Absolutely amazing. My mom offered to take the family and of course Baby K wanted to go. I was leery, figured it was far away and would be underwhelming. It was incredible. We got there right when it opened at 530pm on a Friday. Some displays on the way in. A short wait after we paid, probably just them opening things up. Then- wow. A ton of displays, of all sorts of subjects. Some serene, some amusing. We pretty much idled along, and that was a good speed to see things. It took more than half an hour to get through the winding path of displays, and if there had been no other cars I would have gone slower. The amount of work to set this up has to be ridiculous. The price, $30 per car, is well worth it. They sell season passes and if you have kids and live nearby it's probably worth it. We figured later in the day and later in the season would be more busy, so plan ahead, but Friday at opening was great. You can tune into their radio channel for carols and info.Oh- turn your headlights off. I don't think they actually said that, maybe for liability reasons, but there is a sign when you leave reminding you to turn them on. And lights off makes it better for you and everyone else. You do have to be careful- it's a narrow two-lane road through a campground. But at 5mph you're fine.

Great Christmas lights! Went Christmas Eve and the line was extremely long, but moved quickly. Well worth the wait!

This is a delightful annual drive-thru light event that takes place at Alum Creek State Park campgrounds. The price has stayed consistent for the past few years, at $20 Monday-Thursday and $30 on the weekend for typical car/SVU/mini vans. If you get ValPak, you can check that for a $5 coupon to make the weeknight price $15. We usually do weeknight visits, loaded up with lap blankets and snacks, and it takes about 30 minutes to go through without a big crowd. You can order your tickets online or pay at the booth when you arrive. The staff is friendly and gives the rundown: you can go as slow as you want without stopping and no leaving the vehicle. They also provide a radio station to tune into for festive music and jokes as you go through. The lights themselves are impressive and varied. There are awesome light tunnels to drive through that are mesmerizing to watch. Santa is displayed in a variety of scenes, from riding planes to having his annual beach vacation. The twelve days of Christmas get their own little section, and the reindeer definitely make an appearance. There are other lights to be had too - we especially loved R2D2, an awesome Brutus, and the giant Ohio 'home" with lighted figures spelling O-H-I-O at the end. There's plenty to see all around!

I always enjoy this holiday lights spectacular. It is a drive-through display located at the Alum Creek state park campgrounds. It takes about 25 minutes to go through it, and it costs $30 per car on weekends. My favorites were the light tunnels, the elves, and Santa chilling on the beach. There is a radio station to tune into for Christmas music that really adds to the experience. Afterwards, you can get pictures with Santa and some yummy hot chocolate.

We love Fantasy of Lights! It's a long-time holiday tradition for our family.Bundle up in pjs, head north and blast the Christmas music. It's time to drive into the woods and see some awesome lights!Bonus points if you wear Christmas lights glasses or other festive attire. And if it snows a little... pure magic!Plus in these COVID-infested times, it's safe, contactless fun from the safety of your own car. Can't beat that!

So we viewed the lights a couple years ago but we're mildly entertained. This time the evening we went was spectacular. There were more lights they have increased the amount of lights they have several local businesses who contributed. It was really a great experience even with teenagers and middle school aged kids along for the ride. They had fun! So bravo that's an accomplishment satisfying those age brackets is phenomenal!

This was such a fun festive Christmas activity to do all while remaining in the comfort of your car. It cost $30 per car although we were able to find a coupon online for five dollars off. I would say it's worth the money. The drive-through of the lights itself probably lasted 20 minutes to a half hour. There was a radio station to tune in to to listen to Christmas music while you drove through the lights. The one thing I was disappointed about was that the music was not synced to the lights. Other than that they had a wide variety of different types of lights and scenes and different things to drive through that kept your attention the whole time. All in all it was a good time and I would recommend going to see these lights if you're looking for a family friendly Christmas activity to get you in the holiday spirit!

This is a one time experience kind of thing. The Fantasy of Lights is a drive-thru of LED holiday lights' display at Alum Creek. It has gotten more expensive over the years. I went first many years ago and it was nice, because there was also a little Santa Shop where you could get off and get free hot chocolate and buy other goodies. However, I don't think they have that any longer, at least they did not when we went in 2020 last. The traffic to get in was a nightmare!! The 20-30 minute display took us a whopping three hours to get through with several places in the line where we were stopped for very long. By the time we saw the lights, we were just frustrated. I do like how they set up their lights to go with the holiday song radio station. Not something I would do again. Go on a weeknight before the schools are off for the holidays as it will save you time, money, and you can actually enjoy the experience.

Lots of lights I guess. Too spaced out and sponsored. Too much traffic. I'll stick to Upper Sandusky lights. More lights and way cheaper
