Beacon Cafe

Great little place to eat. We got salads and they were delicious! They have a pretty decent selection of menu items available from your standard dessert drinks a.k.a. Dessert coffees, to salads, and sandwiches. And if you are looking for healthy options like we were, there are none available. Not even light salad dressing. But that's OK, it was still very good and we enjoyed it. Also, I am not quite sure why these great little coffee shops insist on hiring sassy teenagers or young adults, but this shop was no exception. It's not that they're mean or are trying to be overtly rude, they just kind of act, annoyed that they are having to do something and aren't incredibly helpful if you have any questions about the food.My salad was good, but small. It was flavorful and as I mentioned they had no light options as far as other dressings. My wife's salad was not great at all. The chicken was sparse and very tough. It was about 1/4 of a a chicken breast. Mine was about 1/3 of a chicken breast. But again, other than the protein was flavorful. The only other negative was that we had to wait almost 25 minutes for our two salads to be prepared. the outside seating was nice, it seems to be a newly renovated building and was very simple but pretty one very very clean. It is a wonderful alternative to the "big box Amish buffet."

The turkey cranberry was the best sandwich I've had in a long time. Perfectly toasted and sauced. Just delicious. The mango smoothie was also great, as was the pistachio vanilla coffee. But I'll be coming back due that turkey cranberry sandwich alone.

So good I had to go back! My wife and I ordered the best cold foam coffee I have ever had - something cinnamon maple foam. She ordered the tiramsu latte, and it was similarly delicious!

What a great little small town coffee shop! They have the perfect options on their menu and the caramel cloud frappuccino is amazing. I love coming out here often because it's so quiet and the workers are always nice!

Cute spot for coffee. The coffee is good and the service is friendly. Ambiance is very clean and nice. Cute little cafe. The customers in front of us were taking their sweet time to order and asking for things that they simply didn't have, which was mildly amusing/annoying, but aside from that, it was a great little stop.

We came here for coffee while visiting Amish Country. The inside is so warm and comfortable. We didn't care for the type of coffee they serve, but I did have a parfait which was very good. We will return again to try some of their lunch items. This small town is fortunate to have such a cute place to enjoy a meal or coffee.

If you are in Amish country and you want to avoid the touristy restaurants and want great food, head to beacon cafe. We came here on a Friday afternoon and the place was great. It doesn't jump out at you when you drive by so make sure to put it in your gps. Most of the parking is our back. Once you get inside, you will find a clean restaurant with a great atmosphere. It is located in what was once an old log home so some of the walls are wood beam. To go along with the great decor is great service and great food. Grab a sandwich, coffee and a dessert and you will be satisfied. We had the pulled pork and slaw wrap and the oriental wrap. Both were very good, but the best part was the dessert. We shared a s'mores cheesecake. Amazing! If you like good food, make sure to make this a stop for lunch. We would love to go back for breakfast.

Awesome little spot in Amish country! We stopped for breakfast and had their veggie quiches - and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were! Definitely recommend others in the area to stop by
