Buckeye Gymnastics

Not impressed. My 5 year old child was so eager to learn gymnastics, so we signed up for a tumbling and trampoline combo class. The teacher was a huge disappointment! She looked like she didn't want to be there, and didn't enjoy being around children or interacting with them at all. She also didn't take the time to help my child improve her skills, which I thought was the whole point of an instructor?! Considering the steep cost, this is clearly not worth it. My child was so discouraged she no longer wants to go. Maybe another class would be a better fit, but I think the overall atmosphere is not a good fit for us. We're looking to have fun while learning new skills, and it seems that others have Olympic ambitions and the serious attitude that comes with it. Perhaps this place is focused on their star programs and not everyday children who want to have fun while learning the basics.

Love the coaches and our little one has been there a year now. Seeing her face light up when she see the gym and how she wants to say Hi to the coaches lets me know we have a good fit for our Family. Our son loves the camps and friday flips "fun day" he calls it.

We have been going to Buckeye gymnastics for five years. My girls started there shortly after we moved from England. Gymnastics was brand new to them, having danced since they were just babies. They were put at ease immediately and have never looked back. They started in rolling stars and have now progressed to the scarlet and grey gold team. The gym instructors are patient, hard working and dedicated. They make learning this skill interesting and fun. In fact all the staff members there are friendly and extremely helpful, including the front desk. They always have time to answers my many questions and queries and never make me feel like I'm using up too much of their time! I would recommend this gym highly. Thank you Buckeye Gymnastics !

I've had 2 sons attend here, one more serious and the other a "wild child." They did a great job with both of them.The serious boy they were able to train and compete on Trampoline, Double-Mini, and Floor. His favorite was the DM, but he ended up winning Gold at the nationals for Trampoline, and Silver for the DM. Outstanding coaching.The other son was there to have fun, ADHD, and he had a blast. The coach worked extremely well with him, even commenting once "Joe keeps you on your toes, out of nowhere he comes flying through the air and lands on my back. I love it!" He was too much for some of the classes of his age group, but called us when an appropriate class came up.Great way for kids to gain confidence and athletic ability safely. Highly recommend.

I'm new to the area and looking for a high level gymnastics school for my soon to be 4 year old. Went here just for a visit. The front desk clerk was very cold and rude. I'm not sure why, but she had no customer service skills at all. It seem to say to me that they can take our business or leave it. Finally, the gym looks nice, however; it felt very "cold" to me overall, Not ideal for my 4 yr old who loves people and is very happy. :-((

Buckeye Gymnastics has provided my family an all around gymnastics experience for over 10 years. My oldest son participated in the Bear Cubs program when he was 18 months old and has grown with the program. He is now 12 years old and moved to the competitive Buckeye Flyers Trampoline and Tumbling team when he was 4 1/2 years old. Working with the excellent staff, he has learned skills allowing him to compete at local, regional and national competitions. Everyone has been supportive and provided the structure to promote success.My youngest son has also participated in the recreational program. He has made many friends while at Buckeye Gymnastics. Both of my sons have experienced a sense of community during their classes and practice, encouragement from their teammates and coaches has truly enhanced their time at Buckeye.The staff has provided invaluable instruction to my sons, promoted their personal growth and helped them reach their goals. When anyone mentions an interest in gymnastics, Buckeye Gymnastics is my recommendation for a well rounded program and experience. Thank you for all you do!
