Baker's Dozen Catering

Wow, I'm really glad I read Gus W's instapost about this sandwich business and went and tried them out. The BEST Cuban sandwich I've had! Incredibly tender juicy pork. The ham was also really good, because it's bold flavor, but not over-salted like many generic lunch meat brands. The bun? Whoa! Soft and pliable, and great flavor. BD makes their own bread, I gotta get in line for that recipe. THE PERFECT ratio of meat-to-bread, so I wasn't forcing down endless amounts of bread-carbs. Doing business catering for a while now, Baker's Dozen is starting to serve up their fresh sandwiches at Global Gallery on the 1st and 3rd of every month. GIANT woohoo!Owner/chef Brian is doing an excellent job of cooking his offerings. His pleasant demeanor fits nicely with the business. And he has a knack for making great sandwich concoctions.

Baker's Dozen IS a catering company, but now Brian, the owner, has started doing popups at Global Gallery and is slinging out some amazing sandwiches. You can find him there on the first and third Thursdays of every month but definitely check out the social media pages to see if anything changes or if he's anywhere else.Side note: Global Gallery is serving drinks, so if you're looking to have a nice beer/wine/cocktail with your meal, they've got you covered.I've been a couple times now, since I live right around the corner, but I would drive to eat here. The main draw is the several different homemade breads that he's making for the different sandwiches. So far I've had the Cuban, Turkey Mushroom Swiss, and Italian sandwiches, and the bread on all of them, let alone the meat of it, was delicious! My favorite, and his most popular sandwich, is the Cuban with slow roasted pork and ham on the inside with your standard Cubano toppings. I'm hoping to Baker's Dozen gains more traction, because the food is delicious, and you can tell the amount of work that goes into preparing and producing all of the sandwiches Brian's putting out. Baker's Dozen is a favorite around my office. Service is always timely and the food is delicious. My favorites are the caprese on focaccia and the butterscotch brownie!

Our company was lucky to have Baker's Dozen cater a brunch for us recently. We absolutely loved the breakfast burritos, the fresh baked bread for sandwiches, and especially the pasta salad! Everything was fresh, delicious and perfectly plated. We highly recommend!

Brian was super responsive and courteous. I panicked on a Monday before a Thursday training realizing I forgot to set up lunch. I had previously been given Bakers Dozen's information from a coworker and thought I would give them a call. Brian was still able to help us out within a few days notice for 13 people.We tried Bakers Dozen for boxed lunches for a professional development day and it was a huge hit. We will definitely use them again for future boxed lunch events. The boxed lunch option we chose came with a sandwich, chips and cookie.The sandwiches had a ton of meat comparative to other places that do boxed lunches. The bread was fresh and delicious. Several of our team members raved about the cookies. Our entire team had positive feedback across all sandwich types: chicken salad, turkey, ham and roast beef. Some even stated this was the first time they felt full after a boxed lunch. The price was also bunch friendly and competitive to others.We will definitely be using them again! Thank you!

We found Baker's Dozen through a colleague. Brian has done 3 corporate lunches for us. I highly recommend. His food is really good and we received great feedback from our guests.We will definitely use him in the future.
