"Had a vegan burger here. Great fries, meh burger. Not a fan of cumin in my burger. They should offer beyond or impossible "meat" for a satisfying vegan burger. Now set all that aside. If you come here it should be for great beer and other delicious German cuisine. I saw great tankards of beer and huge potato pancakes coming out of the kitchen. I really came here because nothing else was open and they had a vegan item or two on the menu so you should totally ignore this review as I am an atypical customer for a fine establishment like this. Decor is biergarten, servers are dressed like Rhein maidens. There are old tymie photos covering the walls. Come here with a party! If you love beer and brats... welcome home!"
"Art Deco Style Restaurant and Bar in a Historic Building. While in Columbius for a conference, we were looking for a spot downtown to host a dinner for staff and customers for our last night in town. I chose the Elevartor due to it's menu and proximity to everyones hotels and the conference center. This restaurant had an ideal menu that I know everyone would enjoy. The Bar was a great place to have a drink or two while waiting for everyone to arrive. There was enough seating and a Big screen TV to captivate our saport fans in the group. Once everyone arrived, we went into the restaurant and sat at a long table that we had reserved. We started by ordering several apps for the menu for everyone to try. My favourite was their take on Poutine. The Elevatoprs poutine was drenched in brown gravy and topped with cheese curds on a bed of fresh and piping hot fries with braised beef thrown in to enhance the flavours. I started with a serving of Wings and then ordered their 'Steak on a Stone', a 6oz beef tenderloin served on a firestone, with assorted sauces for you to dip the sirloin in. I let my tenderlion cook about a minute on each side and had mine medium rare. The service was great, and all of the food came out in a timely fashion. We tried several cocktails and local craft beers to wash all of the food down. The group left happy, tipsy and full, and we all agreed that we had a great time. I will go back again one day."

"Downtown Westerville, Ohio just north of Columbus. Great food and really liked dining here. I had the Pastrami and Rye with chips and couldn't finish the whole thing. Don't skip on your pickle, they are great.Service was really slow but friendly. We were in no rush. Nice atmosphere with dining upfront, by the bar, and outside patio. We were able to eat outside which was nice. Would definitely recommend and some yummy food. Everyone enjoyed their meal."
"Oldest restaurant:brewery in W Va. beer very good and food was good. Service is good."

Apparently I'm still too "from the wrong side of Germany" to enjoy this particular flavor of ethnic restaurant There's more to Germany than Bavaria.Look, the food was great and surprisingly authentic (although sweet red cabbage is a little weird). I needed a taste of home today and I mostly got that, and I appreciate it.But between the oompa music and the aloof guy at the host desk and the confused-looking waitress in the way too short dirndl, this was just... uncomfortable. If you're opening a northern German restaurant with basically the same food and some basic Deutschrock on the speakers, please invite me to your grand opening? I just want to sit at a big table and eat fries smothered in mushroom gravy with a dark beer and a deck of cards. Please.

All the food is just average and overpriced. I wanted to like this place but the food missed the mark. Service and lemonade are good but the food didn't have bold flavors. They have a lot of new Orleans titled food but none of it tastes like New Orleans. I'm from New Orleans so I was disappointed. The portions are small and you may leave hungry like we did. We had to send back the penni chicken because of the lacklustre flavors. The bright side is our server was excellent. She was very good. The other issue was the food didn't come with bread that doesn't happen in Nola. If they take pride in the sauce then you need bread to get it all in your belly. I don't recommend this restaurant. It's overpriced and small portions with bland flavors. The Ambiance doesn't match the food served.

Delicious food and great service. I would highly recommend this sandwich shop. The flavors were spectacular. I really loved that when I ordered my sandwich, the waitress told me that people usually end up asking for a sauce on it and would I like this or that. She recommended two specific options that would be good, and I chose one. It was perfect.

Service was bad. Approached too much by staff while waiting on my other half, then had to flag down to actually place a food AND drink order...the food was great-but not for the price. The burger was pretty small. No table wait-needed another staff person on the floor.

This little spot is pumping out some of the best beers in the city. Not to mention the best cauliflower wings I have ever had. I've been lucky enough to visit this place on two different occasions. The menu keeps a great rotation of fantastic brews and the cooler has a great selection of 4 packs you can go. Staff is super friendly. Looking forward to another visit soon.

We went to Olentangy River Brewing for breakfast, and it was so worth it. I have heard great stuff about Roosevelt Coffee, so when I heard that they opened their shop inside Olentangy River Brewing, I was super excited. Definitely recommend it! I ordered a hot latte with blueberry scone, and it was great. Temperature and the flavor of the latte was perfect. And the scone was really moist. Tasted great. As per the Olentangy river Brewing space, it's clean, spacious, and friendly staff. There is indoor and outdoor seating for warmer weather. There was a food truck just outside of this place, where you can purchase good like burritos and bring it in to enjoy it with your drinks. Over all great place to come hang out with friends or just grab something to go. Can't wait to go back and try out other drinks.

"Good food, good drink selection, knowledgeable wait staff. Quirky establishment, put plenty of parking."
"I was lucky enough to get to swing by here during a stay at the Lewis Center, a five minute walk away. I was in town for a wedding and was on the hunt for some food/drink before the celebration later that evening. Olentangy River Brewing Company was awesome! It's connected to Roosevelt Coffeehouse, is so spacious on the inside, and also has plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas and orange Adirondack chairs arranged in clusters that would make you want to hang out here forever.I came here with my husband and while he tried a flight of beers (choice of 5 beers on top with a sixth glass filled with pretzels), I got an amazing blueberry streusel muffin from a mini dessert rack by the cashier and a pumpkin spice iced coffee with oat milk from the 'Roosevelt Coffeehouse' side of things; but whether you order beer or coffee the checkout/space is one in the same. This brewery was able to make a big space seem very cozy and I loved the community feel. You can tell folks loved stopping in around the clock for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and the staff was really nice. There's also a Mordisco food truck that sells Venezuelan food parked right outside that offers hot food, if you wanted more of a substantial meal than their selection of home-made desserts (Nicole Soto of 'My Kitchen' on Facebook), instant oatmeal, or potato chips (kettle cooked "Dirty" brand, which is so good). This place has it all, and we were only able to stay here for a few hours, but I wish we had more time to explore this area. Olentangy has got community (run club and other community events), beers, hot food by way of food trucks, snacks to nibble on and a dual-space with Roosevelt Coffeehouse. Whether it's to study, to meet a friend for lunch or dinner, or to make a quick stop for coffee and a pastry, this is the spot to go. I would love to come back!Find me on IG: @gratuitousgourmande"
