The food is made with care and passion. My husband and I came for the lunch buffet. The buffet is from 11-2:30 pm each day and cost around $13. I had the tikka masala, lamb curry, tandoori chicken, and potatoes. Everything was delicious: the chicken and lamb were tender and the sauces were savory and perfectly spiced.The staff were helpful and attentive, which made the experience even better!If you are in Cleveland Avenue/161 area, I highly recommend that you visit Mehak. You will be so happy you came!"

"Indian food is a favorite of mine and I love trying out new Indian restaurants when I travel and when I'm craving a nice cozy meal at home. Locally I'm a big fan of Aab and Haveli Bistro and from what I hear, this actually used to be an Aab but they changed ownership recently. I was up to giving them a try and lucky for me (and you) they offer delivery directly from their Yelp page, easy peasy.My food arrived piping hot which tells me that they took the time to really wrap it all up nicely. I ordered the garlic naan and navratan korma and both were incredible. The naan was soft and pillowy but at the same time sturdy enough to handle the weight of the veggies in my korma dish. For those that don't know, navratan korma is a mixture of vegetables tossed in a creamy sauce with raisins and cashews. It's my all time favorite Indian dish and goodness did they do it right! I was really caught off guard by how tasty it was. I'll definitely add Khaab to my small list of go-to Indian restaurants around the 614. Give it a try!"

"I'd heard that the Indian and Nepali food on this side of town is exceptional, and Durbar was my first stop on exploring that! My husband and I got paneer tikka masala and lamb saag, and they both had a ton of flavor, and were enough to have leftovers the next day. We got mild and medium spice, and I will say the medium only had the barest hint of heat, so in the future I will know to order spicy! I'm looking forward to trying their momos, as well as other menu items, on our next visit."

"While in Columbus for a volleyball tournament, I always make it a point to visit the North Market. There is a lot of variety here and I love that. While all of the food looked amazing, I went with Indian food because I haven't eaten any in a long time. So I requested goat curry with three different veggie dish over white rice with a piece of garlic naan. The veggie dishes were very tasty and a bit spicy. The goat curry and naan were excellent. I could eat some of this food every day. In fact, I wish I had a market like this in my neighborhood.The server was exceptionally friendly and the food was fantastic."

"No this is not your Kroger Superstore. My first impression was there were sections that seemed a little bare like either they had a run on items (it is the pandemic) or they were waiting to be resupplied. But their steaks were nicely trimmed and they had harder to find items like salt pork and bones and chitterlings (not into that). There were also sausages that appeared to be not encased like brats which had interesting ingredients that I am interested to try on a future trip. It was a larger store than I anticipated. Yet some areas like the meat and deli were much smaller.Very clean but we were there for Punjabi Oven which I will post separately. It is too far away to come regularly but it is not that far from my favorite pizza, Deschlers and my new favorite bakery, Buckeye. So I will return"

(They didn't seem to be fluent in English which may be cause of phone order complaints) Anyway, the buffet was varied & satisfactory. Something to please both vegetarians and carnivores. We thought the vegetable Korma was better than the butter chicken and lamb dish. Well made bhatura can't survive on a buffet and this was the case here. Flat and flavorless. Dessert and Chai tea were included. In my opinion the quanity of the food was better than the quality. Fair tradeoff for most. Worth coming back if you don't mind that the food is just average. Also, the price is right!"

"We stopped by here on a Thursday evening around 8:30. The parking lot was pretty empty and we were able to be sat right away. Our waiter was excellent, great recommendations, attentive service, and so sweet. The restaurant was fairly empty, minimal decor, and overall rather quiet. We ordered a round of waters to start, and a chai tea that warmed my whole body have a long flight into Columbus! We also order a Samosa Chaat for the table to start. It was filled with unique flavors that started the meal off perfectly. We decided for entrees we were going to all share three different plates. We got the Chicken Korma - medium spice, which was creamy and sweet, the Goat Bhuna -hot spice which was savory and spicy, and then the Lamb Rohan -mild spice which had a nice acidic savory flavor with creaminess from the yogurt. This was the perfect blend of flavors, textures, and heat, and we brought it all together with an order of hot warm Naan!If you're in the area, definitely stop by. If you're flying into Columbus airport, make this your post-flight meal, and you have no reason to come over to this part of town, do it anyway for a great meal and great service!"

I ordered that while my vegetarian friends got the saag and the kofta. The portions look small, but I'm guessing they put cream in it? I was full by the end!It's a much more elevated experience so the food is pricey. But the lamb tasted like it was a high quality and my friend's saag tasted really fresh!We got drinks as well, which were very much Indian-inspired with certain types of flavors and seasonings. Very unique! We all enjoyed what we got!We came midweek and it wasn't busy. My friend had made a 7:30 reservation but there were so many tables open.I liked the vibe. Very nicely decorated and they were playing music by Indian artists.You can find parallel parking, but it was difficult to find a spot so I parked at a nearby garage."

"I wanted to write a really long review to curry your favour for this place, but I'm in a hurry so I'm going to keep it short.If you want your curry in a hurry it's not always the best place to come because sometimes it doesn't come out in a hurry at all - but one thing that always does is it always tastes good and the prices are competitive too.It's great to have a relatively cheap Indian curry spot around here. and if you ask them for extra spicy, these hot, wet, juicy curries can actually be really good. It was somewhere between four and five stars, but the fact that I have been coming here for years, and they've always been consistent, and always good, and always friendly and great value, means I have to give it a five because they deserve it - especially considering how affordable they are."

Our favorite Indian restaurant in Columbus - Awadh - now has 2 locations!The original, smaller location - Bethel Road in Carriage Place Shopping Center - is still wonderful + fantastic, and it's getting busier.Now there's a larger and even nicer Powell location. It's awesome and worth the drive - big, beautiful dining rooms with vaulted ceilings, plenty of parking, a lovely restaurant.Powell offers lunch buffet Friday, Saturday + Sunday 11:30am - 3:00pm. At $20/person, it's worth every penny. There was a large variety of dishes, very impressive - and dosas made-to-order fresh by the chef. (I admit, the dosa - with all of its ghee-buttery goodness, was my favorite dish among many favorite dishes...).Chef Anand Kumar is an exceptional chef. He and his wife Archana are both incredibly nice, and together they've created 2 wonderful, welcoming restaurants serving exceptional Indian food in lovely restaurants with very attentive service.Let me be clear - Awadh (both locations) are our favorite Indian restaurants in Columbus. And the lunch buffet (Fri, Sat, Sun) is incredible - especially if you're not an Indian food connoisseur and want to try a bunch of different, delicious dishes.Go, just go... you'll thank me.VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED."

"So other than the NY halal gyro food truck on Sullivant, this is probably the best chicken over rice I've had in Columbus and also the 2nd closest to a chicken over rice I would get in NY. I wound up ordering this for lunch because once I saw the pictures of their menu I couldn't resist. The food came hot, well packaged and tasted great. Everything was flavorful and there was the right amount of sauce on the food. If you haven't tried this spot yet and you like Mediterranean food definitely check it out!"

"A group of 8 used our lunch hour to dine in at this restaurant. We arrived a little after 12 on a Wednesday and it was not crowded so we were seated quickly. There were several people working and one of them took our orders and then confirmed what we ordered. So far, so good. Unfortunately the food took a lot longer than expected with 3 of the five orders arriving roughly 45 minutes after we arrived. 4 orders then arrived over the next 30 minutes and after nearly 90 minutes the final order arrived. The last person did not get to eat at the restaurant and had to take the meal to go. The service was abysmal at best. We had four waters in bottles when we arrived and had to ask for more water for the remaining people. Rice had to be asked for to go with our meal and they had to reconfirm our orders several times in order to get them right. It was disorganized chaos there and notably we never did receive all of the garlic naan we ordered. To top it off they asked if we wanted separate checks or if we wanted to take the total and divide by 8. I clearly said twice we wanted separate checks. Guess what happened? At checkout they took their total and divided by 8 people. We never saw the final bill, even when we asked for it. I can't be certain but I think we wereovercharged for 8 meals and three garlic naan's but perhaps a tip was added as well? I am giving two stars because everyone (minus the poor guy who didn't get to eat there) said the food was very good."

It was getting busy so the wait staff were all working hard. Only 2 things to note: don't be in a rush if you come here to eat. The food takes a good while to be prepared and served (but it's SO worth the wait!) The other note is the restaurant itself could use a bit of sprucing up and cleaning. It just looks a bit worse for wear which is a shame. But it's all about the food and that's amazing!"

The dishes are consistently cooked to order with our desired ingredients, spice levels, and cooked to perfection. The dishes are accurate, plentiful, filling, and delicious. The waitress is very warm and welcoming, and even kindly inquires if we're ok when we miss a week. She remembers our typical orders although sometimes we deviate and try something new. She's always quick with refills, and while never feeling hurried, she's prompt with the bill. This small restaurant is adorned with an Indian motif. They offer great food for a modest price. We never leave hungry and always satisfied with our experience. Absolutely recommend!"

"I am going to start this review based upon our single visit because I believe that first impressions can be important. Everybody has a first time at a restaurant...The restaurant itself is located in a strip mall in a no frills location. The interior is nothing fancy and the tables and chairs couldn't be more ordinary. But what we found was extraordinary was the service and flavors. As one of the folks that waited on us explained, they specialize in southern Indian cuisine though they also have northern. What's important here is that there are menu choices way beyond what is "normal" than most places and the staff were there to help. Honestly, the menu could improved with some photos and explanations but I am excited to expand our horizons on our next visit. Here's looking for an expanded commentary after that."

Seating is limited, but we did t have much of a wait at all. They even put white paper down on the tables which is really nice. Lovely staff and service. Very welcoming and friendly. I could t tell you what I ate, but every single thing was fresh and fantastic. The selection isn't huge, but it does mean that nothing sits long. I wish there had been a dessert that was a bit less sweet and more simple (even fruit would suffice), but that's a tiny complaint. Highly recommend Clove when you're in the mood for an I Dian buffet at an unbeatable price!Please forgive the lack of photos. I was so excited to eat, I spaced and didn't take a single one!"
