Belmont Apartments

My wife and I have lived that The Belmont for two years in two different buildings. It's a great downtown location with everything you need in walking distance. Andy is very friendly and anytime we have a maintenance request he gets on it right away. The rent is very cheap and the residents are good people. I always recommend this place to my family and friends.

I have lived in this apartment for 2 years now and when I first moved in I loved it, Andy was great, but as soon as you have any problems what so ever, don't expect your landlord to speak to you, wave to you, or answer your phone calls. They are in it to take your money and that it is. Several times I've had to drive to the roger c perry building myself and have my rent situation taking care of because Andy was over charging me on two separate accounts. The building is full of great residents but don't expect anything to be done when you need it.

Quality Garbage at Best :)Better places for a little bit more, but with more to offer. I'm not innocent of not making noise, far from it, but my upstairs and downstairs neighbors must be old a** grannies/grandpas because they have the highest and longest sticks in their as***.Don't rent here if you're a student because you will not enjoy constant aggressive knocking and other annoyances for the tiniest micro level of noise. Now I would understand if it was late at f***king night, but good luck singing or being able to play any music that brings you any joy in your life at any times of the day because you will eventually get a warning tag for it. That, or I had the shi*ttiest of neighbors because I've heard others singing, and other noises from them and others around me, if you catch my drift, when I went to do on-sight laundry or midnight walks at 12, 1, 2, 3 AM, and it didn't seem to matter.Neighbors smoked marijuana. Mary Jane isn't the issue. The issue is that it was in this supposedly non-smoking apartment complex. And Andy, the property manager, was never able to find out who it was to fix the issue. I can't even begin to tell you how many sinus headaches were triggered from that all! If you like smelling old a** building and smoke, marijuana or not, because some residents were cigarette smokers (but to be objectively far to them, they always did it outside), this is your place.Complex site is littered and disgusting. On-sight laundry is just as disgusting as the normally overfilled dumpster outside.The rent they charge here is a crime for how revolting and rickety the building is, since you can hear the neighbors walking even if they are respectfully tip-toeing. No AC so you'll need your own AC units since they don't offer them. Unless you like scorching weather and searing hot buildings.Overall, this type of apartment appeals to a certain group of people. Usually historical-lovers and super old fashioned people. If that's what you like, you'll love it here.But in my honest opinion about this place: this place needs to be in a building-sized dumpster and set on fire. Like the title says, this place is quality garbage at best. :)

This was the easiest and most accommodating living transition I've ever experienced in my life. I ran into some trouble with my previous living arrangement and needed a place to live and fast. Andy Henn is by far the most professional, friendly and selfless apartment manager I have ever met in my life. There's no end to my appreciation for this man who made my transition so easy and comfortable. Any time I had a problem (which was not often) he was the man with the plan and would always do whatever he could to help. I would highly recommend this place to any of my friends or family and Andy made all the difference. If the realty company that owns these buildings is smart, they'll double his salary and never let him go. Plus - I got my FULL deposit back in a very timely manner. I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. Make sure to ask for Andy! All my best,-David K

Lived here for almost 10 years. Great location to everything. Reasonable rent. Great service from the manager and the maintenance. Laundry facilities accept credit cards.
