Clang and bang gym. This gym is amazing. It is no frills, everything functional. I am in town for an interview to be an ER doctor and part of my interview routine everywhere I go is to find a good local gym. This place hit the money! 11 squat racks!? Also a bunch of deadlift platforms. A couple sets of everything else you could want. There were tires, chains, bands, tons of plates, bumper plates, plenty of chalk, clean bathrooms, beautiful brick setting. This is just a rugged, gritty tru clang and bang kind of gym. If you want to get a solid workout in, this is definitely the place. Also, when I came in, the owner, Rich, told me all about the place, gave me a tour and was very accommodating. 100% good vibes at this place.

Rob F.'s review is terribly inaccurate and smells fishy.First off, the owner is Rich and he is there all the time (he talks with everyone and makes sure your getting better, maybe Rob isn't there enough to know this) He adds enough weights and equipment as needed. He constantly brings in new toys to play with (recently its a keg for strongmen competitions). It has gotten busy but its the beginning of the year when newbies arrive for their new years resolutions. As far as cleanliness, He has a crew come in every morning to mop and wipe down equipment. This is a weight lifting centrist gym so chalk does tend to cover the floors by the evenings. If you want to lift you can work in with anyone who is lifting. I joined BLT because if its inclusive culture and atmosphere. This is a community of folks who work hard to make you healthier, stronger, faster or whatever your goals are. Rich and Adam's first words to me when i was looking for a downtown gym were "We don't succeed as a company if you don't get better"Rob-go back to Planet Fitness.

So first i want to say that this was the best gym in Columbus I been to so far. Great atmosphere, good people, kinda small but had all the equipment i needed for the most part. Downside, i'm military so i leave alot. After my year was up I filled out the cancellation form, adv a month in advance and paid my last month dues and turned in my key card. Couple months later i am informed i was sent to collections for missed payments for months after i cancelled when i didn't even have the key card to use the gym, plus not even staying in Columbus at that time. Sad cause I liked the gym and planned on going back. Tried calling but I get no answer. Not good business.

Great gym with a great atmosphere. They have everything you need and then some. They have steel plates and rubber plates for Olympic lifting and deadlifts, and they have all kinds of accessory bars. I really like that it's open 24/7, as that works perfect for me right now with my schedule.

One of the most welcoming and well equipped gyms in Columbus. Convenient 24/7 keycard access with tons of equipment for powerlifting, cardio, CrossFit and more. The owner Rich is an awesome guy and is willing to help any of the members our with pointers and general fitness advice. The office manager Tamika is super friendly and goes out of the way to make members feel welcome. Love this place!!!

The gym is good for lifters. 24 hour card access and staff that cares about fitness. I ran into some problems with moving too far away and Rich called me on his free time to help me out. Nice guy

When I first joined Beyond Limits Training several years ago, this gym was a dream come true. The atmosphere was awesome, all the trainers were helpful and friendly (especially Adam), and it was relatively empty. The gym had several things my old gym did not, and I was excited to have the opportunity to try them out. But as time passed, the sheen slowly started to fade. I noticed just how badly much of the equipment was in need of repair, and the owner never really took requests for replacement/repair very seriously. Over time, the number of people training there got so high that I would have to wait several hours just to get a spot to deadlift or squat! With the increasing number of members, more equipment was necessary to keep people from having to wait too long, but the owner did nothing to remedy the problem. The place became increasingly dirty, and I even saw fellow gym members' car get broken into in the parking lot on several occasions (the gym is in a rough part of town.) I decided enough was enough, and so I tried to cancel my membership. The owner slapped me with a $100 cancellation fee even though I had fulfilled the term length of my membership and notified him well in advance of my cancellation date. In short, if you're looking to get a gym membership at a quality facility, steer wide clear of this one.
