If you haven't eaten here and get your butt up and get over there. It's really delicious and you'll never experienced anything like what you experience when you go there. I highly suggest you try their empanadas fantastic!

My family and I enjoyed a casual dinner together here recently. The staff was friendly and helpful since it was our first time. I liked that you could just walk in order then choose an open table. A very casual atmosphere to grab a quick, but quality dinner. We ordered a few things to share between the table, Paella Rice, Beef Empanadas, Choripán sandwich, and the plantains. Very shareable portions! I would definitely go back again.

As a Miami, FL native, I'm always excited when I see a Latin American restaurant in Columbus. I stopped into Barroluco on a Saturday evening to try it out. The restaurant is very small inside but has a few tables to accommodate dining in. The staff was very friendly and did a good job of explaining the questions I had about the menu. I ordered the sampler platter which came with paella, sweet plantains, two chicken empanadas, and chimichurri for around $13. I ordered my meal to dine in, but they must have misheard me because I was given my food in a to-go carton which wasn't a big deal at all. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. I'm not sure if any of what I had was authentic Argentinian food, but it was definitely tasty Latin American food. I'll be back to try the Milanesa!

I have frequented the food truck but never have I set foot into this establishment even though I have walked past it hundreds of times while at work downtown around the corner from it. On this particular day, I was supposed to go to another restaurant close by, but I had noticed that it was closed. So I opted for Barroluco. I am certainly glad that I did. The menu here can appear to be overwhelming, but it is easy to navigate. I got the empanadas and the Paella Rice. I have a deep love for empanadas, and these are some of my favorite ones in the city. The crispy, chewy outer crust and savory seasoned ground beef are always pretty great when I have had it at the food truck; the restaurant did not disappoint. The rice was quite tasty and cooked well. The ambiance of the place is quite inviting. I was here with a bunch of my fraternity brothers, and we had a great time fellowshipping and eating. Everyone loved their meal. The service was on point, and the staff was very accommodating. Restaurant staff answered all of our questions, and they helped guide us to the best meals for us according to our various tastes.

What is so fantastic about Barroluco? Local, local, local! Omar has put his heart and soul into building up his dream of argentine food in Columbus, Ohio. Along with his parents, sister and wonderful friends and business partners, he has worked his tail off, and it's now beginning to show the fruits of his labor. I first tried Barroluco's tasty Empanada at last year's Food Truck Fest. They were then just in the beginning stages of getting their name out and striving for a brick and mortar store. I'm actually a bit more pleased that they've opted for a food truck, first, simply because they can move about, keep their costs down, and still serve delicious Argentine food to the masses!Their food was quite memorable, so I was elated to snag a ticket to their fundraising dinner a few weeks ago. What a wonderful event! I won't bore you with the delicious offerings, I just say their homemade chorizo sausage is the bomb, and the dessert offerings capped that nite, 100%. My first time trying a churro. What the?!!! I'll take one of those for every day of the year :DHappy to have bought one of their tees, to further support their endeavors. Try them out, folks. You won't be disappointed!!

Probably one of the best paella I've ever had including Barcelona one one that got on my trip to Madrid. Very tasty even though I don't eat meat. Very pleased that they have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. Nicely priced. Good service and the place looked clean. Will definitely come back again and recommend it

Absolutely Phenomenal!!! I am a big fan of their food truck but if I'm being perfectly honest, I'm not a huge fan of food trucks in general. I don't like not have a place to sit and eat my food so I often don't visit them. But the year these guys won best food truck in Columbus, I had to go check them out. And boy did they not disappoint. BUT I never got to have them again because food truck woes. So when I found out they were getting a brick and morter I knew I had to go right away. So one rainy afternoon we went to check them out and it was even better than I remembered. We were blown away. The food was insanely delicious. Seriously better than I remember. We started with the sampler platter and Paxton my 5 year old could not get enough of the paella and although I wanted to hog it to myself, I gave it to him so I didn't have to share the empanada. They are that good! Also on the sampler is a rib and loaded fries. Easily enough for a meal. But we didn't stop there - we could resist the signature sandwich The Barroluco. Holy Cow - this sandwich blew it out of the park. Sliced meat, ham, cheese and an egg on super thin bread with lettuce and tomato. You guys - this doesn't sound like much but oh. em. gee you guys have to run and get this sandwich. It is life changing. You will never want to go anywhere else for a sandwich again. We were just there and I'm already trying to figure out how we can go back. Protip - this location is on pearl alley off gay street so look for a meter on gay and walk over!

This was the first time that my wife and I stopped in. We had walked the city a few times and had noticed the incredible smell and well decorated patio so we made note to come back. We were not disappointed! The music, cleanliness, and hospitality of the place was 10/10. I got the first tacos and my wife the vegetarian paella, which both were great with fresh ingredients. But the sauce that comes on the side steals the show!! My wife and I will be back to have all our friends and Fam from out of town give it a try and you should too! (Ask for extra sauce!)

Overall, I recommend trying! I think a lot of the other reviews were pretty accurate. The staff were helpful and efficient. It's one of the handful of places to get empanadas in Columbus, and they're pretty good! I got a combo which included two empanadas and a side. I sort of wish the portion was bigger as I paid over $15 (including tip for the staff even though I ordered carry out). I work nearby, and I might come back in the future. I think the prices are reasonable, but I don't think I'd be a frequent customer since there are a lot of other options for lunch in the area which are slightly cheaper and offer bigger portions. Not to mention, other places don't request a tip so I'm more inclined to go elsewhere to save money and eat more.
