Gwen W. "I was looking on Street Food Finder's app, and saw that PB was at a church's Fall Festival today. Since I drive by it on my way home, and was headed back from the grocery store, 1+1= Lunch! The Festival started at 2 pm, and I got there around 2:30, so I was happy to beat the crowds/line. The lady and gentleman running the truck were pleasant. I felt a surge to defend and promote Yelp, when they explained there dislike of the "social" website, and felt it was "just like bullying". I assured them it's a great organization, and added that they have 4.5 stars on their page - good for them!I was having a hard time choosing between their Chicken Salad Croissant and the Brisket Philly. They were helpful and let me try a bit of the meat before deciding. Oh, the chicken salad mix. There brisket meal is soaked in a pickled, vinegar tasting, concoction. I wasn't feeling the tart, so I went with their Chicken Salad. Wow, excellent sandwich! A huge globe of the mix plopped on a large croissant with lettuce and tomato to top. I could totally taste the smoked flavor. The white sauce was not overwhelming at all. The owners make this staple fresh every day. Well done! This sandwich was completely worth the $8. I'm sure if I got a side dish, I would have been too full to eat it."

We also got the fish "#6" and another masterpiece made with love! I could go on about service and sides. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!"

Alicia R. "When an establishment makes such bold proclamations like "BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH IN COLUMBUS," I have to investigate such claims. Between this and rumors of Chicken & Waffles ice cream, I was beyond intrigued when I approached the truck on a recent Sunday. Unfortunately, they were out of the aforementioned ice cream, but I was able to get my hands on the crispy chicken sandwich. Was it the best? I don't know, I haven't eaten every chicken sandwich in town (yet), but they're damn close. The chicken isn't weighed down with heavy breading, it's somehow light and crisp, with fresh tasting toppings, and a fluffy bun to boot. If you like dill, you will appreciate the herby sauce they use. My companions had the fried potatoes as well, and were in heaven. I still need to go back for the ice cream, but if this sandwich was any indication, it will be worth the trip."

Denisha P. "I should have came here first instead of street food finder. I have been wanting to try this food truck for quite some time, when I finally did yesterday evening, I was very excited to only be disappointed, let's get to the food.Ultimate ComboThe chicken empanada was not the star dish, the chicken was overcooked and extremely salty, the rice and peas had a good texture, perfectly seasoned , yet sort of dry. The salad was just that, a salad, nothing fancy, and it was close to being a day old, with a lot of brown edges. My recommendation: The should have put more thought into, add some color, cilantro avocado, sliced tomatoes, would have been great. Lastly, the plantains were the best :) absolutely no complaints, caramelize and tasted perfectly . I had high hopes for the empanadas sucks they were horrible."

This Hawaiian luau themed event involved Aloha Aina's food, buffet style. First off, hat off to Sara exudes personality, and it was a pleasure chatting with her about her food truck, and their plans for the future. Can I just give a sincere shout out to the pulled pork! It was incredibly tender and juicy; pillow soft. I actually loved the fried spam, too. I didn't think it was outrageously salty, no more than your regular run-of-the-mill supermarket smoked sausage (Hillshire, Eckrege, etc.). Tasty potstickers, and their macaroni salad? Love the potato chunks included in the mix - added to the subtle flavor (I don't like pasta salads that load on the dressing; if you can't showcase without loading on some liquid sauce concoction, then you probably need to go back to the drawing board, imo). Topping off the evening was Aloha Aina's dessert, Haupia, a cold coconut custard that's well known to the Hawaiian culture. Subtle, refreshing, anvery good. And. Very. Addictive."

I had a torta (a sandwich on a roll) that had roasted pork, hot peppers, LTO, and hot sauce. It was a great sandwich for $6. As close as it is to me I should be going back on a regular basis."

Placed our orders for Sliders, Sweet tater chips and Pirate Rum(less) Punch, took our number and headed inside the D-Hall to pay.The order was delivered in good time by the friendly wait staff. The mini burgers, excellent, perfectly cooked, tasty toppings that didn't take away from the star of any burger, the Ohio Beef. House made sweet tater chips in brown paper sacks were a perfect side and just the right size but, I easily could have munched on these all day long. And the pirate punch? OK it was a couple of cans of fruit punch but i'll give 'em points for having fun with the days theme.Overall for my first try of the OH! Burger today gets 5 Yarrs Mateys! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, greens, baked beans and Mac and cheese. The pulled pork sandwich was a little small and had very little flavor to it plus side was that it was super moist. The greens had some pork in it but again not much flavor to them. The baked beans were made with Bush's baked beans and had a nice thick sauce with a good sweetness to them. On the Mac and cheese, made with cheddar cheese and Velveta, again some flavor needs added. Overall they were just okay, I chalked it up to being new and trying to wage their way in the business."

I've heard great things about it and the other bbq I typically eat at our town events was not there so I took advantage of this opportunity. They ran out of certain sides about 2 hours in to the event and people were having to wait about 30 minutes for food after ordering. The portions were VERY small all things considering, the sides tasted like they were frozen/straight out of a can, and the meat was over seasoned. Definitely not worth the prices they charged. With I could offer a better review but I won't be going back and I would not recommend. There are better bbq places out there. This one was nothing special."

Maybe do a double fry on them so you don't have to fry them so long to ensure they are done. The chicken wing special was good except for the fries. The crack and cheese was a little too sweet for me, and to much pepper. It was later and the day so I will give it another try closer to when they first open. They should sell beverages or at least water. The wait on food was a bit long. They said 20 minutes and it was more like 40 minutes."

While Hot Chicken Takeover certainly wears the Columbus' fried chicken crown, Mya's fried chicken is no joke. The thick crispy exterior and juicy interior of Mya's fried chicken are marvelous. As opposed to heat at HCT, Mya's pleases the palate through sweetness. Their herbed honey drizzle is delicious especially when combined with the slightly salty seasoned skin.If you don't feel like using your hands, the chicken sliders are a solid choice. They are composed of succulent pieces of boneless chicken served in homemade biscuits. I definitely would visit Mya's more often, but it's just a little out of the way for me in Clintonville. Luckily I get my haircuts in the same building, so I try to go at least once a month."

I fell head over heels for their colorful printed t-shirts, and I'd been wanting to try their South African food ever since they started their truck. S. African food does have Indian influences, so I was pumped. I tried the Crispy Yellow Chicken dish - breaded chicken pieces, a yellow curry sauce on top of rice. It was an excellent dish!! Damian was right, the curry was not spicy, just nicely spiced with flavors that all blended really well. The chicken pieces were tender, and the breading was on the lighter side, which was perfect!Damian pointed out if you buy a Fetty's shirt, and you wear it to the truck, you get $1 off your meal every time. Sam P. "While there are lots of terrific food trucks in town, there are not nearly as many good food CARTS. New American Deli helps to address this gap. The menu when I stopped by recently at the Pearl Alley Market was limited to just three sandwiches: turkey bahn mi, ham and swiss, and their 21 day reserve corned beef. I had been kind of in the mood for a ruben even before I saw the cart, so it was like a sign from above. Corned beef it was. And boy was it delicious. Cut fairly thick, the sandwich had a hearty (but not obnoxious) measure of meat. It was griddled so that the cheese melted and held everything together. I opted for a roll instead of the rye bread on the menu. I'm not sure where they source the bread, but it was excellent with a nice crust and softer interior bite. The quality of the corned beef was top notch, some of the best I've had recently. I wouldn't hesitate to get it again.Nor would I hesitate to seek them out elsewhere. According to the operator of the cart, they also have a breakfast menu which they're currently serving on Saturdays at the Clintonville Farmers market. Some of the things he described as on the menu were quite enticing. All in all? A fantastic new addition to Columbus."
