Big Apple Breakfast

They share the same store front with Pizza Primo and is the morning occupant of the place. As soon as I step in, the NYC subway wallpaper on the right just capture my eye, along with their menu right on the side. I got the Bodega Sandwich, which comprise of an over easy egg, American cheese with your choice of meat serve on a Kaiser roll. I picked ham and add on pork roll and hash brown. Slightly crisp up Kaiser roll with the savory ham and pork roll, crunch from the hash brown, and creamy runny egg yolk. What an amazing combination and all packed in this sandwich. I was also eyeing the French Toast stick but get stuffed from the sandwich. If you happen to be around the Worthington area, hit them up for a glimpse of the NYC style bodega breakfast.

Simple and delicious. Won a gift card via an instagram giveaway and had to check it out? Think it's a breakfast place by day and pizza place by night - and it is a solid option for takeout. Obviously not a ton of variety sandwich-wise but the two options they do have - The Bodega and The Deli - are both great. The hasbrown atop The Bodega on a delectable kaiser roll is a killer combination and makes it unlike any breakfast sandwich I've ever had before!

The coffee wasn't great, but everything else was delicious. Super crispy hash browns, freshly cooked egg, just the right amount of seasoning.Service was prompt and friendly. The place is inside a pizza shop, so look for the sandwich board. It's nothing special, but there's some indoor and outdoor seating, and the food more than makes up for the place being pretty basic.

Disappointing experience despite looking forward to this. As a NY native I knew it couldn't be as good as an actual bodega but was bummed by how far off this was 1. I follow this company on IG and there are frequent menu additions - good thing, I thought. Get there and ask for a menu , told no menus2. Place order . One sammy was to have no eggs. Guy repeats order back and get home to ... Yep eggs on both3. Zero seasoning on the eggs (and by seasoning I mean salt and pepper) that's how we roll in the actual big apple4. 2nd Sandwich that had eggs (correctly) had two very skimpy bacon slices and one slice of cheese I know eggs are hella pricey these days but the NYC sandwiches are oozing with goodness. This was one ply vs charmin 3 ply.Don't run a play on a trusted reliable product for the sake of marketing. You may encounter real New Yorkers who know what this is supposed to be, get excited about it and call you on it when it doesn't quite tit the bill. Pros-the sausage was tasty.

Finally checked this place out and it is awesome! Limited menu but reasonably priced breakfast sandwiches, for sure got a NYC bodega vibe (love the coffee cups!). I ordered the Bodega (egg, bacon, cheese on a Kaiser roll) - make sure to add SPK (salt pepper ketchup), and the Corner Store (hot chicken strips, powdered sugar, cream cheese, syrup sandwiches between crispy waffles). Both were delicious! The Bodega is a classic and the Corner Store was really interesting! Salty and sweet, what more can you ask for?!Find them in Worthington at the Pizza Primo, they're open week day mornings!

I really wanted to love this breakfast spot! I was excited to see they opened up in Worthington. I picked up a bacon breakfast sandwich and a sausage breakfast sandwich today. My first impression was the bread was way too thick and it made the sandwich so dry because everything else was so thin. It was missing a sauce as well. Both sandwiches lacked excitement and neither "wowed " me. I definitely feel like I can make a better sandwich at home. I finished feeling pretty disappointed. I hope they continue to tweak their sandwiches. Maybe I'll try it again in the future once they work out kinks.

I've gotten carry out several times from here and it's always a 10/10 breakfast. This time I got the Bodega with double egg, no meat + added a hashbrown to the sandwich. It's always hot, fresh, seasoned well, egg cooked perfectly, melty cheese, crispy hash. Happy to have them in the neighborhood.

I dream about this place. It's so good. Everything is simple but perfect. The egg is cooked just right. The cheese is warm and gooey. Perfectly seasoned. The bread is soft and fresh. It's the epitome of simplicity executed well. GO! Stop in. You'll love it.
