Barry Bagels - Dublin

Pros:The bagels here are very solid. Nice crusty exterior and chewy inside. Pretty close to a traditional NY style bagel. The "everything" bagel is a standout. Bagels were toasted nicely and served warm. Cons:Did not enjoy the cream cheese at all. Had weird consistency and flavor was not good. Music was incredibly loud at 10 am. Understaffed and seems like it needs some management.Egg and cheese is microwaved for bagel sandwich.

Consistent! The bagels always taste super fresh. I love how many choices they have for toppings. Their breakfast usually my favorite but they also make a nice lunch bagel. Good coffee but not crazy about the iced tea!

2 people working, no one else in store except a woman waiting on a door dash. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes. While I was glanced at several times, not a word was said. I was never even acknowledged. Finally a lovely woman (I think her name is Rachelle) came in, clocked in, apologized several times and helped me. The extra star is just for her. Still zero acknowledgment from the other 2. If you don't want customers in your shop, just be mobile only. That's clearly the priority. Bummer, I live close by and it would be nice to have a new fun bagel shop to frequent. Oh well - lots of other options in Dublin.

I was craving a breakfast sandwich, when I passed by this spot. I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on a toasted bagel. I washed it down with a large cup of coffee. The two employees were bantering back and forth about the dining room set up and drink station supplies. I felt like they were focused on getting cups out rather than preparing my order. The sandwich wasn't great. I couldn't put my finger on it but the sausage was not very flavorful and the bagel wasn't great. Overall disappointed in this experience.

Great breakfast bagel sandwiches! Got the eggel with Turkey pastrami on everything bagel. So good. There are busy so be patient. Very good cookies as well Actually like them better than Einsteins

Sometimes you just want a bagel!We ordered online then came to pick up. It was probably close to 9:45 on a weekday and there were 2 customers inside. Not busy at all, but I saw only 1 worker. I'm not sure how busy they were before then, but I'm sure it must've been stressful. The staff member didn't really say anything to us. When we mentioned our order was behind the counter, they gave it to us then rushed to help the customer at the register. Kinda wish they had at least greeted us or maybe said "have a nice day." The bagels were almost cut in half but not quite all the way...Not sure what happened there.They call the breakfast sandwiches Eggels. Anywho, I got an everything bagel with eggs and ham. My sister got the same as me except with cheddar cheese and on a Sunny grain bagel. My everything bagel was fantastic while hers was bland. To be honest, the sandwich would've been completely bland if it hadn't been for the everything bagel. They didn't seem to have salted the eggs and I hardly tasted the ham. It wasn't a bad price for it, but I probably would get a bagel with cream cheese next time. Although, I guess I gotta choose wisely about which bagel I get or it might be pretty disappointing.

Every now and again, I'll get a great bagel from here, even though they are noticeably smaller than most other bagels. But about half this time, they will give me a bagel that should have been discarded, like today. The 2 everything bagels I received were no more than one inch thick before being sliced. Very disappointed, again. There seems to be no quality control here and that's why I rarely visit. I would be here 1x or 2x per week if I knew I would be getting a quality bagel every time, but the only thing that's consistent is their lack of quality and consistency.

The food was just what we were looking for. The service was very good and prompt. There weren't very many people in there so we had our choice of tables. Not sure what it would be like when it's full. But love that it's been around so many years.

Being a Toledo Ohio native I was excited to see one of my favorite bagel shops in Dublin. Unfortunately, the the experience was not the same. Service was ok but the bagels were substantially lower quality than I'm used to in Toledo from the same shop. Bagels were so hard and stale tasting I couldn't eat the whole thing same case for the other sandwiches ordered. Small and tough bagels are a no for me.

Really good bagels. Almost as good as Montreal-style. Ordered a lox and cream cheese sandwich. The cream cheese was whipped - too soupy for the sandwich - needed regular cream cheese.
