Bill's Real Pit BBQ

Decided to take a trip out to Bill's Real Pit BBQ in Nashport. I ordered the Tex Sampler. It includes Broasted Chicken, Ribs, Pork and Beef. The chicken was nice and moist. Ribs were a little tough to me. The Pork and Beef both were super moist and flavorful. If I was ordering again they would be the 2 that I would get. The sides were phenomenal. The Macaroni Salad had the flavor of deviled eggs. Quite a surprise and definitely tasty. Also got baked beans which were made with chili beans, Lima beans and regular beans. Pretty tasty. Last but not least there were homemade onion rings. Delicious for sure .

Very tasty with large portions! We were here at 1:00 and the place was still full. Very friendly staff, fast service too. I had the pork sandwich and it was too big for me. Hubby had to finish it. It had a delicious smoky bbq taste. The smokers are out back of the place with piles of wood around. Truly is authentic BBQ. I took off a star for something I've never come across before - no prices on the menu. We don't like to spend a lot on lunch and prices would have helped. I'd hate to come here with my grandkids. They would way over order not knowing the prices. I did have enough time to look on here for an old menu that had prices and figured it would be a couple dollars more and I was right. The sandwiches were $2 more. However a huge glass of Coke was only $1.99! The appearance can be deceiving but don't let that stop you. Not much waiting room inside. The parking lot is pieced together with many patches. The booths and tables are well worn from years of use but it was clean. We will be back someday.

So my Rating would be a 3.5 if that was possible.The BBQ isn't anything special. I have it the rating I did because1. Out of the 200+ places I have been all over the country this place is hands down best bang for your buck.- I did the Tex Sampler (all meats) And 2 sides. Everything tasted decent to good, huge servings, meats prepared good.2. Super friendly staffIf you're driving through and want to support a good local/small business and get a good affordable and hearty meal STOP HERE!!!

Comfort food at its best! I truly appreciate how fast my To-Go order is ready. The staff is always friendly and the kitchen staff does everything it can to meet your needs. You can't go wrong with a sopapilla, ribs or pulled pork. Be sure to leave room for homemade dessert!!

BBQ is their specialty, but they have an excellent variety of menu items. I have attached their latest menu and note the specials on Tuesdays, wednesdays, Thursdays, & sundays. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating, prices are fair, & the food is excellent.

Nice mom and pop shop! Food was amazing and quick! Chicken was nice and moist and that potato salad was the best I've had in a while!

AMAZING!!! Seriously so yummy. Everything had great flavor. Moist meat. Might pass on the French fries only because there are so many other amazing choices.

Love this place!! Bbq and bbq beef very good along with the potatoes salad and macaroni salad and green beans and also the Cole slaw!! Desserts are very good to but my favorite is fat kids chocolate!!

Best BBQ restaurant you'll find in Muskingum County with the hometown feel and prices you desire. Bills has been a staple in the area for many years. When you visit, you'll be treated like family and won't break the bank having a good, home cooked dinner. Must tried would include the brisket, cucumbers/onions and broasted chicken. Call in your order to go or sit down and relax in the cozy dining room. Located minutes from maple Avenue, Bills BBQ offers menu items you can find anywhere but flavor you'll only find there.

I had a great meal today, and actually the food is always good ...however I feel the ladies should fix there hair in the Bathroom not in the prep area . Long black hair is very noticeable. Thank you
