Bagel Street Deli

A long overdue review from my weekend in Athens for a friend's graduation. This was my first time at Bagel Street and I was not disappointed. After a weekend of late nights and probably too many drinks, my bagel sandwich just hit differently. I am sure next time I am in Athens I'll have to stop back in for another.

You know those places from college that are just nostalgic? This is one of those for me. And sometimes you go back and it's not as good as expected. BSD though is just as great as I remembered!! Came for a Feta is Beta which is one of my college orders and it's still amazing. Hits the spot literally every time. Other good options are the Larry david and Tom's turkey. This is an Athens staple.

I wish I had taken a photo of my MASSIVE bagel sandwich, but in my hunger I had forgotten. I stopped by here for a late breakfast on a Friday, and you could tell this is a popular spot based on the emptiness of the shelves. My bagel options were "limited," but by no means was I disappointed with what was left.I got the Wendy's way on the sundered tomato bagel and it was so fresh and filling. My hands were covered in cream cheese and the bagel had the best flavor. It cost me 8 bucks, which for what I got seemed reasonable. I would definitely be back.Just be sure to maybe go early and be prepared for a slight wait. The place is popular and all sandwiches are made fresh!

If there was such a thing as a Culinary Heaven; well, this is it! Are you kidding me?!?! The variety of food found on the menu rivals only the absolute great quality of the food, itself. Yes, it takes time to prepare your order, but Rome wasn't built in a day, and fine wine takes years to mature, so what's a few extra minutes here and there. I love this place, and I think that you will too.

My friends who went to OU were raving about this place and I see why! Despite how busy it was, the line moved quickly and our food came out fast as well. I had the Tomacco and added turkey, it was heavenly. If I ever make my way back to Athens they will definitely be stop!

Is there anything better than a college bagel cafe? My daughter and I both loved this place. She definitely thought the inside was much better than the Bagel place at Miami U. I got a breakfast bagel and all of their eggs are hard-boiled and sliced. I was skeptical, but it worked. I'm sure my daughter will be here a lot over the next 4 years and I plan to visit it again.

Sandwiches were really good! We both got the tofubien, a tofu Reuben. I veganized mine with vegan provolone instead of Swiss and spicy mustard instead of thousand island dressing. I got mine on a rye bagel. Bagel was surprisingly soft! My husband got his as it comes but picked the everything bagel. They hit the spot. Was kind of bummed there wasn't anything on the menu appropriate for smaller kids. Also, it was about 30 minutes before they closed and all the chairs were up and the person taking our order seemed annoyed.

Always the place to go for a quick breakfast or lunch! When I was in Athens for grad school BSD was my staple 3 days a week. I make it a pot to go back every time I'm im Athens! That's for the great food!

My go-to stop whenever I'm in Athens! Food is always hot and fresh. There are rotating soup options but the tomato basil is my favorite. The menu is so big that there really is something for everyone! Lots of vegetarian options too. The building is super funky and unique with chalk all over the walls and tin foil sculptures stuck in the brick.

Delicious chicken caprese sandwich on pretzel bagel! Chicken noodle soup had hearty chunks of carrots, celery & chicken + flavorful broth. Not so sure what I think of steamed bagels but the above 2 dishes were great!
