Black Swan Bar & Grill

I went to Black Swans to see my uncles band play. I ordered their chicken quesadillas and switched out the sour cream for an extra salsa. This is one of the best quesadillas I've had! They loaded it up with all the ingredients and I didn't have a single slice that barely had anything in it. Would definitely recommend! Also the live music made a cool ambiance and the staff was very friendly!

My uncle in law was playing a gig the night we went and I never heard of this place so I was pumped to check it out. We got in, watched them set up their equipment and ordered a quesadilla and a burger with fries. I was not expecting it to be as good as it was. I was completely blown away by how tasty it was. The burger was actually really good and the quesadilla was very delicious. Fun time to have with food and a show.

Great Happy Hour specials. I had the Fried Bologna Sandwich which comes with fries. The bologna is thick and cooked perfectly. Topped with shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes. The fries look like hand cut. And they're topped with Parmesan. Good draft beer selection - about 8 to choose from, including hard cider. We were there on a Thursday and they had Open Mic night. The lineup appeared to be blues-focused. We heard some opening warm ups and the house band sounded good!

We're here once a month for goth night (The Witching Hour) and always have a great time. The dance floor is a great size for our crowd, there is a nice patio out front, the bar is huge and there is plenty of comfortable seating. I've never eaten here, but the drink prices are pretty comparable to anywhere else, and they have a nice selection. My only minor gripes are the DJ setup should be upstairs away from the large speakers (I couldn't hear my set last time), and they could stand to have an extra bartender. Oh, and they should start stocking PBR. Otherwise, it's a nice gem of a place.

Great staff and bartender. Kind of a hidden gem. Much larger inside than we expected. I thought the burger was quite good. The menus had a decent and thankfully cold draft selection. Some nights are karaoke, which we didn't mind, but some people freak out. Prices were comparable to the bars in the area. It was a nice change from the other joints in the vicinity that haven't changed in decades.

So I like the place...cool vibe! Amazing food!! Hard part is that you never know what you're walking into...could be Open Mike Night (!!) could be Goth Night (people coming later than our dinner) or could be that the whole place is reserved for a band's besties I do like the place and will go now and again with only a few of us so we can sit at the bar and still carry on a conversation. Back to the food....yum!!! So go enjoy (open at 4pm) but have an open mind!

Absolutely the best place to karaoke in the city!! Mr. Fun runs amazingly efficient karaoke nights and is in the sound booth doing everything possible to make the singers sound fantastic and the transitions between songs smooth and predictable (like announcing who the next few singers will be). Mrs. Fun is in constant motion ensuring that the space remains spotless and that everyone is having a good time. They are absolutely the best hosts - so warm and welcoming!! The crowd is diverse and, like their hosts, incredibly kind and supportive. You will feel like family here! The bartenders are attentive and quick to serve, the food is great, and the prices are excellent for the quality of the food and drink. It is one of the cleanest establishments in the city! They also host live bands, line dancing and open mic nights!
