Pretty darn authentico...The reviews grumping about the sauce not having a lot of flavor have never been to Italy away from a tourist town.Good service, delicious food.Decent prices. Good stories from the cooks outside afterwards...I like it.

Okay so I didn't know this place existed until about an hour ago. AMAZING! I had the special for today which is the rigatoni with Italian sausage and roasted red peppers. Everything is made in house and one taste of the sauce and you will know it. Only thing that could have made it better for me is a good glass of Cabernet with it. "A man's gotta eat" and you might as well make it something as great as this place has to offer. For the negative comment about them only being open to 8. They stayed open later for me when I came in close to their closing time. I am very great full.

Gem in small town. Great chicken parmigiana and lasagna. Puts olive garden to shame. Very reasonably priced. Friendly service in small restaurant.

Truly exceptional food in Clyde. Some of the best I have had anywhere. A true gem. We had a calzone and my wife the chicken parmigiana. Huge portions and was homemade. I recommend stopping if you are in the area or just make a trip there. It is worth it.

We found a dead fly in our food. The food was bland. The service was terrible.10/10 would never eat here again. I honestly don't know how this place is still open. So gross.

Oh, how I love this place...! Every single item I've ordered has been absolutely fantastic! The sauce is really something special, and I always order extra for my calzone, which is big enough to share, or to finish for lunch the next day. The soups are perfect, and the bread is so good, out of state friends that I've treated to Biajo's have requested that I smuggle it to them across state lines! Biajo is an amazing chef, Ellie is a gem in every facet, and both of them are a delight to converse with. Outstanding cuisine, value, and service. Thank you, Fontana's!

I've always enjoyed Fontana's. the sauce reminds me of my grandmother's southern Italian style (she was Calabrese, I think they are Sicilian). Great pizza and fantastic chicken parm!

After reading the other reviews I decided to give it a try even though it desperately needs a facelift. Everyone raves about the sauce, to me it had no flavor was very bland. The lasagna was pasta, cheese and sauce. The pasta was peppers tasted as if the peppers was frozen, not fresh with a couple pieces of sausage. If you don't like your food to have flavor then this is the place for you.

This is a little hole in the wall if you aren't from Clyde. My husband and I almost missed it. The inside was nice in my opinion. The decor to some could be excessive or gaudy but that's something I can appreciate. The food was really good. My husband and I both had bread and Italian wedding soup. I've never had Italian wedding soup so I had nothing to compare it to. We both loved it. He got a small calzone and couldn't finish it but said it was better than some of the other restaurants around. I got the special fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and bacon. It was a good size plate and the only complaint I have about the dish is that it could use more salt. All in all, it's great food and the prices aren't bad either.
