Christina M. "I stopped by Tiger + Lily as dinner before I went to the Symphony down the street, so I knew I'd be tight on time and had to choose a restaurant carefully to make it to our seats at the theatre. It was the perfect choice! I was in and out in 50 minutes and left feeling satisfied. My ramen was a little plain, but the dumplings were super flavorful and the spring rolls were super fresh and piping hot!I only noticed indoor seating, it was pretty busy, and there were only a few servers, but it was a great experience and I would certainly go back."

Trisha H. "My friend and I visited to try the dim sum. Honestly, I had in my mind dim sum = dumplings, so I was little overwhelmed when I saw the menu! After some deliberation and a little help from the server, we decided on the char sui bao bun, lotus leaf wrapped sticky rice, mini soup dumplings, and deep fried sticky rice balls. There's a lot of seating, even for larger groups. It looks pretty good for kids as far as seating and space goes. The char sui bun was SO good! The bread is soft and fluffy and the meat isn't too sweet. I could probably eat 3-4 of them easily! The mini soup dumplings were really good too. The soup is flavorful and if you add the chili oil, it's really good! The lotus leaf and deep fried stick rice were not my favorite. I like sticky rice but it was different. Definitely fun to try but I wouldn't suggest it."

We got fried rice instead of white rice. My only wish was the fried rice was the same as the regular fried rice dish. It was a little bland, but good if you mixed in the chicken. We ended up coming back to this place a week later and ordered pork fried rice, chicken lo mein, and some sort of spicy beef dish. All were super good!!"

Christina D. "I really appreciate the easy online ordering and the drive-thru pickup option, especially right now, but pretty much always. The food was good - the Alaska roll seemed fresh, and could have just used some kind of light sauce, but some soy and wasabi took care of that, and the salmon and crab were great. The crab Rangoon was really nice, with a creamy filling and crunchy outside, and the sweet and sour sauce is my favorite translucent plastic-looking variety XDI also got the chicken hibachi dinner for later, and mostly enjoyed it. The chicken was well cooked and had a good sauce with it, but the veggies were a little cold. The ginger sauce was decent, but seemed unnecessary - I just dumped everything together in a big bowl and that seemed to do the trick to distribute the sauce under the chicken and veggies.Overall this is a good alternative to my usual Chinese and sushi choices, definitely worth trying again."

Anton K. "While visiting my daughter in Dublin, Ohio, I stopped by the Blue Ginger restaurant for lunch while she was working that day. It is featured as an asian fushion culinary experience. The menu certainly reflects that concept. Chinese ,Thai, Japanese and Indonesian dishes stood out to me on the menu.I opted for a dish called Sambal Samba. What stood out in the dish was the use of Indonesian spices which include: turmeric, white pepper, lemon grass, ginger and Java tamarind. The dish had chicken, carrots, onions, mushrooms, jicama, eggplant, basil with a sauce that was flavored with Indonesian spices. It came with a choice of white,, brown or fried rice. You also had a choice of hot and sour or Miso soup. I chose the Miso soup. The lunch cost $10.99. I also had a cocktail called the Crouching Tiger ($7).I enjoy trying new foods and this was not a disappointment. The service was quick and efficent, the ingredients were fresh and the flavors were delicious. I had the Jasmine tea ($2.99) with my meal but felt that it was not flavorable enough so I took a star off. Additionally, the eating area was too dark for me. The wood for the tables and benches were dark and the lighting was dim. Parking was adequate in this strip mall. If you pay in cash there is a 10% discount on the entire bill."

Mark K. "I've been to the other locations, so I knew this would be good, but it's a bit out of my way. Stopped in today, right when they opened. I've had their entrées mainly, so I thought I'd try some sushi. Started out with the Fantasy Island, which is pretty much a deconstructed crab Rangoon. Tempura crab around a center of cream cheese, with sauces and scallions on top. Amazing. Perfect blend of flavors and textures. Tiny bit of heat at the end. Very nice appetizer. Then I had the super scallop roll, and the sweetheart roll. I was a little embarrassed by the sweetheart roll, with pink wrapping and arranged as hearts, and even served with a small flower display. But I liked the description, and I like crab but have never had crab tempura, so I had to try it. Again, excellent. Beautifully plated. A great combination of different flavors and textures. The crab tempura was kind of hidden with everything else going on, but it was very tender and tasty. The rolls held together well. The scallop rolls were a bit more messy. Scallops and I don't know what all in the roll, with tiny, tender baked scallops in a creamy sauce on top. Ended up using the fork to pick up some scallops that fell off the top, and some of the sauce. Again, well made, and a nice combination of flavors. Service was great. It's expensive, but it's sushi, and for what I got it was well worth it for the quality and quality. I'll be back, to all of the locations eventually."

Nanci S. "Great Asian is a wonderful restaurant in Westerville. My first experience was with takeout. I am always on the prowl for delicious beef chow fun, a Cantonese dish of wide, flat rice noodles with bean sprouts, onion, ginger, and green onions in a soy or brown sauce. The lady said, "You mean beef ho fun?" Being an ABC, I quizzically said, "Sure, if it means a dish with wide noodles?"It's not on the regular menu but they were very accommodating. The dish was fabulous, so I came another time to reorder. She starts speaking to me in Mandarin, so I ask her how she knows Mandarin if she's from Hong Kong? Oi (that's her name) said she learned it because so many customers spoke Mandarin. When I told her my parents are coming to visit, her eyes lit up and she recommended so many dishes she said they would cook for them.Cut to parents' visit: we ordered beef chow fun, ma po tofu, shrimp with honey walnuts, and a steamed flounder that melted in your mouth. My parents loved it all and we came back a second time in one week. The interior is tastefully decorated and spacious. I highly recommend Great Asian Restaurant!"

Chelsea E. "This place is a bit overrated. Not only on the Yelp reviews but also from locals. I had heard about this place from a former coworker who lived in New Albany. She said it was by far the best. So I've had it on my bookmarked list for probably 2-3 years. I live in the Short North so New Albany is out of my way. However, Chinese New Year fell on a Friday this year, so I was like "What the heck?! I'll drive there for a to-go order." What a way to celebrate the Lunar New Year!I'll start with the pros:-Ordering process was seamless. I called it in about 5:30p for a 7:30p pickup and it was ready as soon as I walked in. Just gave them my name, they had me pay and handed me my bag.-Food is well-priced for what you get. All told $11 for a giant portion.-Portion size is its own "pro."- I got the sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice and a Spring roll. The S&S chicken portion easily feeds two. I ate dinner that night and had a heart portion for leftovers the next day.Cons:-Really the main con here is that honestly it's not that good. I felt like the sauce wasn't flavorful enough. I even thought during the 20 minute drive home "shouldn't I be salivating over the delicious aroma of this food?" It smelled like nothing. And when I ate it, there was some flavor, but not much. The cafeteria at my work makes better S&S chicken in my opinion. -No fortune cookie! :( This had to be the first Asian restaurant I've ever gotten takeout from with no fortune cookie. Bummer! All told, I would not go out of my way to come here again. I arguably wouldn't really even go even if I'm in the area. But if a friend really wanted to come here, I'd just do it. Which is my personal standard definition of a "2" rating. Overrated and don't recommend."

Overall Windchimes did a good job of making dining room guests comfortable while the kitchen balanced carry out and dining room. By the time our food arrived most of the tables were filled. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they did a great job explaining the menu to us since it was our first time. We decided to do the build your own option. The buffet was very very clean! You start by getting your tray and using hand sanitizer. As you go down the line a staff member is very attentive to the stations exchanging the tongs as needed. There was a nice selections of veggies, seafood and meats. At the end there is a seasoning selection as well as several sauces to choose from. Once satisfied you pass the tray to the staff working the grills and once it's done your server will bring it to you. I really wasn't expecting such a huge portion but it was more than enough, I was barely able to finish my bowl. Everything was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. Pro tip: get your rice on the sideI think the pricing is very reasonable, $14.99 for dinner and if you want all you can eat it is a $4 up charge (but honestly we thought one bowl was enough, the food doesn't shrink down like other places). I have to say this far surpasses the other Mongolian bbq spots around town based on flavors, freshness, and cleanliness. I'll definitely be back."

I had just got my oil changed and my mom and I hadn't ate since the morning and I did not want to go far or wait long for food. I originally decided to get the fast food version directly across the street hibachi. I looked to my left and there was ichiban so I pulled up and was about to look at pricing, then I said you know what let's just go in WHATEVER!Now from previous experiences I already know what happens and how the courses go. I ordered a large hot sake which is my go to. We ordered off the lunch menu for better pricing. I got salmon and fried rice along with steak and fried rice for my mom. I think my sake was bottomless based on how many pours I got lol. Highly recommended. In addition to our main meal we got salad for an appetizer which did not look appetizing. I could only stomach to eat half based on the look and color. The texture and taste of the dressing made me think they put it in a blender with onions. It tasted ok but looked suspicious. Now to the fun part! Our chef was so entertaining and I loved how he got the crowd participating which again is typical but he did it in a more refreshing way. I usually don't eat all my rice due to the large amount but it was the best fried rice hands down I could not stop. I always try and save something for the next day but had non leftover. The salmon was so juicy and not overcooked and the vegetables were sautéed to perfection. All I can say is that I was put in a food coma and it wasn't even 3 o'clock when I got home. The layout they have for Covid is rather excessive and cumbersome, not to mention poorly cleaned and upkept. Their hand sanitizer was something otherworldly.Prices are the usual that you'd expect. Service is fairly quick - you can usually call in an order and get it in 15 minutes. They're not especially friendly, but I suppose that's par for the course. Tons of options on the menu. I bought a steak based bowl.Steak cooked like most Asian dishes, sometimes rubbery in mouth but fully cooked, seasoned and flavored. Potatoes I like, same with kale and bean sprouts. I would rather have more of those. I also picked half and half. Half purple rice and half super green salad. (They offer steak, chicken, spicy chicken, and organic tofu.Carrots taste different, cooked in a different oil that I'm not accustomed to or maybe the sauce Gochujang which is supposed to be sweet and spicy I picked but it wasn't my favorite. I don't like it but others appear do. Potatoes, bean sprouts and meats are served hot but quickly get cold when come in contact with cold vegetables. I am not a fan of cold food that is meant to be hot. Purple rice (a healthier alternative they say but I don't know why) didn't add flavor or help according to my taste buds. I added broccoli for 50 cents more. They offer eggs and a few more. Not my favorite but I can see people loving this place. I recommend checking it out and come to your own conclusion. The place is clean and friendly which is also important. One important detail. Location is not good. Between Starbucks and Sports Clips. Starbucks has wrap around drive thru and it is supposed to be one way but drivers drive from either direction and there is no room to maneuver. It may have just been a huge communication thing, because it was hard to hear. What I got was ok... they really skimped on the meat portion here. I probably received the equivalent of 2 tbsps of chicken unfortunately, and with you paying $9+ for a bowl--- That can be a make/break for considering patronage of the truck in future visits. The plus side is that you can make yourself some really healthy options, and it's nice to take a break from the deep fried mess trucks that are all over.
