Burrata Woodfired

Very nice and clean restaurant. We ordered the Italian meatball soup, antipasta salad, garlic parm wings and a pizza overloaded with pepperoni and banana peppers. Amazing! The waitress was very polite but the service was a little slow. Can't wait to stop back again.

First time and when in town again will definitely come again. Big pappa is really good and the honey really adds to this dish. We also made our own pizza. Crust is tasty with that wood fire flavor. Get the brownie sundae for dessert. And the pretzel bites were a good appetizer. Service was great on a super packed Friday night but we got in and were eating relatively soon. Kept us up on refills!!

UPDATE - We've been coming to this restaurant for years. Love their pizza, probably one of the best pizzas I've had anywhere, including Italy. So it was surprising when we learned it was no longer Amato's. It is now Burrata Woodfired. So we had to come in and try it out. With the change in brand etc, they're still making adjustments so no pizza was available, but we did try other items on the menu. We ordered the Angry Pig pasta (amazing!) the Reuben and the Italian sausage sandwiches. Everything was great. Our waitress spent time introducing us to the new items on the menu and making sure we knew that some of our old favorites would still be available maybe under a new name. Great value, very generous portions and private parking.

We had a delicious pizza, meatballs, and salad. Great service and friendly atmosphere! We will definitely go back.

If you want authentic woodfired pizza without any pretense of the service in a cozy & well decorated spot you'll be happy to make a regular haunt -- and you don't want to drive to Columbus to get it -- this is the place to go. Authentic Italian from scratch with too many excellent dishes to catalog here... you just gotta go, and go early so you get a seat. This place fills up FAST! Love the name change, but missing the love that was literally consonant with the name Amato's. Anxious to try the updated menu, including anything to do with new moniker. Burrata Woodfired: Mangia Magnifícamente!

The server was awesome and the place felt like everyone would know your name. Oh and all the food was delicious. Could've used less Alfredo sauce. The atmosphere felt like it was a place where you could bring friends and family.

We found this place after checking Yelp reviews -- which were generally positive. Man, did we make a mistake!Two of the female employees who approached us were extremely rude. It was our intention to order a pizza along with our beverages. And, in the two conversations I had with them they were just plain rude! Eventually, I tracked one of them down and paid our bill. We went elsewhere for our pizza.This is an establishment to be given a wide berth!

Randomly stopped here after going to the theater in Mt Vernon. It was good! Good amount of parking, lots of selections on the menu (and a nice draft beer selection), helpful and friendly staff, and the food was delcious. Wood fired pizza was yummy and the pasta was filling. Already planning to go back the next time we are in Mt Vernon.

The cutest redheaded bartender gave us such great service and told us the best choices and helped my buddy pick her flight. She was fantastic and if you are in the area - visit! The pizza was fantastic and hot, ambiance was amazing and we had a great time!

Beach bread and antipasto salad were delicious but the margherite pizza was the absolute worst pizza we've ever had the crust was completely burnt and almost bare of sauce and toppings we informed the waitress and she basically said thats what woodfired pizza is! Didn't offer even an apology or a replacement! Will never go back! And whoever said on their review that it compared to pizza in Italy is crazy, we've been to Italy and this wasn't even close!
