"My daily coffee fix. The staff is super cheerful and helpful, the coffee is great, and always a good time"
"Reading the other reviews on here is kinda weird. But based on what they're saying and the location of this truck I have to assume they simply haven't tried anywhere else. While it is reasonably priced, I felt everything EXCEPT the brisket was very subpar. The sides were bland, I would be shocked if the mac n cheese isn't from a box and the green beans had canned written all over them. Edible, but not what I expected. Wings were tender, meat fell of the bone. But the flavors just weren't there for me.Now that BRISKET! The brisket was the real deal. I loved the thick cut slices, it had a great bark and was super tender. The brisket was everything I had hoped this place to be. It's unfortunate the other menu items just weren't hitting it for me. Its still always nice to support a black business. If I'm ever in the area again, I definitely wouldn't mind stopping for some brisket."
"Rime Time is stationed right outside the main entrance to Crooked Can/Center Street Market. We visited on a very hot day, so it was a no brainer to try one of the refreshing popsicles. I went with the simple strawberry and my SO tried the strawberry limeade. We both enjoyed them!"
"I had read and heard good things from the local Facebook page so I decided to order lunch here. It's unfortunate that I did because my money and subsequent hunger could've gone a lot further elsewhere. I ordered the beef brisket meal ($8.50) that comes with a side (Mac & cheese) and a drink (can of Sprite). The first thing I noticed was the minimal portion size. One scoop each of the brisket and Mac and cheese. Next thing I noticed was the lack of flavor and dryness of the brisket. The brisket was very bland and if it were not for the Carolina Gold BBQ sauce it would've been tough to eat. The Mac and cheese didn't seem homemade but it did taste decent. All in all, I was very disappointed considering what I heard/read. Flavorless, dry brisket with minimal portion sizes isn't what one looks for in BBQ but we all have different palates. I typically give places at least two opportunities to win me over so I'll likely stop by again and update this review as well."
"Wow! I've had their delicious wings multiple times on "wing Wednesday" ($1.50 wings and they are HUGE) but today was the first time I tried their tacos and was not disappointed! Absolutely wonderful. Totally stuffed full of greatness. My mind is honestly blown. Highly recommend 100%. Added bonus that the couple that run the place (Steph & Robyn) are some of the nicest folks you'll meet these days. Definitely stop in and say hi! You'll leave with great food and some new friends."
"Great place to get ice cream or a quick bite and convenient location! A staple of the local campus community."
"Taco Truck Extravaganza 2010 continues with our adventure to Whitehall this afternoon. Hoping that the taco trucks would find us, instead of going by the Alive or Yelp guides (just testing the chaos theory, folks - the Alive article and the Yelp lists are wonderful), we happened upon Taqueria La Morena right about the time we were going to pass out from hunger (no, really - I kept forgetting to "go" at green lights...). Turns out, this taco truck has only been open a couple weeks - and it's a newbie definitely worth checking out. So, we ordered something similar to what we got at La Super Torta II (the last taco truck on this summer of taco wonderment): here, we got one each carne asade taco, cabra (goat) torta, and a pineapple drink, the name of which sadly escapes me. The tacos were good (I liked the chorizo ones at La Super Torta better), but the torta here was outstanding - five stars. The bread was slightly less condensed than at the last taco truck, making it easier to eat, and the cabra meat was so tender and delicious... The torta also had shredded raddish and cilantro, and the owner (I assume) was kind enough to provide us with three types of hot sauce, all of which were too hot for me, but which the boy thoroughly enjoyed (esp. the habanero). There were also plentiful freshly cut limes for all of our food. The man who I'm guessing is the owner was really nice - I will have to ask the boy what his name was, as they were conversing in Spanish and I know possibly the least Spanish of any American ever (fail, considering that I'm around Mexican guys so much). Anyway, the owner's family was hanging out and the boy had a conversation with him and another man about where to find charcoal roasted goat in Cbus (apparently nowhere - but if you know a place, PLEASE let me know!). This was a really great random find in Whitehall. Like I said, La Morena is new - the food is excellent and the service is friendly and nice - so if you're in the neighborhood, show them some love. Support your local businesses - and your local taco trucks! Taco trucks forever!!"
"I discovered 700 Bryden Community thanks to the Olde Towne East Art Walk. After some conversations with the local artists I found out the building has been reimagined and is a community/shared office space. There are a bunch of different tenants, and vendors, and they host local events, and workshops. This is so cool to see a space for local artists and small business entrepreneurs and really exited to see this instead of tearing it down or more condos. They even host weekly food trucks on Friday and the OTE Art Walk once a Month on a Saturday. I totally did the food truck today! I was so excited! You can rent have Professional Offices, Artist Studios, and Conference Rooms at 700 Bryden and there is a tasty bakery called Bad Temper Bakeshop. FYI - they have the best Focaccia Bread. For more info about the community check out their webpage at www.700bryden.com/community. You can find the events calendar at www.700bryden.com/eventsFind them on Social Media at:instagram.com/700bryden facebook.com/700BrydenReally cool and I found my new Friday Lunch spot!"
"Had this food truck and it was delicious. They had good service and the truck was playing awesome music. I ordered the pasta bowl with eggplant, peppers, spinach, and artichoke with marinara sauce. Loved the amount of customization possible. THANK YOU for having a vegetarian protein option!!!!!!! :)"

Very friendly staff and the coffee is amazing. I had an iced latte with a spice they have there. It was very good. Great location as well.

We just moved into the area and I have driven by the Park Rd. location as we moved items. Today at 4, I saw they were opened and we stopped for dinner. I grabbed 3 orders of pulled pork, a full rack of ribs, and 2 orders of mac and cheese. The sauce is okay. A good mix of sweet and spicy. Not too overwhelming for kids. I might ask for the pulled pork without it on it next time (just a preference). Next time, I'll also probably try the spicy sauce on my own. It was good on the ribs, though. The ribs were great. I think they know definitely know their way around a smoker and bbq. The ribs were tender, smoky, and well-balanced with the sauce. I like the packaging, too, because the container can go straight in the fridge. The Mac and cheese was solid. My wife liked it, and we ate both servings between the two of us.For the money, we will be back. BBQ can be expensive to make on your own and buy already cooked. They've done a great job of balancing cost and quality. We will be back!

It's been so hot here in Columbus and this was the blessing I needed! I tried Rime Time pops for the first time at the Dublin Market and they were amazing! I got the Coconut Pride while my boyfriend picked out the Mango Lime! The coconut pride was perfect! It was beautiful and tasty. The flavors are very natural and not overly sweet which is exactly what I liked about them. My boyfriend on the other hand tends to go for the heavily sweet popsicles at the store, and while he thought it was good, he said he would rather go for something sweeter in taste. If you are someone who likes the natural taste of things and are looking for something refreshing and light, I highly suggest trying out these pops, you won't regret it!

I rarely give bad reviews, but I, like others here, was quite disappointed with my experience, after hearing it talked up on all the local Facebook groups.First and foremost, the prices are outrageous especially for the quality of food you get. Next up the staff mixed up my wife and I's order and we each agreed the food wasn't good at all. Reminded me of a school lunch in grade school.I'd recommend passing on this place and spending your money elsewhere, otherwise you'll come away with a much lighter wallet and an unsatisfied stomach.

So I can't give 5 stars because it's take out only and I had to drive 25 mins to where I was eating (that's my fault). That being said, the food and service was Top Shelf! My order was for a party so I ordered a large variety and somehow even the onion rings were still crisp after the long ride. You can tell how they actually care about the food and business from the depth of flavor in every item. Ohh and another thing! If you're going to have chicken wings as your staple... have HQ chicken!! And they Do!I'll Be Back

What a great place just off the highway! When you hear the phrase "hole in the wall", this is it! Staff were quick to take our orders and friendly. The prices were amazingly affordable. Family of 5 with drinks roughly $35 total. Minimal outside seating. Ice cream was a bit too soft but can't complain, it was sure tasty! Neat town to check out

What a beautiful place. So many small businesses with just absolutely great people. I want to say God has given His Spirit to this building. I love everyone here. In Jesus name, amen. God bless everyone here and reading this.

"These might be the best corn tortillas I have ever had. They are really soft and fresh. I really enjoyed the tacos, but the rice and beans actually stole the show. Don't miss out on those sides. They offer fresh red and green salsa. Green is HOT. Red also has a kick, but is the milder of the two. Service was fast and prices are really inexpensive for the quantity of food you get. TIP: the truck is located in the parking lot of the Beechwold Barber Shop. I used the location of La Poblanita and Google maps couldn't find it."
"Looks delicious and locally (and Black) owned! They are very active on their Facebook page and you can book. I don't think they have a physical location but, they are very responsive and quick. If they do have a physical location, I missed it (sorry!) They have a new address coming up in a few weeks. They do catering which is sweet for both young and old. Definitely a treat for all ages! These cakes are so creative and fun! Honestly, they should be more than the price they are charging, seriously. I rarely say that as the Mr. Krabs I am but, seriously, they are charging State Fair prices for gourmet funnel cakes. They should be double if you ask me especially since they are big, shareable, and customizable. Currently, as of yesterday, they wrote, "Don't miss this summers introductory rate for our new trailer! Inquire now!! [email protected]" so you know I have to slide in the DM! Support local businesses! Support Black-owned businesses :)"
"Everyone hates on Columbus for not having "good/authentic" Mexican food; you just aren't looking hard enough. This is no Tex-Mex joint, nope, not a sit-down restaurant, and no, definitely not within the 270 comfort zone. No quesadillas, no fajitas, no enchiladas, and no tacquitos. So don't expect it.This is a taco truck parked in Speedy Mart's lot with $1.50 tacos, $5 tortas, "horchata and tamarindo straight from the barrel," and not to mention homemade icey treats (nieves). Tacos come with the requisite radish slices, onion & cilantro, and lime wedge. Fillings: asada, carnitas, pastor, barbacoa, lengua, pollo, and tripa. Tortas: quesillo, jamon, chorizo, milanesa, and asada. Red & green salsas and guac on the side for personal flourishes. I like my lengua tacos with a squirt of green and two of guac. These are the best lengua tacos I've had outside of Roosevelt Ave in Jackson Heights, Queens. Miles better than Xalisco and Cuco's. Hours: Tuesday - Sunday, 11am-midnight. Rain or shine."
"Decided it was Mexican Food today. Ordered 3 ground beef tacos and 3 chorizo tacos. Tacos were delicious. Everything was super fresh and tasty. I could have ate a whole lot more. Price point was good too. $2 for a small. Can't wait to go back and try some other things. Everyone super friendly, staff and other customers."
"Best El Pastors you'll ever eat! I've eaten a lot of El Pastors too, the pork for example here is so juicy on the inside but the outside has this perfect amount of crust. I squeeze the lime juice over my El Pastors, then sprinkle salt over them, grab some habaneros and a strip of the green sauce. When you bite into the taco the the pork has the perfect amount of crunchiness and the inside of the pork is so soft and juicy. The cilantro tastes like some one yanked out of the ground it's so fresh and pineapple is perfect in every way. Honestly everything about the taco is so fresh it makes my head spin! This is my happy place!"
"EXCELLENT lamb gyro AND side dishes! I'm 100% hooked and will gladly spend my money here! One of the two brothers who own/run their food stall was great to chat with while the other brother was dominating the stove. By the way, hot off the grill was no joke - my food was delicious and very flavorful because it was cooked to order. For a time, back when they opened, this stall use to serve tagine plates on the weekend (only), but that has since been removed - sad face. I was delighted that ToG's side dishes we tried were just as much stars of the show as their lamb gyros! Their Brussels side was very lightly seasoned, the sprouts were sauteed with a flavorful oil, and I've never seen sprouts sauteed with sliced green grapes! I patently hate sprout dishes that tout all kinds of toppings that brutally mask the flavor of the healthy veggie tag; this side dish is officially the best sprouts dish I've ever had. I got the side dish to share with my mother, but ended up getting a serving of my own, since I was hooked. Same high marks for their Zaalouk side, too. The flavors were incredible: not too much of anything, just plain flavorful! The accompanying pita triangles were an afterthought, as that eggplant/stewed tomatoes/garlic/cilatro getup deserved its own spotlight. On my gyro, I forgot to ask for lite sauce, but it wasn't bad at all; I could easily taste the components wrapped in the fresh, soft pita bread. The meat was so good, and plenty shavings to fill the pita, too. I easily got my money's worth of shaved protein. Since opening The East Market has been a mixed bag of food stall offerings, so I'm really glad I finally tried ToG. I'm sure I'll be back by next time I'm in the area. Shoot, I'd go out of my way for those two side dishes any day."
"Bang for your buck: 9/10Quality: 9.5/10Service: 9/10Ambiance/Location: 8/10Overall: 9/10A great hidden gem! It's a bit intimidating from the outside. Not in a great area and a bit unassuming (but cute!). We ordered two of their most popular dogs, pops, and two ice cream cones and our bill was about $20. A bit expensive for hot dogs, but they were seriously massive and wound up being worth it. The owner is incredibly kind and spoke to us for awhile while we waited and while we ate. Be aware he'll likely talk to you, too, but it's part of the charm. If that's not your thing, plan to take yours to-go.The menu is extensive and there's always a super unique special. For example, they serve a gator dog (yup. a hot dog made of alligator) every October with such limited availability folks are lining up to get theirs. Don't let the outside fool you; you need to stop in."
"A hidden gem! It's totally worth the travel time to the far reaches of the Westside. We've tried about everything on the menu. Quasadilas and tongue tacos being our favorite menu items. Yes, tongue tacos....try it!"
"The guac was super fresh and really good! I like their chips too! I had the steak taco and it was delicious. My friend had the fish taco and said it was one of the best he'd ever had! Will def eat here again!"
"I don't know my friends what sort of better pricing I could have expected to find at other taco trucks on West Broad, but I can safely say there probably wasn't a better torta I could have had. It was so good it didn't make it photo wise, didn't even make it back to my destination. It does take a considerable amount of care and skill to eat something as messy as a torta while driving without making a mess, but I managed. They also have a spicy sandwich called a pambazo that sounded ridiculously sinful, probably would not immediately cause a heart attack assuming it would be a rare indulgence. If I find myself back in the area I will stop by there for sure, I suggest you do too."
"I like Ali Baba's the best of the food carts. It's a lot better than Burrito Buggy and the others that are sometimes there. The food is cheap but is always good. It has lots of vegetarian choices like any Middle Eastern place should. The falafel is the best in Athens, and the sides are good as well. Ali Baba's opened in 1988. It's the oldest continuous single family owned truck on Union Street. They now have 3 trailers, one of which is always at this location. It has a semi-permanent location at Congress and State. They also do catering and will appear at various festivals through the year. I always have the falafel gyro. It's about $5, and is a good size and filling. There's also the typical kinds with chicken and lamb, and they always smell good even though I have never eaten them. It has some good sides like the baba ghannouch and the hummus appetizers, which come with pita bread. The gyros all come with the Ali Sauce, which is made with yogurt. You can substitute baba ghannouch or hummus for it, and it's still good though. I recommend this food truck over the others on Union Street. It's so much better and the prices are fair. The service is always fast and friendly and it tastes so good after the bars when you need something to fill up."
"Delicious first stop on our columbus food adventure tour. We all tried the Al Pastor taco. Delicious meat on a soft flour tortilla grilled up with cheese, onion, cilantro and pineapple. We topped it with some of their delicious avocado sauce and mixed onion and habanero soaked in soy. They had cucumber to cool your pallet down. Delicious taco. This is the original location and I'll definitely be back!"
