This used to be my favorite restaurant. It was so disappointing that their standards have gone down. I ordered masala morchi bajji, fish fry, chicken biryani, and white forest pastry. The mirchi bajji were raw as the batter was completely uncooked. The fish fry was good but did not have salt. Biryani was so bad,it did not have any flavor it felt like i was eating boiled chicken with very mildly flavored rice. The pastry was dry.I never thought I would rate this restaurant so low.

If you are looking for cake corner, it is the same as biryani corner. As soon as you walk in, you will see the cakes. They have readymade cakes and puff pastry available. We took the gulab jamun cake. It was delicious. They make cakes by order, too. They also have a ras malai flavored, pista flavored cake, too. It's a must try for cakes and pastries!

I love biryani, and with all the positive reviews I see for Biryani Corner, I thought that I'd love their food. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but my experience was pretty terrible.First of all, I ordered their goat biryani... but they were apparently out of goat in general and substituted chicken biryani without asking me first. The chicken biryani was 2 skinny chicken drumsticks with a pile of poorly mixed rice on top. It was way less meat than I've gotten from other Indian restaurants in the area at a similar price point. Literally a 1/3 of the rice was still white, which is why I say it was poorly mixed. The rest of the seasoned rice was overly salty. I also ordered their samosas which came with mint chutney. The chutney was once again waaaaay too salty. As in, saltier than eating tomato ketchup straight of the bottle. We also ordered their chicken tikka masala which was also too salty. With all the other good Indian restaurants in the area, I unfortunately don't see a reason to come back.

This is a little gem. Let me tell you what you can expectA. Authentic tastes of IndiaB. Reasonable pricingC. Quantity that's fairD. Spice fest If you don't believe what I say, try it out yourself. I dare you to compare it with others around the area that boast of biryanis! Biryani Corner beats them hands down!More about their menu another time, choose wisely! Medium here is for most. Protip: if you order just a curry, you get automatically rice on the side. Before you head out to pick your order, cut thin slices of a red onion, squeeze lemon on it and leave it in the fridge. When you return, add the onion on top the rice, after you have added that glorious curry on top. You can come back and thank me later! Enjoy it!

We had wanted to try Biryani Corner for a while since it is close to our home, so we gave it a go one evening when neither of us wanted to cook. I looked at the reviews on Yelp and found a lot of mixed opinions; I also saw from the pics that the space was relatively small. So we opted for carry-out and made an online order. The selection of food was quite extensive, and both my wife and I had a hard time deciding what to try. In the end, we ordered samosas, chicken tikka masala, Vijayawada chicken biryani, garlic naan, rice, and raitha. We asked for the chicken dishes to be made medium, thinking that we both like a little heat and that they likely think of "medium" in the American sense of the word since they're in Columbus. They obviously were thinking of "medium" in more of an Indian sense of heat, because the food was quite hot. Not overwhelmingly so, but enough to drain the sinuses for a good long while. After we got over the initial shock of the heat, we enjoyed the food very much. It was really quite delicious, and they gave us very generous portions. My only complaint about the food is that the chicken tikka masala had a layer of grease floating on top of the sauce that seemed a little off-putting to me. Other than that, I cannot complain about the food at all.One other complaint that I have is that we ordered online and were given a pickup time that was not honored. When we arrived, my wife went in and was given a bag of food and told to pay. We have paid online. They realized that she was not the customer who had made that particular order, and she was told that they had not started making our order yet. Since there are no tables or chairs available inside (they were all piled to one side with the main dining area left as a large open area), we had to wait outside. They asked my wife to return in 10 minutes. After around 10 minutes, she went back in only to be told that it was still being prepared and to return a little later. So we waited around outside some more. A third time she went in, only to be told the same yet again. A couple of other customers came and went with their carry-out food, so I wondered what was going on. When she went in the fourth time, they were bagging the food. I have read other customers' reviews where they complained of not receiving the correct order. If the people at Biryani Corner simply hand a bag of food to people when they walk in the door, without asking who they are, it's no wonder people receive the wrong orders. So, check your order before you leave the restaurant. I would love to give this place five stars, but the customer service is severely lacking. Will I go back? Yes. The food was great!

This place is a tiny hole in the wall, hidden away behind the "Forge" tavern so you can't even see it from the street. They don't even try to have any ambiance (decor is 3 televisions: two on sports, one Indian pop music) but the food is excellent. Mostly take-out, but they do have 5 (small) tables if you want to eat in (but note, no bathrooms! Try the bar next door.) Order at the window. The food, though, makes up for everything. A quite amazing creamy chicken tikka masala. Try the gobi Manchurian (cauliflower) appetizer.Rating would be 5 for food, 2 for ambiance.

I've ordered from this place three times through Uber Eats. Two of those orders were cancelled within ten minutes the stated reason being "can't get to your order". I must mention that I placed my orders within a half hour of them opening. I tried to order again this evening through Uber Eats and they weren't accepting orders (with two hours left till they close). The single time I was actually able to get food ordered and delivered I thought it was great! (Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan). Not going to bother with these guys again however. With the host of Indian options available in Columbus I'll just order from restaurants that have their act together and are serious about actually making and delivering food.
