Boathouse BBQ

In terms of views, you won't find a better one at any other restaurant in Marietta. When the weather is fine, the patio at Boathouse BBQ is the place to be.Having been here a few times now, I can vouch for the service and the food. The servers have been outstanding and on this particular occasion my table had to order a second round of chicken wings because the three of us devoured them too quickly. There is a multitude of food selections and all the items I've tried have been fabulous!

Barbecue on the water. Beautiful spring evening to enjoy dinner on the water. I ordered the brisket with fries. the brisket is thin cut. And had a nice char on the outside. The pieces were a large. It was a little bit on the dryer side.The waitress was very nice and took good care of the table. Next time I will try pulled pork, I think.

Always enjoy the food at this location, outdoor seating makes for a great relaxing environment. The pulled pork was great but if you get the sandwich you might as well toss the bottom part of the bun because the meat is dripping with juice and it is ruined by the time it hits the table. Would be nice if they drained it some before serving. It wasn't extremely busy yesterday when we were there but service was slow. We ordered onion ring appetizers but never ended up getting them. The waitress said she forgot to enter them and asked if we still wanted them when we got our meal, we said yes and she apologized and said we wouldn't be charged. After finishing our meal and getting a box she said the kitchen still had not dropped them so she decided to cancel them. Not real sure how to feel about the mix up at this point. Onion rings are not a deal breaker as the food is always amazing.

We ate here for a late lunch on a Saturday and enjoyed ourselves. The view of the river from the patio is amazing, and it was the perfect way to pass a couple hours with friends. The BBQ is excellent, especially the half BBQ chicken or the pulled pork. We found the portions to be huge, and all of us had two meals out of each entree. We also ordered the BBQ nachos and the fried pickels, both were also good. This is definitely a "local dive" type place and not meant for fine dining. That's okay because the food is awesome and it's a great "come as you are" stop for groups or families with kids. There is a small play area out back and a full stocked bar for the adults. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back again.

We were traveling south on I-77 after a son's wedding and found this excellent place. We have a dog and needed a pet friendly place. We ordered the 3 meat platter (ribs, brisket, and brisket - we love brisket) and an order of wings. The food was just amazing! Especially the ribs! ... and remember, we love brisket. The wings were also very good! Their french fries were also off the charts scrumptious ! we wanted to order another side of fries because they were so good, but we were stuffed.It was right along the river, so the view was really nice as well.To top it off the service was incredible as well. We have found a new "must" visit restaurant as we travel through or around Marietta, Ohio... and all because they were the only establishment within a 30 mile radius of our online search that accommodated small dogs! It was our lucky day!!!

We've been here several times. Always delicious and the service is great. We enjoy eating on the patio with our dog and enjoy the views of the river

So good. Service is usually pretty good as well. Every once in a while I might get a dude who is more intersted in turnover than creating a great experience for dining but MOST of the time there are no complaints. Food is always great as well and good portion sizes.

The Ribs Were So Delicious, I Didn't Want To Stop Eating Them. I Got Onion Rings Also. I Thought I Died And Went To Heaven!!! Great Food, Great Service And A Great Time!!!Try The Boathouse.....You Won't Be Disappointed.

Cute place right on the river-can't beat the view. It was a busy and beautiful Sunday afternoon! Had to ask the hostesses if anyone was coming to our table after about 10-15 minutes of waiting and watching all the other tables (who sat after us) be served. They sat after and left before us-good thing we went in a huge hurry! Little bit of attitude received from the hostess station-and they claimed "they understood" but offered no real help or conclusion until I asked if they really understood and then one of them said let me come back and get your drink orders. Our server happened to witness this exchange and was very apologetic and attentive (and brought us a coupon for a future visit!) Apparently, she'd had to pick up another server's table load and really wasn't getting much help. Food was good but took a while to come out. Comes in baskets with paper liners and very casual but definitely enjoyed! We'll be back to use our coupon and likely more so too!

Very good experience. The Blueberry Bbq sauce is amazing. Nice view overlooking the river. Excellent service
