Great local bar! They always have good food, cheap drinks, and friendly staff! Many local bands play here. Safe for families and fun for groups of friends.

Best food in town! The staff is very friendly, and welcoming. And I've never had a bad experience here. So I'll continue to come back to Bowstring!!

My husband and i have come back 2 times since the last review....primarily for the karaoke contest. I am happy to report that service was great both times since and it was not nearly as busy. I think they are still trying to figure out how many waitresses to have because we have been there when it is super busy and have been there when it is dead. The food was alright, but the service has drastically improved! We actually had the same waitress tonight that i had mentioned in my previous review.....she redeemed herself and I'm going to chalk up her nasty attitude last time as a busy, stressful rough night.

As a first time visitor I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Friday night special, filet mignon, which turned out to be the best steak I've had in a while. The service was excellent even though the place was packed. I'm still amazed that a bar/grill of this caliber is located in such an out of the way spot. Definitely on our list of Friday night favorites.

Service was superb and dinner was even better. Though the restaurant was busy we got seated right away. The girl seating us smiled and greeted us... which is hard to come by anymore. Our waiter was very attentive and shook our hand before we left. My filet was cooked perfectly and super tender. Looking forward to our next visit!

This place is a nightmare. Tried to sit and enjoy dinner and they had music blasting so loud it was impossible to try to enjoy. I could hear it out in the street even after I got up and left. There was no music playing when I arrived. I left what I ordered untouched right there an!d walked out without paying. Dinner at 6PM should not come with an ear splitting level of music.What a lousy experience!

Lousy service... Lousy food! It took over one hour from the time ordering the food to the time the food was delivered to table. Where was Jan our waitress...only GOD knows!Fifteen minutes after we were seated the lights went out and never turned back on. To all who read this remark... run from this place...it's not worth the cheap beer that it serves!

Ordered food to go. Got the wing special and was never told it didn't apply for to go... it wasn't even on the special board as dine in only..
