Based on breakfast alone. Along with this being food served inside a gas station...It left a bit to be desired. This is not the spot I would recommend for breakfast. Nutcracker is right across the street, and I would still go there next time, even though I am anti-Nutcracker(I will only state why in DM). We drove out on a Saturday morning arriving about 1030am. Plenty of parking. The first door was locked with no sign. We walked down the side until we found a wind break portico covering more doors. Now I realize we parked at an end of the building that is not occupied by a proprietor. As you enter, you see the same typical checkout counter and displays with signage. Then you see some tables ahead. Now a deli case immediately appears on your left, hidden behind a display. There's a walk up counter fronting a red wall with menu items written in some sort of hap-hazard order. As our heads were swing left and right like a tennis match trying to see if read all the spread out breakfast items, we were offered a laminated menu. A bit sticky, stained, and creased it was a simpler read. We were not daunted by this first impression. The food was going to make up for this false front of "Whatever".The older woman taking my order wrote out ever single thing I said. It was illegible. She admitted she didn't know what she was doing, just helping out. She had to call the cook out to see if she could read it. I then repeated our order while the cook re-wrote it. Oh well. Was handed 2 rolled up silverware in a paper towel. "Excuse me. I forgot to order drinks." "Just help your self over there. He'll ring you up when you're done". Nodding to the guy standing behind a raised counter ringing up gas and convenience store guests.I sniffed the coffee urn and passed. No juice available. No hot tea to be seen. Fountain Coke products. We both chose water. My wife went to use the restroom, and had to clean it with chemicals first. That's the gas storefront, not the restaurant. It is humorous to think you could walk over to the cooler and get a beer. Pay for it. Put it in a paper bag and drink it with breakfast. Maybe not. Hey there. Nobody wants to walk past the cook in an apron standing at the front doorway smoking. The order of Biscuits & gravy did not stand out. Biscuit was ok, but the gravy was bad. I say that because I would feel bad if someone read this and thought I said it was ok.The BBB did not catch us off guard. Our expectations were met with meh. Overcooked scrambled eggs. Overcooked potatoes without a bit of seasoning to taste. Did you see the pepper shaker picture? We had to use it, to give taste to this meal. Again with the B&G, but untouched this time. The bacon however was a nice thick cut done to the perfect crispness without burning. The Breakfast burrito was decent for this setting. Plenty of filling. My eggs inside were overcooked as well. No side come with it. I had to ask for the salsa. So many small, minor things could make this place top notch. I'll suggest a few. You're not Chipotle. Create a Burrito recipe and sell it. Substitutions can be allowed. If you do breakfast all day... learn to cook a good egg.Get a better recipe for sausage gravy. If you brag about your fried chicken, why not a chicken & waffle dish? The biggest obstacle I see here is complacency. Locals smile and eat it. Staff does not cook with pride. Maybe the much is outstanding, and you should switch to lunch all day.I'm not being harsh on this small place. I've eaten in plenty just like it, at gas stations. There's not a great deal of choices in this town that don't have a drive thru window. Just do one thing better than anyone else, and everyone will always come to you for that one great thing.

I like this corner store/gas station. It has a real small town feel to it. There's an area that's basically a small diner inside. They make fresh baked goods, provide a menu of breakfast and lunch items and also have a small deli case that has ( I do believe) homemade potato and macaroni salad and a variety of lunchmeats and cheeses. I like to stop by here on my way home or on my way to work so I can do everything I need to do at one small place, as opposed to a Krogers or god forbid dealing with a Walmart line The employees are very helpful but also laid back, all seem to enjoy being there. this pleases me.

I can find something good to say about almost everywhere I've ever been, and I've been to a lot of places. This place is no exception. The good: it serves breakfast all day. I love breakfast! We go out for breakfast every single Saturday. No exceptions. #2 good: it's cheap. #3 good:I love my bacon crispy. I ordered my bacon crispy. My bacon came crispy. It was perfect! Now for the not-so-good: A place that serves breakfast everydayshould be able to cook regular breakfast items pretty well, right? Yeah, not so much. I ordered hash browns. They were out! Out of hash browns at an all day breakfast place? Yes. So I had home fries instead. Totally unexceptional. Bland. Unseasoned. I had scrambled eggs with cheese. Overdone. Flat. Unexceptional. It came with 1 biscuit & some sausage gravy. Again, unexceptional. Very bland. No seasoning at all! I never add pepper to my food. I added pepper. Still didn't help. The sausage tasted like low grade hamburger. Very disappointing. Now for the place itself: Buster's is a Gas Station/Convenience Store/Deli/Diner. I know, you're probably asking, "then what were you expecting?" The (1) bathroom was for customers & employees. It looked like it had had a lot of use and not been cleaned for a month. I am not Mrs. clean, but before I could use the facility, I looked under the sink & got the cleaner& paper towels out & cleaned it. Because yes it was that bad! The dining area was passable although not very clean and the salt & pepper shakers had a nasty film on the inside that must have taken years to build up. Back to the good: the workers were all really nice, older people. I love seeing a place hiring older people. They were all very kind and attentive! I just wish they would season their food and clean things up because it really needs both! The only reason I'm giving them 3 stars is bc the people were so nice.

Have to update to 5 star, back for ice cream today, wonderful service! They even had a spot saved for one of the regulars who passed away recently, out of respect since that was his seat. That was very sweet, and I am sure his buddies appreciated that. Will try to post the full menu with prices sometime, it's a little awkward taking pictures in places where they haven't heard of Yelp.

Great food great friendly folks working there. 3 of us ate for $13. Not really a kid friendly environment at least with the group of regulars that were in there today. Will be back for sure and would recommend.

Just finished an amazing breakfast! Husband had the breakfast burrito and he just commented that it was the best one he's ever had, and I'd have to agree after the yummy bite I stole. I enjoyed the gravy biscuits, which were hearty and tasted great. We both stuffed ourselves, and it was only $7!!!!! Can't beat that! We may have to go back tomorrow!
