UPDATE: the longer I love here the more I find wrong. First, I forgot in my original review: the day I moved in the carpets were stained and smelled like smoke. They had ONE MONTH to get my apartment ready for me and I had a laundry list of things that needed fixing on day one. All the carpet had to be replaced after we already arranged everything. To get nw idea of how they treat these apartments just take a look at the photos I have added. Do yourself a favor and don't live here I have a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with a den. The apartments are ok. The rent is a good price. And the management is good, not great. My favorite thing about these apartments is that the walks aren't white like every other place, they're a nice beige color. And the kitchens is pretty nice for an apartment. They have some kitchens that are nicer because they have begun renovations, but the un-renovated ones are nice as well. That is the good. This is the bad. The bedrooms are very poorly Insulated. During this winter my bedroom has gotten as low as 59 degrees while the common areas of the living room and dining room stay at about 70. All the bedrooms have outside facing walls so I assume this is a common issue. I even shrink wrapped the windows and it made no difference. And there is poor insulation between floors, I can hear a lot of that happened above me. It's also nice that they allow pets, even large dogs! There is a dog park here as well that is nice. But, a lot of people don't pick up after their dogs. If there was a way for 2.5 stars that's what I'd give it because it's got good to go with the bad.

This place is old, run down and dirty. Management is very sweet and they are overwhelmed with a backlog of repairs. I had to clean the place before I moved in.

This apartment is the most terrible apartment I have ever lived in, the management team AKA the leasing office people are so awfully rude and don't care about the problems in the apartment.

bent tree apartments in Dublin ohio are currently owned by crawford hoying. The apartments are finished with cheap materials that fall apart after six months. for example: the countertops are finshed in black but its actually just spray paint that has been applied over laminate so its chipping around the stove and it is bubbling up in both bathroom sinks. you can see the splatter from the sh*t job they did when you pull the stove out.Our hot water tank gave out (b/c it was so old) and had to be replaced.one of our tubs got cracked and had to be patched, and we couldn't use it for a week between waiting for the specialist to come, install, then let dry.we had to call maintenance three times to get them to fix our entry closet door correctly. Hands down the biggest complaint is the HVAC! The master bedroom does not get warm for anything. We have to close all the vents in the entire apartment and leave the one in the master bed open just to keep it decent. All the cold air comes in from the master closet , which literally feels like outside. We keep a towel rolled up at the bottom of the door to block some of the cold air from coming in. if you drive through the community you will see lots of plastic covered windows. of course in the summer the master bedroom is horribly hot. then the second bedroom is the exact opposite because the hvac just pumps everything into that one room. the hvac system is just old and insufficient . we had squirrels living in our ceiling scratching at all hours of the night for several weeks and i even saw the giagantic gap in the roof and the eaves where they were entering. the screen door to our patio falls off every third time you side the door open. They installed these "fancy" locks on the buildings but they don't work half the time after you've entered the correct code. So you basically have to learn how to wiggle and jiggle the knob just right to get it to open. they probably got them on discount for being "refurbished ". that's how they roll around here, bottom of the bucket fixtures and equipment -high end prices . before they were bought out by crawford hoying they were calling themselves "luxury apartment homes".the head maintenance man is really rude, condescending and nasty. He is perpetually snotty as if doing his job is such a hassle. The ladies at the leasing office are nice but ineffective . The "fitness room" is more like a closet and both bicycle and one of the two treadmills are broken (the entire time we've lived here)- that's more than half the available machines. they never want to turn the air on in the summer in there then bark at you for proping the door open. The worst part about our experience here at bent tree is that every other tenant we have talked to has the exact same complaints. The issues are COMMUNITY WIDE, not just one or a few bad units. Don't waste your money.

I signed up for the 15 month agreement so that I could get a better monthly rental price on the two bedroom. The apartment is in decent shape and is very close to my work. Since living here, my experience could have been much better. In the winter, my bedroom got really cold, leading me to believe that the insulation is terrible because the living room temperature wasn't bad. Once summer and the heat came, we had to have a new AC unit installed because the last one broke. I was very happy that management was on top of that. However, our neighbors above have been a constant problem. I have called the police around 10 times in the 10 months living there. I understand that they don't open door so police can't write them a citation that way but CPD did inform me of a way around that. Management has not been proactive in this at all. There were two weekends where my roommate and I couldn't even stay there and nothing was done about it, nor any compensation. We practically live in Dublin, not down on campus. This situation has been completely unacceptable and they will not be earning my business after this nor will I be recommending this place to my friends looking for places in the area. I have been told to wait them out but not given a date of when they have to move. And since the neighbors upstairs have parties, they take all the parking since there isn't any designated parking for residents. I'm looking forward my leasing ending and moving.
