"Such delectable delights at this small bakery! Much like the other, perhaps more well known, donut shop in Zanesville, you gotta get here early for the best selection. They have all the classics & some more eccentric tastes too (maple bacon comes to mind) . Don't fret; if you come at the end of their day, you'll still find a great treat. The counter service is always friendly and prompt, better than the other donut spot.If you need anymore reason to try this place out, remember you're supporting an independent local business. It's not just the business you're supporting. Local businesses tend to buy and use other local goods & services. They sponsor local teams & charities. Keep your money here, where it needs to be, not in the pockets of wealthy corporate store board members in far away cities."
"Very old fashioned, old school doughnut shop. You don't see these places anymore except in small towns out in the middle of nowhere. These doughnuts remind me of how they used to be made. The shop is open really early and doesn't stay open too long. If you want the best selection you'd better get there early as they sell out of certain ones rather quickly. It's a small, old ranch house in Marysville. There are a few parking spots and also a drive thru. When you open the door you are instantly transported back in time about 50 years. It smells so wonderful in here. It's a bit pricey for the small doughnuts, but I would say it's worth splurging once in awhile for a classic old fashioned doughnut."

"Love this lil place! This is the second time I've had donuts delivered to my workplace and was very pleased by the quality and variety. My favorite thing about this place is that when ordering, there is an option for peanut allergy and seeing as my coworker is super allergic, it gave me peace of mind that I could a share with her safely."
"Always super friendly service! The donuts are so good! Also love thier inside out cookie. Great little place in the East Market."
"Incredible, local bakery. Great cookies, pastries, doughnuts and world famous Buckeyes. This place is a must visit, old fashioned bakeries rock! Thanks for staying in business and passing on the amazing taste of homemade and local recipes. Must try the fresh, massive Buckeyes with fudge like peanut butter and top quality milky chocolate!!"
"The donuts were good but the apple fritter was the best I've ever head ( thanks Cristy, you called it). The place is one of those old school donut shops, so it had that charm going for it. Amazingly cheap, so well worth it."
"What a cool little soda fountain! Great drinks and great ideas for unique flavors. Try the Captain Jack Sparrow in a Coke Zero!"
"A cute little dinette where you can get all your breakfast faves! It's very busy on a Saturday morning here and customers are packed in the small dining room and bar area seating. Service was sweet and fast which was good could I was hungry! I didn't get their signature donut offerings but I got their pancake which hit the spot. The have a Soup du Jour that I brought home with me that was very good the next day. If you're looking for a diner experience for a fast and easy breakfast, try the HDD!"
"Been to the Toro on 161, so had some idea what to expect here. Sad to see IGA go, but understand they were ready to retire. This is a nice replacement, with dry goods, produce, meat, etc. I got some snacks and drinks. Friendly staff. Soft opening currently, still getting organized. Food truck outside. Parking a little tight in front, and Parsons can get crazy so he careful."
"I was in the area and decided to stop in and get some doughnuts for the family. The service was friendly and the variety of doughnuts was good. I highly recommend getting a blueberry fritter. I'd never had one before and very much enjoyed."
"Awesome addition to Jackson's ever growing foodie scene. A dozen, delicious cake doughnuts for $16 with virtually no wait! My favorites were the strawberry cheesecake, the bubble, the chocolate and peanut butter, and the maple... We also snagged a few maple long johns which were to die for. We will definitely be back!!"
"Just stopped in after a run and met one (possibly two?) of the owners. They were absolutely wonderful company as I enjoyed my shake and energy tea.The shake tasted just like something you'd get at a diner that does shakes right. Nothing "health food" about it at all on the surface. Just delicious chocolaty Buckeye shake goodness.Since I got the tea/shake combo this morning I also got to enjoy a pomegranate lemonade energy tea which certainly picked up my energy levels almost immediately.Highly recommend, will probably make this a weekly ritual on Friday mornings to top of the week or more often if the mood strikes.Bonus points : The inside is immaculate and the people working there are definitely following the guidelines for staying healthy in the age of Covid which I 110% appreciate."

The BEST donuts EVER!!! I was a little hesitant to try the maple bacon donuts. Omg heaven in your mouth! Their donuts are so soft and fresh. Be sure to get there early before they are all sold out!'

Someone brought these in for a birthday celebration at work. I only wish I had gotten to them first so I could see all of the varieties. The birthday girl grew up in Marysville and said these bring back memories of being a kid and picking out donuts on the weekend with her parents and siblings. As it turns out, when my parents lived in Zanesfield we drove by here lots of times but we never stopped in. If I knew then what I know now, I would've made them stop. The square donuts are pillowy glazed donuts but they don't have the sweetness that some other places have in the glaze. I also had the square donut with the chocolate frosting with cream in the middle. This turned out to be a cake donut.

My rating is more for their coffee than their donuts. Their donuts are definitely worth the trip, and considerably better than those found at chains like Tim Horton's, but their coffee is the best I have ever had.I switched to decaf a few years back, and have been disappointed in how decaf tastes at many restaurants. I wasn't expecting much when I ordered it here and was pleasantly surprised. Unlike other places, their decaf actually tastes like regular coffee. It's smooth, not bitter, and does not come across as overly acidic in flavor. The staff have always been pleasant to talk with, and efficient at getting you out the door with what you came in for. It is a little small inside, but it is a donut shop, and this seems to be par for the course.

So Im struggling to rate this place between a 3 and 4 star. Some of the items were delicious and some simply average. The pastries/doughnuts Id recommended: Blueberry old fashioned doughnut has a moist texture very flavorful and nice amount of glaze. The anise or black licorice cookie is also delicious. The pecan praline bar has great flavor and texture. The items that were jusy okay were the nut glazed long john. Very little creme inside and dry. The sugar coated cake doughnut was also dry. The jelly thumbprint cookie was also dry.On a very positive note, the staff was friendly and efficient. Overall 3.5 and check it out for yourself!

Back at Fiiz! Brought the whole family. My son has made this his dedicated hangout... though I thought he was doing Fiiz Wednesday. I think he has been here 3 times this week. Today I tried the "Dare Devil," a frozen lemonade with vanilla, coconut, and blood orange. Amaaaa---zing! Never considered coconut or vanilla with lemonade. Love the ambiance and the family dynamics on both sides of the counter are upbeat and fun.

The service was great my waitress was very knowledgeable of the variety of doughnuts. I bought a dozen doughnuts that I had her choose from so she gave me all of her favorites both regular and Fancy doughnuts. Let me tell you that her choices pleased even my son that is a picky doughnut eater he only likes sprinkle doughnuts, so I had him try an eclair and the smile on this kids face was PRICELESS!! The ambiance of this place is very homey and just all around good vibes. The breakfast is great as well I had the Two eggs with a choice of sausage, ham, bacon or Turkey sausage. With home fries and toast. I am very picky When it comes to home fries and I don't know what kind of seasoning was used but it was so delicious. I definitely recommend this small cozy diner to everyone!! This place does get packed so try to arrive as early as possible. This place will not disappoint.

"Upper Sandusky has a coffee roaster! It's a big, nice space right on the main drag, with country-cozy décor. They roast on site, so it smells great (if you like that kind of thing, and I do).I ordered a soy latte, and it had good flavor and a smooth finish. (That is about as fancy a description of any coffee drink you'll get from me, ever.) Would definitely stop back around next time we're in the area."
"My family has been going here for literally my whole life (over 60 years). I stopped by today and my sister and I both bought decorated cookies. I bought some that were small and perfect for a tea, or in my case, just a small bit of sweetness for a light dessert. The "multicolor corn" cookies were perfect for fall and glad they had "buckeyes also"."
"I've had the pleasure of enjoying bakery items from New System many times and I have never been disappointed. Great business owned by awesome people. Definitely a must-have when in Chillicothe."
"Sugar, Sugar! If you or your day isn't sweet enough, this is a must stop. Every time I have stopped here for sweet treats my family or co-workers rave about the quality of the doughnuts. I can't disagree. They always have a very nice selection of fresh baked goods and you will not be disappointed. Additionally, they also have the morning staples of coffee, tea, and fresh milk available.Add this one to your favorites!"
"They've moved to a new location in Clintonville in a former candy store. The inside is entirely redone. Most of the space is taken up by the kitchen and display. They do have two high top tables with stools for sitting and looking out the window. I bet they get a lot of foot traffic in Saturday mornings when the farmers market is open. Free street parking is available. Today I got the maple with bacon, butterscotch and smoked sea salt, and sour cream nutmeg. Yum! I wasn't a fan of the maple with bacon. It's a big donut but the icing flavor wasn't strong enough to hold up to the donut and the bacon lacked smokiness. Everything else was fantastic! The sour cream with nutmeg is light with a little bit of sweetness from powdered sugar on top. I will definitely be back to try some of the other new flavors. They update their instagram account frequently so you have an idea what's in the shop that day."
"Pretty good bagels and donuts. Their selection is great. The bagels are kind of soggy depending on the day. They don't really walk you through anything. The first couple times I went in, the workers just stared at me and waited...kind of impatiently. Not all of the workers have been that way, though. It obviously isn't bad enough to make me stick to my gluten free and healthy eating lifestyle every couple weeks. My biggest upset with this place is the building it is in. They repainted part of it, but when you step back, it is kind of scary to look at."
"They are truly amazing. I have wanted to try mochi donuts for a while but haven't seen any in the Columbus area until a month ago when I heard about The Mochi Shop. They're only doing small batches right now, so I kept a close eye on their instagram and set an alarm on my calendar for the next time I could pre-order. I immediately put in my order for that day and was so excited to receive them on Saturday! When they did not come at the time they specified, I started to get a little worried but I assumed it was probably because of Valentine's Day. They were so quick with their communication even when the initial delivery went to the wrong apartment, they quickly brought 2 replacements and 1 extra donut. Honestly, these donuts were worth the wait and I would happily get them again. They were fluffy, spongy, and beautifully decorated. The donut wasn't too sweet which is how I liked it and I ate them almost immediately after they got here.Exceptional customer service and beautiful tasty donuts, this is a must try! I can't wait until I'm able to get my hands on another batch and when the owners open their brick-and-mortar store!"
"This place always is a home run. Came here because I wanted to love my coffee and thats what you get from this location. A perfect cuppa! Service was friendly. Helped me figure out a good flavor combo and then quickly got me my coffee. Lots of seating both on the first and second floors. Its very cozy. If you havent been... you will enjoy it. For sure"
"Based upon my first visit to this new Tim Hortons I would have to give this location a two star rating. The facility itself was very clean and nice amenities, but the food experience just didn't cut it.I ordered the combo meal of turkey sausage with egg white and cheese on an English muffin and a cup of coffee. With the combo you get your choice of a cookie, doughnut, or a hash brown patty. The turkey breakfast sandwich was not good at all, the English muffin was not even toasted and the egg white was way over cooked and dry and the cheese was still sort of cold. The sandwich itself was not hot, it was not even warm. I will give this place another try on another visit since I have not had any of their other sandwiches and hopefully be able to upgrade their rating at that time.As a sidenote, this Tim Hortons is where the old Jolly's root beer stand used to be.Review #53 03/21/17"
"I had a dream about this donut from a dream that was a donut having a dream that I donut wish on anyone. It was a protozoic urge, to have one of these donuts. I was untamed and crazed in my pursuit of it. I turned down intimate relations with my sexy machismo hunky beef man for this donut. It's time to have one more, just one more..."
"For a Saturday morning the place was definitely busy and our service was nice. The selection of donuts was awesome. We ordered iced Buckeye lattes but we weren't happy with them, the taste was very unpleasant. The freshly made donuts were very tasty."
"Super cute interior. The employees were very nice and helpful. We tried the dark chocolate, strawberry and mango mochi donuts. The donuts had a crisp, chewy and airy texture. They were all very good but I would have to say the mango was my favorite. Looking forward to going back to try their drinks and Korean corn dogs."
"This has been a Hillsboro staple since I can remember. We have it so often throughout the year, I've forgotten to review. My entire family has a favorite donut. We purchased for birthdays, events, and weekends. I love their location, gorgeous building inside and out. Friendly and fast service. The coffee, however, we have to work on. I'd love nothing more than to skip over congested, Holtfields in the mornings."
"Don't sleep on this place. It's so good. I know it's deep on the south side but the food is worth it. Eyes are cooked perfectly, and they have things one wouldn't expect-like gyros. Things to note: not good for large parties- no room. This is a true corner diner. Come in and sit down. Time moves a bit differently here. No fryer so no fries-sandwiches served with chips instead. DOUGHNUTS-cheap and great deals after 1pm because they closee at 3. Not open Sundays. But EAT HERE!!!!"
"Great new local shop and Lisa is the BEST small business owner. Fresh homemade apple Donuts, custard, and ice cream! Must stop in if you're a local or someone passing through :)"
"You'll find Dockside Donuts located inside Karen's Bakery & Custom Cakes, and available only on Friday and Saturday mornings between6 and 11 a.m. I was told that they're a Buckeye Lake favorite among locals. You'll find mostly yeasted donuts, all glazed with different flavors and colors, like strawberry, chocolate and vanilla. When I visited, there was mostly round donuts, but there were a few long johns, as well as donut holes.Dockside Donuts also offers speciality donuts, like the Yacht Club Southern Banana, which is a long john filled with banana pudding and topped with whipped cream and vanilla wafers. Or the Maple Bacon, which is a long john with maple frosting and bacon sprinkles. These special donuts cost a little more that the other regular donuts. When I visited on a Saturday, most of the display case at Karen's Bakery was taken up by donuts, but there were also a few other non-donut goodies available, like raspberry cream chese danish and cream puffs."
"Best. Donuts. Ever. We stopped here on our way back home from Ohio and bought a few regular glazed donuts. They were so fresh and delicious, truly the best donuts I've ever had."
"Great service and the employees were very nice. Probably the best place to get coffee in town."
"We go to Family Donut Shop every time we're in town visiting relatives in Londonderry. They have these amazing doughnuts they call eclairs, (we call them long johns where we come from). They are topped with either a chocolate frosting or a vanilla frosting and are filled with another vanilla cream. Awesome!!!Those are my favorites. Everybody in the family has there favorites. You can't go wrong by stopping in if you're passing by. They make the days doughnuts early in the morning so the earlier you get there the better the selection. They do sell out of items throughout the day. Again, a great place that my family has made a lot of great memories while eating the Family Donut Shops doughnuts."
"Everything in this coffee house was brilliant! I walked in and my walk-up music was playing. I mean, the songs from my good old days! The shop was warm and inviting and the owner/operator immediately welcomed me.The pastry display case was filled with homemade treats that all looked incredible and I will go back to try them. This time around I had a Buckeye Coldbrew and a breakfast burrito. Both were incredible! As a bonus, they are on the new #PickawayCoffeeTrail!!!"
"Let me just start by saying, I have been eyeing Nicole's treats in my Facebook groups for months now. Recently, I decided to pull the trigger as she shared she was selling these amazing Christmas inspired doughnuts and they looked amazing! Anything to put a smile on my family's faces. Not to mention, they were completely adorable and reasonably priced. I must say, we were blown away! Not only by the artistry but the flavor above all! They were moist and had just the right amount of sweet; not overly sweet at all!I have heard rave reviews about most everything she creates, from her infamous cinnamon rolls to her delectable cookies, fudge and candies. All is 100% home made and fresh! I know she is a regular at the Tracy Farmers Market and her goods are very reasonably priced for the amount of time and care she puts into every bite. I can't wait to try more of her goods! I am officially a fan!"
"If you like fresh cake and lots of sugar, you're gonna love these donuts. They were fresh they were not over done they were not under done as donuts go. They were perfect donuts."
"Donald's is a Zanesville staple. If you move away from Zanesville, it is one of the first places you want to visit when you return. It has been open every since I can remember. My mother was a very big donut fan and she frequented here very often. Their donuts are spectacular. The place is pretty small like most donut shops, so you might want to plan to take your items with you. The staff is always friendly and inviting. I highly recommend them if you want a next level donut."
