My son has been attending Brooksedge since last summer and we really love it. All the people are great and seem to genuinely like what they do. It feels good knowing our son has someplace to go during the week where he's loved and safe. He's in the preschool room and he's always coming home having learned something new. We're excited to get to send our new baby there after she's born.

We started our first daughter at Brooksedge at 4 months old, after visiting several different daycares. She started in the youngest room and moved up to the next room just before we moved to Montreal, QC. After 3 1/2 years in Canada, we returned to Columbus and I contacted Brooksedge again - as well as reviewed several other locations again, in order to see how Brooksedge compared now to other daycares in the area. This time we were looking at taking two girls to the center, a 2yo and a 4yo. I was excited to hear that the center's Director, Amy, was still in charge. She is there nearly everyday when I arrive to drop the girls off and many days when I'm leaving too! The kids all seem to know her and she is obviously very involved in the daily routines.Their pricing includes a morning snack/breakfast around 8:00/8:30AM, lunch, and afternoon snack. For the littler ones, the tuition also includes wipes! I visited a Goddard School nearby and was shocked that their standard tuition didn't include lunch - I would've been packing one for each kid everyday, but paying the same price as Brooksedge. The center is tucked in-between a small strip of shops and a residential neighborhood. I don't think the exterior is incredibly impressive, but the interior is fantastic! The classrooms are open and colorful. They have floor to ceiling windows in most rooms to let in lots of light, and they cover them with curtains at naptime. The back hallway of the center is painted with a beautiful ocean mural. Everything is always clean, but without feeling sterile.I'm finding that the girls are trying and loving new foods, improving their writing and communication skills and having a LOT of fun. Honestly, I don't think they'd have as much fun if they were home with me all day! I always said that I wanted to find a place that was what I would do if I started a daycare and they've exceeded all of my expectations both times our kids have been enrolled. In fact, I'm learning from them too! They're a true partner in raising our kids. I don't worry that I'm away from my girls while I work. Brooksedge is doing a great job teaching them other valuable lessons during their time away from me about peer socialization, respect and trust in other adults as authority figures, and independence. Also, I find that our girls try new things (like new food) that they wouldn't try with me. Some mornings when I drop them off, the oldest tells me to "hurry up and go to work" because they are busy at "school" now. Many of the teachers have been with the school for several years - we saw some familiar faces when we returned. The teachers are fantastic! And let's be honest, they've assisted in raising a LOT more children then I'll ever raise on my own. They have some great tips for common challenges at each age level and by partnering with them, I'm learning to be a more efficient and effective parent. Parents pay a staggering amount for daycare, but with a center this great, I feel like I should be paying more.

My children have been going to Brooksedge for about 2 years now and I have nothing but positive things to say about them! The director/manager/teachers are all so kind and show so much interest in my children. I get daily reports that explain what they did that day (when they played, slept, what they ate, how much etc...). They go above and beyond the standards set in place by Ohio law. I am also one of those mom's who like to know exactly what my child did that day...and the teachers never have a problem talking to me for at least 15 minutes when I pick them up after work. That kind of communication is essential for me. They have very low turn-around for their teachers, and that further shows what a great establishment this is. My children get so excited to see their teachers and friends in the morning, I can't imagine going anywhere else!

My daughter has been attending this daycare for almost 3 months and she loves it. The director was also very quick in replying my messages and in scheduling a tour before we registered our baby. She used to go to a different daycare close to home and we hated it. Now we drive a little bit further, but it is ok. I can tell how well teachers take care of her every time when I drop her off and she is happy to see her teacher. They are very clean, polite, and clear in communicating messages. Also, another good thing about this daycare is that they have 2 infants rooms, so in this way the 1-6 months baby don't get injure by the babies already crawling, walking or playing with harder toys. It is a peace of mind knowing that my daughter, who is 9 months old, is loved, taken care of and taught everyday by very nice people like in Brooksedge day care center. I would definitely recommend this place!!!

We were charged a registration fee $100, full field trip fee $375. During the second or third week the place got infested with lice... When I asked for a two week off to keep from the spread I was told I still had to pay. Also, when I chose to pull her out of daycare due to the infestation going on I was denied a field trip reimbursement. I will not be recommending this daycare in the future.

I just enrolled my 4 year old in early September. I feel like she brings home real work and they're teaching real skills. Very school like in many ways. I appreciate the prep they are giving her for kindergarten.
