This place is tucked-away in the Belmont Caskets building, but it is well worth seeking out. Fast, fresh, and amazingly affordable, The Belmont Deli's specialization is a great, casual, and heathy breakfast/lunch options for business people in a hurry.The owners and staff alike are quick, courteous, and highly respectful of your time constraints. A solid option hidden in the Arena District and a solid value! Togo or limited seating are available.

I was attending an evening training session where a light dinner was being provided. I always fear that the standard pizza or pasta or such will be served. Boy was I happy when I saw the HUGE bowl of salad that was presented. There were all sorts of fixings - with strips of chicken and dressings available on the side.I snagged a plate and started loading it up. I saw goat cheese, dried cranberries, avocado, sunflower seeds and lots of halved cherry tomatoes included in the mix. I was truly in heaven. It was so flavorful and moist that no dressing was needed.I was not shy and went back for seconds, reloading my plate. When I asked who had catered our meal, I was told it was the Belmont Deli. It definitely made the session a lot more enjoyable to sit through it on a full stomach!

I mean, usually I dont care about things like this. But. Come on man. The lady who runs it refuses to wear gloves while she makes anything. I watched as she grabbed each veggie barehanded and then proceeded to take payment from another customer. Then her newly cash invested hand dipped into the cheese for my omelette. Then she texted on her phone. And then crafted a wrap for the paying customer. All barehanded. The prices are incredible. The food is good (if not tainted.) Everyone else there wears gloves. Except for the owner. Just. Please. For everyone. Wear gloves. It's a health code violation I'm certain. This Is why the nickname for The Belmont is The Dirty Deli.

Decent good food, cheap. You can get wraps, salad, and more cheaper than you could at other places in Downtown, Cbus. Also great for those businesses on the west side of downtown. It's on the ground level of an office building. There isn't a whole lot of seating and it can get crowded quick, but the staff is nice and Caroline always customizes your food to your liking.

I got all of this for how much?! What a great value. I went to Belmont Deli for the first time today and ordered the Grilled Chicken Salad with everything. It was delicious. Fresh romaine, grilled chicken heated up, yellow peppers, banana pepper rings, carrots, cucumber, craisins, mushrooms, black olives, sunflower seeds...and I might have forgotten a few things. Great friendly staff of two ladies were quick to prepare the order and cash me out. In and out in under 10 minutes at noon on a Friday - BRAVO CAROLINE's!
