"Terrific food in a casual setting with attentive owner recommending what you like. Order and share with your peeps. Everything is delicious. My personal favorite is the Black Bean Hummus (pictured). It is warmly spiced and balanced. Presented as beautifully as a Michelin-Star restaurant, this dish is warmly spicy and balanced. Just exquisite. We also shared the chicken, so juicy and tender, delicately seasoned perfectly.Their vegan options are every bit as flavorful and satisfying as anything that used to have a face, so a great way to recover from the Holiday diet cheat-weeks!"
"Best hummus. Best service. 10 stars. We're here for only one weekend and I might eat several meals. Authentic ambiance."

"This is the best Indian food in Dayton Ohio and I'm willing to fight about it. The food is always so fresh and delicious they have the best butter chicken I've ever had in my life. It's more savory than sweet and go so well with naan. They're mango Lassie is also definitely worth a try. My favorite dish is chicken vindaloo."
"Please know it's on campus and it's smaller than the old one. Parking is horrible. The chicken is still tasty. The buffet is limited compared to others and the nann was over crispy. The food did have robust flavors like I love however there wasn't and sweets for the ending."
"Pros:Attached their grocery storeMeals are cooked on authentic Tandoor oven - amazing to see naan cooked on itAmazing what they can cook in such a small kitchenFriendly owner and staffCons:Limited menudining room could be a bit biggerPro tip:They do a brisk takeout business, so order early. Definitely get their delicious naan!"
"OK, based on a couple of the reviews I was skeptical of Luna's. Tonight I was hungry and wanting pizza, they had a special on DD so I ordered a large pep and large pep Stromboli. My order was a bit tough on DD and was expecting it to be messed up. Wow, not only did Luna's get my order right (they read my notes) but this has to be the best pizza I have ever tried, and I eat a lot. My hats off to you Luna's for the great experience and food. The pizza has just the right amount of sauce and toppings to give it that "wow" factor. It was cooked perfect and not in any way burnt. Let me give a shout out to the Stromboli! I love Stromboli and frankly have been disappointed in many of the places in Cbus that supposedly specialize in it. Luna's was the best I have ever eaten, hands down!!! It was well cooked, with great flavor and amounts of cheese and pepperoni. If El Prez was to give a pizza review ( i know its not his NY style) I would think this would be at least a 8.5, its that's good, and in my book I give it a 9.9. It blows away all the chains here, and I would put it up against any mom/pop shop for the win. We have some good pizza in Cbus and for me at this moment Luna's is my new #1. Great job!!!!"
"This is probably the most authentic-tasting shawarma place I could find in the Columbus area so far. It isn't in the best location compared to where I am, otherwise I could eat it routinely. When I first started coming here, the place looked a little rough but they have since made many renovations so they must be doing well. The prices have been creeping up every so often that it is getting to a point where the taste might not be financially worth it. The regular shawarma now is $13 and the shawarma plate is $21. The shawarma plate is a huge portion, however. I didn't take a star away for any of that because I understand inflation is affecting pricing everywhere. I took one star away because, over the several years that I have been coming here, they have NEVER had the food ready within the time frame they gave. I always arrive at the end of the time and still wait at least ten minutes in the store for the food to be ready. One minor note is that they don't always consistently put utensils in the bag so if you really need them make sure you double-check."
"Nothing beats Yelp's trending app in finding what people are into at the moment. That just happens to be Birria!! Birria is known as a Mexican dish from Jalisco. Typically goat or sheep meat, the stew is for special occasions. In this instance, I was hungry! Celebrate that!Just kidding! Birria is stewed meat chicken or beef in their case; tacos, nachos, and more with the meat consommé. Super Dipping Commence! This place is far down Broad street I thought I was leaving the state! But its a lil food truck nestled on a parking lot where you can park and wait. I ordered beef tacos with consommé and a coke. I walked 4 miles after Pokémon Go, I needed a power up. Food was hot and fast! Tasted real good; you can taste the elements of the bite. Hot and mild sauce with limes to add. I was good! And I didn't feel super stuffed! Crazy! 5 stars!"
"Very Conveniently placed food truck! They we quick with the food! Took 10 minutes it was made on the spot. We got a lamb gyro and the mix over rice! Super filling and the sauces were delicious the hot sauce was the perfect heat level. There is enough parking and you basically pull up right next to the food truck. A little noisy just being next to Cleveland Ave. but over all super delicious we will be back!"

Solid Mediterranean food at Lavash Café. Surprisingly convenient parking, more casual vibe on the inside of the restaurant. Seems like it's more fast casual than a sit down Mediterranean restaurant, which I prefer.I placed an order online and picked it up. The online ordering and pick up process was easy. I ordered mousakka, veggie kebab, black bean hummus, and tzatziki. All were tasty, but I would consider them standard fare Mediterranean - it's solid but not the best spices and flavors Ive ever had. Order pick up bonus: they have paper warming bags for pita bread and when you pick up a to go order, the pita stays warm.Restaurant seemed clean, nothing stood out with the service.

I went to Yemeni Restaurant while in town visiting family, and the experience made me wish I lived much closer so that I could go here more often! What an incredible place. No one in our party had tried Yemeni food before, but we were all open to getting a good taste of it. We were welcomed into the restaurant as if we were being welcomed into someone's home. It was clear that we didn't know how things worked, and the host/server was kind and non-judgmental about it. We sat down and were immediately greeted with little bowls of warm lamb broth and a delicious hot sauce (which seemed to be house made). We were at a cozy booth in the restaurant which was spacious and had many tables and seats, and was decorated with beautiful photos of Yemen and with a color scheme consistent with the Yemeni flag (nice touches). We were all open to getting a good sample of the food, so we asked the waiter for recommendations. He asked us a few questions about what we liked, and then recommended a few items and gave us the opportunity to accept or refuse - we accepted and were so happy we did! We sampled the hummus with lamb, the lamb fahsah (an incredible aromatic dish of bubbling shredded lamb with mashed potato), the lamb haneeth, and the chicken haneeth, and the waiter threw in a little green salad for balance as well. Everything was incredibly delicious! We also sampled some of the Yemeni tea (very sweet, hot and nicely spiced), and the mango smoothie (so delicious!). I would highly recommend all of these items, and any time I'm back in Columbus I'll be heading back to try more menu items! Thank you, Yemeni Restaurant!

Yum!!! I love this place! I have been there twice in the past month and I will go back. They have poori! I don't see that at every Indian restaurant. It was huge the first time I had it there and full of air. My friend just stared at it not knowing what he was looking at so I popped it with my fork and we had a little laugh. I had the aloo gobhi and the aloo mater. Both vegetarian meals were excellent. My friend had chicken and vegetables and the restaurant allowed him to add extra veggies. There was a lot of food but we managed to eat all of it, including the poori. Oh, the veggie samosas were so delicious!! Overall, I think this is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. I will go back!

This is the worst Indian food I've ever had.Lets start with the good: The mango lassi is okay. 3/5. Now, onto the bad:The garlic naan: doughy, way too thick, mushy, undercooked, soggy. The appetizer: I ordered an appetizer than said it came with shrimp in it. Instead I got a bunch of deep friend onion patties. They're not bad, but it's not what I ordered. The chicken tikka biryani: this is the absolutely worst. The rice is wet and soggy. And the rice is supposed to be the star of a biryani dish, so needless to say, this sucks. No egg, which is a disappointment. The chicken is dry as hell and has no flavor. The rice really has no flavor besides being spicy. I will never, ever order from here again.

I ordered from doordash today, so the experience may be different for dine in. For lunch, I ordered the lamb curry, garlic naan, and the rice pudding. The curry was okay, the yogurt was very strong. The garlic naan was good. I really didn't like the rice pudding, it was a different taste, color and consistency from any that I have seen, it was like baby food. In all I probably wouldn't order from here again, there's a lot of Indian restaurants in town to choose from, anyway.

This is the most outstanding Middle Eastern food that I have in Columbus, and I've tried many of them!We started with hummus and falafel which are usually pretty good indicators of how good a Middle Eastern restaurant is. We were not disappointed as both were excellent and very delicious. For lunch we had kefta wraps and fries, which were also phenomenal. The service was great and everyone was very kind and welcoming. Also very helpful and patient with the scannable menu. The ambiance is fine, very basic with superior food and service. It was nice to see lots of families and groups dining. Prices were reasonable too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

"Great food and nice atmosphere! My wife and I got the crispy chicken sandwich, classic burger and fries. We split everything and we were so glad we did. The sandwiches had a really tasty sauce and the fried were cooked to perfection! I asked for their special sauce for their fries so we didn't have basic ketchup to dip our fries in and that was also a great decision. The service was friendly and the decor was very nice. We are so glad we found this place and would come back if we're in the area again."
"I've driven past this place many times but had never stopped in until I read that they make sandwiches in the back of the grocery. Apparently their falafel is amazing, and they have great reviews on Yelp.I went Saturday around lunchtime and ordered myself a falafel pita and a chicken schwarma for my husband. While waiting, I picked up some Barbari bread, olives, tomato, and mini cucumbers to create a Mediterranean breakfast at home. I also found a variety container of baklava, and some packaged strawberry croissants. The gentleman behind the counter asked before he added each topping to the pitas and I said yes to all - cucs, tomatoes, onions, and the white sauce. The staff were all very nice, and the pitas were amazing. This is definitely now on my radar; they are so convenient for me since they are so close to home.Update: The Barbari bread is amazing. I had read it gets crisp & golden in the oven. I sliced off an end and toasted it in the toaster oven. So good!"
"I had never eaten Yemeni food before, so I did some reading about the various dishes this place had on the menu before I went there the other day. I ordered chicken kebsa and and lamb fahsa. I was a bit confused, because what I got for the chicken dish was very much like biryani and that wasn't what I was expecting? Some of the dishes were very similar to what you get from Indian restaurants, but others reminded me more of Middle Eastern food . An interesting mix of flavors.Bottom line is, everything tasted great. I probably should have asked more questions, but overall I was very happy with what I got. (Except the naan - I think it had been prepackaged in the paper bag, and as a result it was pretty dried out. I was able to rehydrate it a bit and it worked out.)"
"Dang! Dang! I should have tried this place sooner. I haven't worked my way through their (mainly sandwich) menu, yet - but I plan to. So, all I had today was their Pine Coast Smash Burger - simply the best burger in years - two smashed and perfectly griddled burgers, cheese, and a fried egg. Best Burger in Years! Best! The fries aren't shabby either. The chef let me try their homemade kimchi (I love kimchi) and it was great. They get their beef and grind it themselves - perfect grind for a smash burger. This place deserves to be supported. Go!!!! Did I say the people are nice as can be too?"
"Don't blink or you you will miss this new little gem. We decided to try out a new Mediterranean restaurant and let's just say it did not disappoint The parking I could see be a challenge however we had no issues with parking at approximately 6pm. It's a shared parking lot woth a few other businesses. The inside is nicely decorated, roomy, and very clean. The service was great friendly and quick. Just like we like it. The menu was a wide variety something for everyone. Even included a kid menu with more traditional food like a hamburger. Prices are great and the portions are large. You will not leave hungry. We ordered a dew different things to try out the menu 1. Large order of fries $7.99 I like to think I am a fry snob lol and love to try them aleverywhere I go. Anyways they were nicely fried crispy on the outside and creamy in the middle. What made them stand out from others was the seasoning and wait for it. It was only lemon pepper lol and let me tell you I don't know if I can go back to just salt again. The lemon pepper on the fries was just the right zip I needed. No ketchup needed either and I never thought I would say that lol also this could have easily been a side for 2 to 4 people.2. Large Greek salad added Chicken shawarma. I cannot remember the price. But the amount of chicken I got on the salad was crazy and had a great flavor my taste buds really enjoyed the seasoning (garlic, cumin, cardamom, maybe cinnamon, and tumeric) all the tangy, sweet, warm, and smokey in each bite. The dressing was very refreshing with a red wine vinegar. 2. Beef shawarma $10.99 and I swear this was the size of a toddlers arm. The juicy tender beef with more amazing seasoning I swear this place had tons of flavor (garlic, lime, cardamom, and again maybe cinnamon) with some fresh veggies lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Wrapped in tortilla and you can easy eat this with one hand driving down the highway lol. The side of sauce also is packed with flavor such garlic and I loved it.Anyways don't pass it up and stop in try something today"
"Decent halal ny gyro food you get in Midwest compared to the original in the east coast but it will do it for now. Service is good. Good takes about ten to fifteen mins after you order.$7 and it comes with rice, choice of meat , small salad in the box and a soda.We go with mixed meat, white and red sauce. We tried bbq sauce as well but it doesn't go well that much."
"08/24/24-One of the BEST customer service! The service here is amazing and the food totally worth the money definitely recommend it. REALLY nice group of people! Please DO NOT allow anyone to make you think you need to change your business name. People need to worry about BIGGER issues out there! I LOVE the website... it is an eye Catcher for sure. I ordered take out the "Cluckers N' Fries 3 chicken Cluckers "HELD," krispy fries, K.O. sauce, side of pickles, Goku sauce, side of coleslaw." My friend got the "Cluckers N' Fries 3 chicken Cluckers "No Kick/and one HELD" krispy fries, K.O. sauce, side of pickles, Goku sauce, side of coleslaw. The Tenders were very tasty. My friend thought so as well and she liked that the HELD . I love the trays that the food is served on "it's the little things" well worth my drive from the other side of town.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishesJalapeño Poppers, Chicken Clucker, Cluckers N' Fries, Krispy Fries, Shaved IceParking spacePlenty of parkingParking optionsFree parking lotKid-friendlinessDefinitelyWheelchair accessibilityBig enough"
"Headed out of the way to try out AnA Shawarma and it is totally worth it. They are located about 15 minutes out from downtown Columbus. You can spot them within the Marathon gas station parking lots. Their menu specialize in Shawarma Platter, Gyro and Philly Cheesesteak. I got the Chicken Shawarma and it is super good. The chicken is well marinated and very tender. Pair very well with the flavored brown rice and the signature white sauce. It you like to take on some heat, you can ask for some hot sauce drizzle as well. Another part that I like is the lettuce salad with tomato, which help to balance and cleanse out the palate. The owner is super nice and welcoming. I would have to come back to try out the Gyro or the Philly Cheesesteak."
"The food is delicious and the service is always top tier. The manager or owner runs a tight ship and always works with pride. Would recommend to vegetarians and anyone in between. Love the late hours!"
"Dahab is right on Fishinger and is a must visit if you enjoy Mediterranean foodWe ordered the Combo Platter which is enough for 3 people. Comes with Rice, Salad, Hummus and Pita. The kebabs are juicy and seasoned to perfection It comes with Chicken and beef Kefta, chicken Tawook and Beef Tawook. The Hummus was so fresh. Salad was refreshingWe also ordered the half chicken and it was delicious as wellThe ambiance is clean and service is fast"
"I've tried the food truck three times now, and the food is amazing. They've consistently maintained the quality. My favorite is the chicken sheesh kebab. It takes a little time for the food to be prepared since they make the meat to order, so I recommend placing an order over the phone before picking it up."
"Based on the reviews and pictures (on other sites) I think I was just expecting a better experience. The chicken had very good flavor and portion was generous, but the order did not come as described at all. It was supposed to be on a salad with (yum!) garlic white sauce. I received four little shreds of iceberg and a sad barely drizzle of sauce. The sauce is everything and I missed it. Hopefully they were just having an off night?"
