Boscoe's

I can't believe I'm just now visiting this establishment! Why have I waiting so long? It felt safe and at home, where I could enjoy the drag hosts, male dancers, and new friends. Bar staff are super friendly. There's no kitchen for a menu but they do carry small bags of chips to curb your munchies. The DJ spins great tunes to move to. It's not a huge space but enough room for comfort and ease of movement whether dancing, heading to the bar, or making your way to the restroom. The restrooms have limited space and I found myself going to the female identified restrooms which no one minded. Both were fairly clean and accessible. There is outside seating which I look forward to in the summer. Seating consists of high top tables. Street parking is pretty easily accessible. Drinks are reasonably priced and bartenders are knowledgeable. A great, fun place to be...me.

We were in the German/Merion Village area and was suggested to stop here to watch the game. Nice area. Friendly and prompt Staff and Bar Service. Clean restroom.

seems very social hierachy in place between groups not a real social place to meet new ppl but great to go out with friends the show was amazing and the cast r great loved it but still was upset to see the divide in our community when it should b a place to bring everyone up in the community

I have been coming here for years and it is just what you expect: seasoned bartenders who have been around for quite some time. It would be nice to see new faces and perhaps some younger blood. Aside from that, the drinks are okay. If they know you, as they do I, your drinks will be strong but if not, expect not. That way you order more I suppose. There are shows that happen here but they are easily the worst gay shows in the city. There is a host that has been there a very long time and chooses some of the worst outfits and clothing I've ever seen. The stage is awful and whoever decorated could really use a course with gay men with style, like my group. This is a safe place to come and be free and express yourself and meet some very cool and friendly people but do not expect much from the actual establishment. If there is nothing to do, I will always be back.

I'm a huge fan of the South Side gay bars, most of which are dark and divey (and awesome, btw). Boscoe's is the new kid in the neighborhood, but it is most definitely not a dive. The former Bar 7, Boscoe's is clean, shiny, and new. From the outside it doesn't look very big, but the owners have done a fantastic job maximizing the space. There's a stage for drag shows and strippers, plenty of high-tops for catching up with friends, and even room for dancing -- in case your night goes that way. And if you need to get away from the music for a second, there's a great little patio right out front where you can chat with your friends or make some new ones. I was most impressed with the people here -- both the patrons and the staff. Everyone was so darn nice and not pretentious. No matter who you are or how you're dressed, you're welcome at Boscoe's. I hope the owners work hard to maintain this vibe, no matter how popular the bar becomes. And the drinks? Strong, delicious, and cheap AF.

My best friend and I went here this past Friday night (11/8/19), and were quite happy with our choice. The staff were all very nice, and the entertainment definitely did not disappoint. We will be going back, I'm sure.

Love this place! We travel from Maryland to visit a friend a couple times a year and always end up here. I don't understand the bad review where someone can't get drinks. We walk in and had a drink within 2 minutes today just before the show started! People shouldn't ever leave anything less than a 5 star.

Haven't been here in a while but when did they stop putting alcohol in their drinks. This was a favorite. I guess times change.

Watch out for the bartenders. They charged my friend for 4 shots of Jameson that he never ordered ($27 for that nasty stuff). Then they refused to refund the charge. The shows are good but the staff is shady. Keep an eye on your tab. Maybe they're hoping you're too drunk to notice the extra charges. As the sober designated driver, I know bloody well he didn't have those shots.

if I could give this place a negative I would. clearly they only like locals. I was a paying customer with over $100, bought drinks, tipped, gave money to the dancers and I was kicked out before close all bc I'm a girl from NY and wore my Steelers jersey in an ohio bar. Imma leave u guys a shit review every day because your bar, for being an LBGT bar is fucking lane as fuck. Y'all treated me like dirt and I spent money there all night. Sorry y'all aren't on the same vibe and u grew up in shitty ohio but guess what? I'm writing this review from my car because u asked me to leave but your bar is still open as I write this. I asked u guys if I could borrow a phone charger because my phone was dying and I didn't know how to get home since I just moved here a week ago and u said u had no charger as I watched you plug your iPhone into a charger. I'm sorry I spent even a cent here at this piece of shit bar
