This spot has been many things: another Mexican restaurant before this, a hotdog place before that, others that I'm forgetting before those. They have revamped the interior. Nice old building on Parsons, with skulls and things on the wall now but not overdone. A nice bar. A big and interesting menu. And some interesting specials. I got a couple of the crazy tacos, which were two dollars off I think on Tuesdays. They are their bigger, more expensive tacos. I got the steak taki-taco and the Homie, pork with loads of flavorful additions. Both stuffed full of meat and piled with toppings. Two are plenty for a meal, or maybe three if you're hungry. I also got Mexican corn on the cob. Pretty good. They also have it off, in a bowl, and many other sides and apps and mains. Service was excellent. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the specials. They have a decent cocktail and beer menu. And, tequila and Mezcal. Small parking lot right alongside, which is nice. If I get over this way again, I will definitely come back, because there are lots of things on the menu I want to try.
