Brazilian Grill and Bakery is an outstanding Brazilian steakhouse. The cuts of meat are perfectly prepared, and the service is exceptional. The salad bar is impressive, with fresh, high-quality options that are consistently replenished. The staff is friendly, attentive, and highly focused on customer service, making every visit a great experience. This has become a favorite spot for lunch, thanks to its spacious seating, clean environment, and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant also features a bar, and while desserts and breads are extra, the all-you-can-eat option offers incredible value. Seeing many Brazilian patrons dining here is a testament to the authenticity and quality of the food. Highly recommended for an authentic Brazilian dining experience!

I got an order through Too Good to Go (which you should check out if you don't know about it) and I received an enormous amount of everything - a piece of lasagna, chicken legs, rice with vegetables, fried plantains, hush puppies, and a cheese pastry. I wanted to believe I could conquer this mountain myself, but then I remembered sharing with my neighbors is probably best. As we ate, I kept slapping my legs, shaking my fists, and cussing because the beautiful, smoky, umami, poblano, and symphonic flavors of the Everything provided me with an experience euphoric in the religious sense. I want to hug the people who made this. And, speaking of the people, they were clearly swamped right before closing time and they were still eager to help and coordinate, engaged, friendly and wonderful while I tried to stand out of the way by the pastry cabinet. I'm going to gather my meat-eating friends to come back. Thank you so much!!

I've been here a few times now, both to shop and eat and have had a great experience every time. It's a fun atmosphere where you can shop for groceries, enjoy a meal, or grab a drink. It's always lively every time I'm there regardless of the day or time. They serve delicious authentic Brazilian food and sell a wide range of Brazilian products in their market. They offer a buffet in the restaurant which is definitely the most bang for your buck. The buffet has so many delicious options ranging from meats like steak and sausage, sides like rice, beans, potato salad, bread, bakery items and sweet treats, etc. It has everything you could want! We've always had great friendly service. My boyfriend is from Brazil and this is definitely his favorite place to go!

As we were waiting for the restaurant we had planned to eat at to open, we were looking for interesting stores or bakeries to visit and kill some time. Brazilian Grill & Bakery popped up on my Yelp feed and as soon as I saw this place sold Brazilian pasteis, I knew we had to go. We arrived a bit before 11 and found not only an entire restaurant and bakery, but also a Brazilian grocery store in half the building. We're not too familiar with the groceries and food of this region, so it was certainly an adventure! We spent some time going through all the goods stocked in a couple of small rows and found a number of items to buy - yucca cheese snacks, and cashew fruit juice. It's too bad we couldn't buy any frozen goods due to our road travel or else we would have spent more! One thing we found particularly funny is that they sell the drinks right next to bottles of cleaning fluids. At first we thought those were also drinks...Afterwards, we went to the restaurant side. On weekends, they have a buffet for $25.99, but on weekdays the food is sold by weight: $9.99 for items in the main buffet line and $15.99 for the cut-to-order meats. We were still planning to go to the other restaurant - that was until the grill master took a lamb skewer off the grill and offered us a sample. We were hooked instantly and decided to forgo our previous plans. The lamb had an exquisite exterior, perfectly seasoned, with a bit of a fatty layer that crackled in the mouth. The meat was tender and barely gamey with only a hint of the lamb flavor. It was literally dripping with juices, which burst out as I chewed. This was some of the best lamb I have ever had. Once again, we don't have too much experience with authentic Brazilian food, but all the food looked appetizing and we wanted to try everything. It helped that all of the store staff were friendly and inviting. We had a bunch of questions and they took the time to answer every single one of them. Eventually, we decided to get two plates of the buffet items and another plate of meat. We skipped the small salad bar, instead opting for the numerous items in the main entree area:Arroz Carreteiro - Basically a pilaf, moist and mixed with green onions, diced carrots, pieces of cubed and cured pork belly, and small sections of beef. Feijao Carioca - Tender pinto beans in a nice savory broth.File de Porco - Pork chops with a kind of dry interior, but fantastic exterior flavor.Estrogonofe de Carne - Tender beef chunks in a delicious mustard based sauce.Carne de Panela - Pretty much tastes like a classic pot roast with beef and roasted, crispy, and fluffy potato.Tropeiro Com Torresmo - I'm not sure what this is. Smashed fried chicharrones and bread crumbs mixed with plantains, beans, onions and herbs? Tasted pretty good!Empedao de Frango - Very interesting chicken pot pie. On top is a crispy cheese crust. Then a floury dough layer that tastes of chicken broth, kind of similar in texture to a thick and dense mashed potato. Inside is shredded chicken with a thick cream cheese sauce and olives. The inside is not creamy or soupy like an American pot pie but well defined and cohesive.Banana Frita - Sweet yellow plantains with a caramelized exterior and soft tender interior. For the meat, there was a selection of picanha, flank steak, chicken, beef ribs, chicken hearts, and lamb. We went with a couple slices of the first two. Both were absolutely delicious, with a salty exterior and a beefy interior cooked to a perfect medium. There were fatty portions that were well rendered and very tender, easy to cut even with with a butter knife. Overall the buffet was a 5/5.Once you fill your plates, the server will give you a number card, which you bring to the store cashier to check out after eating. We ended up also getting a number of pasteis to-go to try later in the day:Coxinha Com Catupiry ($4) - Filled with shredded chicken, herbs, and cream cheese sauce, the same as in the pot pie. There's a very light crisp exterior studded with bread crumbs that separates easily from the dough layer. (5/5)Coxinha ($3.75) - Same as the above but missing the cheese. I liked the cheese one more - this one just has a bunch of meat that makes it a bit dry. (4/5)Assado de Frango C/Batata ($5) - Quite a dense pie crust, reminds me of soft pretzel dough, surrounding the same pulled chicken as the coxingha but mixed with potato and herbs. The herbs used are a bit different from the coxinha. Lots of crust, maybe a bit too much. (3/5)Pao de Queijo Com Goiabada ($1) - Chewy and cheesy bread with a sweet and sourish guava paste inside. And only a dollar. I should have bought way more of these and some of the normal Pao de Queijo as well. (5/5)Bathrooms - Two individual rooms, one for men, one for women.Brazilian Grill & Bakery is way better than any of those chain Brazilian Barbecue places and probably way more authentic. I would revisit in a heartbeat next time I'm in Columbus.

OMG, THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE IN COLUMBUS...!!!Awesome. Simply awesome. I'm amazed there's only 1 review from a Yelp Elite for Brazilian Grill & Bakery. That's a shame, and a missed opportunity. Come on, Columbus, you need to go here...!I'm serious - this is my new favorite restaurant in Columbus.I guess I'm not surprised - they're located in Columbus Square, a long-aging shopping center in Northeast Columbus at the intersection of 161 and Cleveland Avenue. The restaurant looks absolutely dumpy on the outside (see pix), then shockingly updated, light, beautiful, lively, super clean and really nice on the inside (see pix).THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS, and the price is a bargain. Think Rodizio Grill or Texas de Brazil for half the price. They have a 2 buffet tables (serve yourself) - one of cold items, another of hot items, and expertly grilled and seasoned meats carved for your enjoyment. On the weekend it's $25.99/adult for all you can eat. That's a bargain for the quality and flavors. I hear weekdays everything is priced by the pound (I believe they said $9.99/lb for hot + cold buffet items, $15.99/lb for carved meats - still a bargain). I did not ask the price for kids, but based on all of the families there I have to believe the price is less for kids.I was there on a Saturday afternoon and they had 5 different grilled meats - sirloin steak, beef ribs, chicken legs, chicken hearts (try one, they're tasty), and yummy sausages. All were expertly seasoned, nicely cooked, and delicious. The chimichurri sauce was absolutely world-class. And the red sauce next to it that was "light my fire" hot, but full of flavor and delicious. The cold buffet items were nice, especially the potato salad. The hot buffet items were nice, especially the rice covered with black bean stew. But the meat is why you come here. Why you'll crave here. Why my mouth is watering just writing this. Why I'm heading back soon. They also have a very nice full bar. I had a Caipirinha - it was perfect, expertly made, and delicious. The Caipirinha is Brazil's national cocktail - made with cachaça (a Brazilian sugar-cane rum), granulated sugar, lime, and a little mint. This was one of the best Caipirinha's I've ever had, and I've had quite a few.I asked if they could make me a Mojito, the answer was "yes". Next time...The other patrons were (no surprise) mostly Brazilian families. It's a very authentic restaurant - several servers spoke no English, and I speak no Portuguese. The guy carving the meat spoke no English or Spanish, but hey - we made it work just fine. That said, other servers speak perfect English and were very happy to translate when needed.I absolutely, positively felt very welcome, and the manager stopped by several times to check on me.Brazilian Grill & Bakery is a hidden Columbus gem. If you love grilled, wonderfully seasoned meat, it's a bargain.Great place. Delicious food. Nice and friendly people. Lovely dining room. I'm getting hungry again just writing this review. Go - just go. You'll thank me... I promise...!

I'm obsessed with this place! Their "salad bar" is around $9.99/ lbs and it's a beautiful spread. The meat is $14.99/lb & fresh off the grill. That's just the tip of the iceberg. They also make plenty of food made to order. Dying to try their pizzas. Their caipirinhas (Brazilian cocktail) are to die for & $5 on happy hour. They also have a nice selection of beers, including Quilmes which is from my country (Argentina) & I haven't seen anywhere else out here. This place is soooo authentic it seems like only a few speak some English. As a native Spanish speaker it is still difficult for me to communicate when there, but the staff is so friendly that we always make it work.Do yourself a favor & get the giant strawberries covered in the chocolate truffle known as brigadeiros .They have to have one of the best Instagram feeds I've seen for a Columbus business. Every day they post pictures of what they have, including their daily salad bar offerings.

I'd been here when it was Estilo Brazil, partly because I used to have Brazilian cars (yes, they're a thing.) I'm not sure if it has changed owners but it has definitely been completely revamped. Market side is a bit smaller, restaurant side is bigger and nicer. Not fancy, quite, but very nice, comfy, and with a big buffet along the side. By the pound during the week, all you can eat on weekends. I'd been waiting to come, hoping to do the AYCE on a weekend with friends, but today it was handy. Short line at 11am. Tons of interesting choices, so I loaded up a plate. Steak, sausage, macaroni salad, fried plantains, pot pie, rice, and more. Brazilian food is different, but not strange, if that makes sense. Homey, tasty, not generally spicy, and even if you are not adventurous you will recognize most ingredients. But they're put together into some fantastic items. I just skimmed the surface today and got 6 or 8 things, all were good, and if I'd had the time and appetite there were 20 more things I wanted to try.Service was friendly and helpful. They assumed I was Brazilian (I'm not) so there was some language confusion at first. Price was very reasonable; I think $16 for a full plate, tax, drink, and tip. Would come right back, and will try to get here on the weekend for AYCE. Bet it gets crazy then though.Shopped a bit on the other side, didn't get anything because I wasn't headed straight home. But a decent small market with dry goods, snacks, frozen stuff, etc.

Great food and friendliest staff. You can tell it is very popular among the locals but do expect most of the menu in Spanish. We went on a Friday night and ordered an assortment of protein available there. My personal favorite is the chicken but the beef short rib and brisket are also very good. The cheese bread is also fun to try.

Going here is like Christmas morning on a Thursdee night. The only thing is I did not see one single Brazilian while I was there. That's the only thing that kept me from giving 5 full stars. Sheridan was a DELIGHT and gave me the best 5 minutes of fame I could have ever asked for. God bless
