"My partner introduced me to Pistacia Vera. He spoke highly of the macaroons and how they were so much better than another place he'd previously visited regularly.I finally decided to try it out, and although I didn't have the macaroons, what I did have was excellent. I had the Lemon Tart and the chocolate bombe. It's a small place, and it was very busy when I went. However, the service was quick and friendly, so being temporarily cramped for space wasn't a big issue. They do have outdoor seating, so that's a plus on nice weather days. Overall, my visit to Pistacia Vera was well with it, and I'd recommend everyone try them out."
"For a Saturday morning the place was definitely busy and our service was nice. The selection of donuts was awesome. We ordered iced Buckeye lattes but we weren't happy with them, the taste was very unpleasant. The freshly made donuts were very tasty."

"This is an eclectic and modern health food spot. They have gluten-free vegan and vegetarian options. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The place was clean. They even sell items that are healthy. They have a scale for your weight. There is plenty of parking in the shared parking garages that are free. The food was filling and delicious. I definitely will return one in the area. Hope you enjoy."
"This is a great place for breakfast; I know it gets really busy at certain times, but we (my aunt, her friend and myself) met here at 9 on Monday morning. We got a booth right away and were served coffee. We each decided on entrees; I ordered 2 eggs with hash browns & rye toast. After that I saw on the specials board they had Peach Cobbler Pancakes. Yum. I ordered this as an additional, to go. The food was great, and so inexpensive that I wish I lived closer. My aunt's friend is a long-time GV resident and well-known here so she chatted up the friendly staff."
"While in Columbus, we came across ZenCha Tea Salon. This looked like a nice spot to recharge to continue our Columbus adventures. Here you can buy loose tea, you can have it to go, or you can sit and stay a while. We decided to stay. Their tea menu is categorized by country of origin. You can also get bubble tea. We got a tea each, I got the cinnamon orange from the Middle East, my one friend got the Strawberry Vally from Germany and my other friend got one of the Chais from India. We also got three scones and Edamame to share. The scones and the edamame first arrived to our table. These were so, so delicious, it's obvious they are freshly made in house. We got, cranberry, s'mores and blueberry. These were warm, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Then topped with butter... Mmm.The edamame was fine.We waited a very long time for our teas, around 45 minutes. When we inquired about why it's taking so long, we were told they ran out of teapots, when the dishwasher is done they would get the tea going. Ok well, that's honest. I asked for water three times, before it had finally been brought out to me.Once the teas had been brought out to us, they came in individual tea pots, and each of our tea cups was different. There was plenty in each teapot for us to share, and enjoy! My favorite was the Strawberry Valley. They were all very flavorful, fragrant and delicious! We had a great time at Zen Cha Tea Salon. I would stop by again when in the area."
"I feel like it's rare to see a coffee shop so hopping on a dreary midafternoon, but here we have Columbus staple Fox in the Snow doing just that! My partner wanted to come because there's supposed to be a Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit coming out before long (if not already) called Foxes in the Snow. Parking appears to mainly be nearby street parking. There's plenty of seating at this location, but we could only find room at a standing counter. They also have self-serve water stations, which is always handy. I got the tomato pesto baguette sandwich that was really good. It was around $10 and very filling, and not even my expansive appetite could finish it. I also had the New Orleans iced coffee. The barista was explaining the flavor combination and I can't remember what all is in it but it was quite good!My partner got a mocha and a brownie - he's a sweet tooth! I had a sampling of each. The mocha is nicely rich with chocolate and not too much sugar. The brownie is also of the same sentiment, but also fairly buttery. I really loved it!I'm not local to Columbus but I would recommend this place for a pit stop and recharge for sure!"
"Best coffee shop in the short north. Knowledgeable staff, quality ingredients, and relaxing atmosphere."
"Love a good local coffee shop. We are staying nearby for a wedding this weekend, and have been here everyday this week. They have plenty of options and there's always something new to try. This local coffee joint is located in the heart of German Village, and next to the Book Loft. We walked over and when we walked in, we were greeted with the incredible coffee smells. The roaster located right at the front and endless bags of coffee. I ended up trying their drink of the day, and loved it. The cold brew made for a really refreshing drink and the energy kicked right in. We also got a few different savory items, the toasted bagel came with 2 cream cheese cups which was perfect for both sides of the bagel. All in all we had such a great experience, and can't wait to come back and try more coffee blends & drinks."
"Love this lil place! This is the second time I've had donuts delivered to my workplace and was very pleased by the quality and variety. My favorite thing about this place is that when ordering, there is an option for peanut allergy and seeing as my coworker is super allergic, it gave me peace of mind that I could a share with her safely."
"I stopped here for lunch one day and tried the fish and chips. I swapped the fries for a salad though and enjoyed the meal. The salad had a sweet and tangy kick and the fish was hot and crispy, yum!"
"Hmmm....this is very unusual. The croissant and the fries were maybe the best we've ever had. The coffee was horrid, and the vegetable soup was mediocre at best. They clearly have the potential to be outstanding, they probably need to revisit all their and aim for excellence.Service was good, and ambiance had charm but the facilities could use upkeep."
"The coolest coffee shop ever!!! The fancy coffees are all named after famous authors. My latte was great. Awesome experience!!"

This. Place. Is. Everything. My husband, brother and I decided to stop by Pistacia Vera while visiting Columbus after hearing numerous good reviews, and it did not disappoint. There were so many mouthwatering pastry options. We tried the almond croissant, chocolate croissant, and pistachio cookie. They were all incredible. What I still dream about, however, is the pistachio latte. I had it hot and my husband iced, and both were incredible, with a slightly stronger flavor profile with the hot latte. My husband remarked it was the best latte he's ever had, and we drink a LOT of coffee! The service was pretty quick with very kind baristas. There is not much indoor seating and some limited patio seating outside. Can't wait to be back here!

This place is AMAZING! It's like a "healthy" version of other chain Mexican joints I know. These are the kids Bols, the adult versions are bigger. We stopped in for a quick snack and wow were we pleasantly surprised! The girls that took the order really helped guide us through the selection process. Very nice and understanding to first timers like ourselves. The flavors are incredible and the steak is tender and juicy. Seasoned well and very very tasty!I got cauliflower rice! Excellent decision.

This place is always busy but for good reason! My most recent visit was on an early Saturday morning. There was about one person in front of us and we waited about 15 mins, but the line was building while we were waiting so make sure to get there early. They don't let you choose whether you sit in a booth or at bar, which I was fine with, but is something to keep in mind. I got an omelette with cheese, bacon, spinach, jalapeños, and hash browns! Loved being able to have the hash browns inside the omelette, it was so good. The bacon was also thick and delicious and my server let me know they buy their meat from a local butcher and the majority of the food is local! I love this place, the vibes are great, the food is good, and the staff is always friendly. Always a good spot for breakfast or brunch, and German village is such a fun neighborhood.

Stopped in on a quiet Tuesday evening looking for a chill place to do some work and mission accomplished! I was one of two customers, the lights were dim, the music gentle and ambient. I ordered the cinnamon chai latte and tea cookies (Lavender and Earl Grey). It was divine! The service was lovely and I'll be recommending this little spot to all my friends!

I always have a great experience at Fox in The Snow! I absolutely love the atmosphere and the vibe, as well as the friendly and efficient service. My favorites are the Egg Sandwich, which is by far the best egg sandwich I have ever had, and I also tried several pastries last time which were delicious. The coffee is delicious as well. This is one of my favorite spots for catching up with friends or doing work and I look forward to returning soon!

On a cross country road trip from New a York to AZ, our first night was in Columbus. Next morning I woke up and had to walk the dog. I love to visit old-town parts of cities. It was chilly and rainy and quiet - just a few days before Christmas. I stumbled upon Roaming Goat and felt the rush of hospitality with Serenity at the helm. I was able to get dry, sip a great cup of coffee in peace and we chatted a bit about life in Columbus. Highlight of my time in that city!

I visited this Stauf's location before strolling around the book loft with a friend. We went on a Friday afternoon and thankfully it wasn't too packed.I can't remember the name of my drink but it had a purple sweet potato base and was really good!We circled back after out book shopping and chatted at a table for a bit, it was a good time.

"Absolutely love this place. The owner is the cutest human ever she's so sweet and always smiling she remembers me every time I come in. The food is so yummy and the tea is mainly why I come. It's a very relaxing vibe inside. It's dim lighting and I like to come and sit alone sometimes. But if you are ever craving bubble tea and it's closed like on a Monday, check out first corner ! Right next to zencha. I always get my taro bubble tea from it. 10/10 I love it!! Thanks for being such an awesome place"
"I can't believe I haven't reviewed my favorite local coffee shop yet! Bottoms Up is my go-to in the neighborhood for my occasional weekend fancy coffees. Their pumpkin spice is 1000x better than Starbucks, and they make a Chai Latte with Maple that is out of the world. It doesn't hurt that the staff is super friendly AND good looking. They are also black and woman owned and donated part of their proceeds to a diaper fund Come support this local gem!"
"Visiting from out of town and after MANY recommendations from friends and family, we had to stop by. Everything about this coffee house was fantastic. From the warm inviting front porch, comfy home like interior, friendly service and of course most importantly the delicious coffee and baked goods! We had the cold brew, oatmilk latte, and vanilla bean scone. Olivia was SO sweet and helpful for our entire visit. We will be returning before the end of our trip for one of their cute shirts and the yummy treats!"
"I love stopping at small coffee shops when I'm traveling and River Road didn't disappoint! They have a great selection of coffee and teas. I ordered a chocolate croissant and a ham and swiss croissant, with a caramel and butterscotch latte. If we're being honest, I'm considering stopping back right now before checking out of my hotel and heading home. The staff was great and joked/chatted with me as I tried to figure out what to order. If I was local, I'd frequent here in a heartbeat!"
"My dad and I discovered this place on a whim and loved it! It's a bit hidden and unassuming from the outside but larger than it appears. Immediately, we were greeted from the 2 friendly employees in the front. The decor is an almost chaotic hodgepodge, but in a familiar, home-y way. I love how much personality shines through the decor. There are green and plants everywhere along the window, Korean and western signs, mellow jazz music, and casual cafe seating in addition to an entire area of traditional Korean seating. There are a menu of baked items, a case of items at the register, and an assortment of Korean, Japanese, and French pastries to pick up yourself and bring to the register. There's also a wide variety of drink options, from coffee to hot tea to bubble tea. I didn't love the bubble tea (no adjustable sugar or ice, so it's veryy sweet) but my dad was very impressed by the coffee. I'd love to try a hot tea next time I visit.Overall, I highly recommend this hidden gem! Super cozy spot for studying, a casual coffee date, or just picking up some yummy pastries."
"For my birthday, my wife brought me here for brunch. My first time here so I didn't know what to expect. It was a wonderful experience, the service was great, the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the "Nourishing Bowl with Wild-Caught Albacore" and she ordered the "Mediterranean Tuna Pita", if I would ever consider being a vegan, vegetarian, or even a pescatarian, this is where I would start. The roasted red pepper humms and fire-roasted chick peas were absolutely delightful, all the vegetables were fresh and crisp. My wife absolutely loved the millet-flax pita bread with Wild-Caught Albacore and sun-dried tomatoe cashew spread. I definitely highly recommend this place to anyone looking a great place to eat a healthy and delicious meal."
"Stopped in early Sunday morning and didn't have to wait very long to place or order. Food was delicious and came out fast. The coffee was tasty too."
"Nice little spot. Friendly barista. The drink was amazing, delicious, and one of the best lattes I've had in the Columbus area. They have some creative flavors too."
"If you like fresh cake and lots of sugar, you're gonna love these donuts. They were fresh they were not over done they were not under done as donuts go. They were perfect donuts."
"Ambiance is a vibe. I totally love it. I didn't taste the coffee just wanted a bagel. Service was great. Bagel was so so, maybe it would be better as a sandwich. I will give it another shot."
"I think I'm well on my way to leaving a glowing review for every Zest location. My trips here look a lot different now; no hanging out in their always impeccable interior. But their smoothies taste just as good in my car and their attention to sanitation/social distancing doesn't go unnoticed. If you haven't been, try the blue almond (I get mine with chocolate protein). It's so delicious, and packs a very filling punch. Smoothie bowls with peanut butter and granola are also an A+ option for something delicious that won't leave you hungry again in an hour. Zest people, if you're reading this I humbly request a location somewhere in the High and Hudson vicinity because I would literally grab lunch here every day and not get sick of it"
"When I first enrolled in classes near by, I was alarmed because it seemed there was a severe lack of coffee near by. I don't know why this coffee shop didn't pop up when I initially searched, but I'm really glad someone recommended this spot. It's proximity is a huge plus but the quick service and great drinks are what keep me coming back. The basic menu is just that, pretty basic. Hot, iced, and frozen drinks. Smoothies, a few pastries. So far I've only experienced the fall seasonal menu, but I really enjoy the mix of classic fall options and a few more interesting flavors. The maple pecan syrup in an iced chai is ridiculously good! The interior is cute, nothing fancy but it's cozy and sweet. The patio area has a decent amount of seating. The staff is always super friendly and I always love when places offer Apple Pay!"
"Pumpkin Latte was absolutely amazing! The whole atmosphere and environment was super unique too, and it was packed to the brim with people studying on a Sunday morning. Totally seems like a favorite around here and I see why!"
"Biscuits are trending in Columbus. Whether it's a stand alone business like this one or a restaurant known for having good ones, I've been seeing them and eating them everywhere. This Woman-owned bakery offers biscuits of all shapes and sizes. Ranging from full on breakfast sandwiches to mini biscuits, all are packed with flavor and a lot have a fun twist. The lemon lavender was my favorite and I really enjoyed the cheddar jalapeno. I opted to get 12 little ones and even froze a few to last longer. Once thawed out they were as yummy as the day I picked them up.The space itself is a breath of fresh air. The theme is obviously bees and kindness, which can be seen in every nook and cranny of the bakery. They offer other locally made items and even have Stauf's coffee available. They have plenty of parking with a lot right next door and some street parking out front. It's hard to miss their neon biscuit sign so keep your eyes peeled for that once you get close.Support local. Support Women-owned businesses, and most of all, spread kindness... while chowing down on biscuits, of course!"
"The chicken tenders and fries were good and the people were nice. The prices are also reasonable. That said, the chairs downstairs were really uncomfortable, the speaker upstairs was buzzing loudly and they couldn't do anything about it. The floor under the table was sticky, and there was one waiter covering the entire upstairs and downstairs. In a pinch or if you are wanting the experience, it'll work."
"I was lucky enough to get to swing by here during a stay at the Lewis Center, a five minute walk away. I was in town for a wedding and was on the hunt for some food/drink before the celebration later that evening. Olentangy River Brewing Company was awesome! It's connected to Roosevelt Coffeehouse, is so spacious on the inside, and also has plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas and orange Adirondack chairs arranged in clusters that would make you want to hang out here forever.I came here with my husband and while he tried a flight of beers (choice of 5 beers on top with a sixth glass filled with pretzels), I got an amazing blueberry streusel muffin from a mini dessert rack by the cashier and a pumpkin spice iced coffee with oat milk from the 'Roosevelt Coffeehouse' side of things; but whether you order beer or coffee the checkout/space is one in the same. This brewery was able to make a big space seem very cozy and I loved the community feel. You can tell folks loved stopping in around the clock for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and the staff was really nice. There's also a Mordisco food truck that sells Venezuelan food parked right outside that offers hot food, if you wanted more of a substantial meal than their selection of home-made desserts (Nicole Soto of 'My Kitchen' on Facebook), instant oatmeal, or potato chips (kettle cooked "Dirty" brand, which is so good). This place has it all, and we were only able to stay here for a few hours, but I wish we had more time to explore this area. Olentangy has got community (run club and other community events), beers, hot food by way of food trucks, snacks to nibble on and a dual-space with Roosevelt Coffeehouse. Whether it's to study, to meet a friend for lunch or dinner, or to make a quick stop for coffee and a pastry, this is the spot to go. I would love to come back!Find me on IG: @gratuitousgourmande"
"If you want a quick Bubble Tea shop, this is the place for you. The bright, airy colors of the shop just make you feel on cloud 9. The staff were friendly and very quick at making out milk teas. I ordered the Taro Milk Tea, it was delicious. 10/10 would recommend stop asap!"
"What a cute coffee shop! Came in here as we were attempting to kill some time and walk around this little downtown area. Lots of people in here working and even just catching up over a cup of coffee with some friends. I loved the atmosphere in here. They had some unique seating, including a church pew for seating which I thought was so fun and interesting. The menu is pretty simple but the coffee is pour over and they do it right at the counter!!! I loved it and loved the smell. They even had bags you could take home and I kind of wish I did. The coffee smelled AMAZING! I went the basic route and just got vanilla iced coffee with oat milk. It was really good! We got our coffee and walked around the fountain area and then walked by the river, too. Definitely a cute coffee shop I would recommend!"
"Spent a pleasurable evening at the tabletop Cafe in Columbus. We started with a hummus basket which was actually very tasty. The hummus came with pita triangles and carrots. During the appetizer we played a yuck game of Bananagrams, but decided on a good old fashioned game of Settlers of Catan. My friend has the pesto turkey panini and I had the pepperoni bagel pizza. Both were good. Staff was solicitous and kept our glasses full. I liked that they had Cheerwine cherry soda and some other small batch soda bottles. I will likely go back. The only con was the menu is pretty limited."
"After the destruction of the Golden Bear Center Colin's has found a home inside another UA staple, The Daily Growler. The combination of great coffee, friendly staff, and community feeling throughout makes for a fantastic independent coffee shop. Yet another near causality of big money development survives to see another day and serve a neighborhood lacking in coffee shops and cafes."
"Meh, expensive for the amount of product. Overhyped, products unremarkable products, young employees, slow service dated dumpy atmosphere. Name is cool, but that's about it. Time for owners to invest in updating it, looks the same now it did ten years ago."
"Went here a few weeks ago for my friend's birthday party. The staff was very accommodating and the options were tasty! The vibe was cool too."
"Im not the biggest fan of Crimson Cup Clintonville.... But wowzers, I like this one at Easton. It just has everything. It hits all the right marks: a great light and airy (clean) feel, relaxing music, friendly staff, plenty of seating, a nice patio that connects with this park-like common area. Its a winner IMOMy honey oat milk latte with sprinkled cinnamon on top was perfect and he used fresh grated cinnamon. i watched him grate it! Nice touch. Tasted great. If you are at Easton, I highly recommend this over Starbucks. Yum!"
