I loved going to Bare Bowl the owner is so very sweet and her little girl, is absolutely adorable! I will support any small business that makes it doable for people to bring their children as well as having their own while they are running a full time business. I loved the options they had. We were just bummed about one of our plates getting cracked but they offered a refund and to repaint when we can

What a fun and relaxing way to spend the afternoon. I have never been to a PYOP before and it far exceeded my expectations. We were able to make a reservation ahead of time and they had our table all set up when we arrived. The owner and one of the employees were so welcoming, and they gave us a quick overview of where to find everything. They have tons of pottery pieces to pick from and the prices of each piece are labeled on the shelf. You pick what you want to paint and away you go!They had tons of supplies - brushes, paints, stencils, stamps, etc. We had coffees from across the street and were able to bring those in. Music was great and just added to the overall experience. When you are done, you turn your pieces in for firing and they give you a pickup date for the finished product about 14 days out (currently). I am excited to see how our artwork turned out.

We visited The Bare Bowl for our first time this morning to create some one of a kind Christmas gifts for our family. What an awesome experience we had. From the time we walked in until the time we left the new owner, Mackenzie was just a gem. She was there to help if we needed, but didn't over step. Offered suggestions on how to make our pieces better. There are a variety of options for DIY ranging in price from under $10 to $100ish. From what I understand the location has moved and the space is adorable! Modern and relaxing. We will definitely return in the future!

Omg! The nicest women in Delaware! Ok you call yourself a regular joe? Not a creative bone in your body? Surprise surprise, Bare Bowl is your place. These gals can bring out the Rembrandt in anyone of us. You go in pick out your product; pottery or stoneware. Grab some paint and get to painting. It's fun, its messy, if you're stumped the gals are totally willing help out. After that it takes a few days to get your piece back as it gets kiln fired. Then you have a piece for life. Great date night, time with family, bachelor parties, cetc. The owner Cat is passionate about her business and it shows. Cant wait to go back

Get creative at Bare Bowl. Great place for parties and making memories. Choose from a wide variety of figurines and sculptures to paint. Once you pick out something to decorate let your imagination run wild. Plenty of parking and be sure to check out the rest of downtown Delaware while you're here!

We love the Bare Bowl! There is always a wide selection of items with which to channel your inner Picasso. There is a wide variety of price points, which makes it perfect for children, beginners and experts. I like that she has multiples of all items because I love to create sets, dipping bowls, cheese and cracker plates, canister sets etc. The turn around time is industry standard due to all the final steps. We have been there every year as a holiday tradition and look forward to all generations joining in the fun.

Bare Bowl is a great way to trigger your creativity and relax at the same time. It's a fun outing to do with a group of friends as well. The staff was helpful in explaining the process and was willing to answer questions or offer ideas. The walls are lined with shelving of fired bisque. Peruse around the selection they have to offer and select a piece to glaze. They offer a variety of different fired molds to choose from. They don't pour their own molds here. Prices are clearly marked. After selecting your art piece, you then choose which underglazes you want to use. There are a variety of different completed pieces around to give you ideas about what you can do. There is plenty of table seating around. Brushes are on the tables. The brushes were not particularly clean. So, be sure to rinse them out before use. Once you have completed painting on your colors, the staff will finish them off for you. They will cover them in a glaze for you that is food safe and fire them in their kiln. They promise to have your completed ceramic available in a week's time when you can come back and pick it up. They can really make a nice specialized gift for someone. Its fun to do, too. The shop is more about having fun and painting. It is not a place to go for ceramic classes or selecting greenware that clean yourself. It's more about painting the ceramics, being creative and spending some time with friends.

I had such a great time making pottery! Never thought I would say that but it was! I went with a friend and picked out a piece. Spent the next hour just painting and talking. The staff explained everything at the beginning and was happy to help if we had any questions. Price included everything and my piece was ready for pick up a week later. This is a great place.

This was my first time painting pottery since Elementary school. I went with a women's church group - so there were over 30 women there. Even with that many folks, the staff was SOOO helpful. They also have a huge selection of pottery so most price points as well as genera. I went in with a slight idea of what I might do, but looking around at the samples they have throughout the store, I honed in on the serving plate with a cool "splatter" design that someone did. Once you paint it, they have you come back in 7 days to pick up your final piece - which they even glaze so that it's food safe! Can't wait to see my final product!

I took my adult daughters there to paint and we had a great time! We had freedom to choose items, free access to all of the paint colors, and a table to ourselves. It was a peaceful and creative time we all enjoyed. My only concern was the tightly packed tables and the visible storage space in back, which made for a lack of walking room
