Bluescreek Farm Meats

I need to preface this review, I do not cook but have an amazing personal chef who makes the best steaks that rival the any steakhouses. I'm not a steak eater but husband and son's number one request from her. Every once in an awhile I will sneak a bite, it is literally the most tender steak I've ever had. I finally asked where she gets the steaks, Bluescreek! I decided I must checkout this magical place. They have a great selection of grass-fed meats, seasonings and sauces. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, they even have an on ground kitchen you could order from. Must mention they have a huge selection of frozen meats that help in meal planning, highly recommend and definitely worth the driveEDIT - good to know, my personal chef told me about the kitchen, said you made great burgers.

Our family friends live in Ohio and bring these cookies to NY for the past two years to celebrate our annual 4th of July family get together! They are by far the greatest and most delicious gluten free cookies that you will ever eat! Our favorite is the peanut butter s'mores! I also heard that they have the best meat.

Bought a steak and it was absolutely delicious!! It was not cheap but I feel better knowing the cow was treated humanely and did not suffer. Definitely will be going back!

An unexpected yet amazing gem in Plain City! It was a Saturday morning and my sister + brother-in-law said we were going grocery shopping prior to heading out for lunch. We initially decided on Costco, however, set our destination for Bluescreek shortly after turning out to the main road. I recall seeing the outstanding average review score of this establishment on Yelp when looking at places in the area but didn't delve into the specifics. Wow, I feel fortunate for the opportunity to have experienced it prior to leaving town... Located in a relatively unassuming single story gray building in Plain City among rural surroundings, it might be easy to miss if you're not using a GPS app. If you're not located nearby, it's definitely worth the trip. Not only is a meat wonderland--with outstanding quality and a wide-selection served by knowledgeable butchers--there's a huge inventory of local and in-house crafted goods. Like everything you can imagine for: baked goods (tons of well labeled and delicious gluten-free options), dairy products, pastas and pasta sauces, coffees, condiments (especially unique ketchups crafted from bourbon and bacon as well as a plethora of mustards), hot sauces, and even soaps. Friendly service and very fair prices. Everything we purchased was amazing, from the steaks through the mustards. Such a wonderful place to shop. Hats off to the prosperities and employees, I cannot wait to return to try more of the goods they carry!

Absolutely FANTASTIC meats. I stopped by after passing them for months. The butcher case is the best I've encountered in central Ohio not only was it well stocked with the classic cuts they had several I'd not encountered. The lady helping me was patient and explained the cuts I didn't recognize. As well as cooking suggestions. I left with a NY strip steak, cowboy steak and skirt steak. The trim on the skirt streak was the best I've encountered since I cooked them as a grill cook in my first steak house job. The Cowboy Steak? Oh my LORD, yes please! What a treat it was. I've been looking for a place I can stock my freezer for on the fly meals and I've found it. The freezer cases were well presented with a deep array of cuts and sausages. The market is well stocked with all kinds of local products. From spice rubs to bread mixes, and sauces you'll find them here. Oh, and cookies! A fresh cookie is always a good answer!

Very good place for meat products. Today was my first time there. I called a couple days before to make an order for 3 Porterhouse steaks and the staff were very knowledgeable. I asked for 1.5 to 2 inch steaks and they let me know the average weight for a steak. I did pay a premium price, but compared to the not-so-great beef options at local Marysville chain stores, these take first prize.Upon pick up today, I wasn't expecting the size of them to be bigger than dinner plates! My original plan was a steak for each myself and my two teens, however we decided to split one three ways (see pics). I decided to dry age even further, and wait patiently over the next few days. I will make sure to take regular trips to Plain City now.

Best place to get meat from at a reasonable price. The staff is awesome. They have Best lamb bacon I have ever tasted in my life.

Dry aged steak and roasts. Incredible quality meats and cuts. This is probably the best place to buy meet in central Ohio. Beef, pork, bison, lamb, chicken and turkey. They even have Tri tip. It's a family run business that will go out of its way for their customers. Give them a call if you have a special cut or request. My kids love their pot pies and don't forget to grab a cheesecake from the freezer.
